Thanks Jacob’s Towing! Austin was awesome. Prompt, courteous, professional and engaging. I waited for 2 and a half hours for a company my insurance arranged, only to be told it would take another hour before my pickup. I searched and found Jacob’s Towing and the driver (Austin) was there in 15 minutes! He took time to allow my granddaughter and her friends to experience a tow job and they were simply amazed. Made my day to see their faces light up to experience the finished results of a job done well! Thanks Jacob’s Towing!
They say they're going to come they make you believe they're going to come and then they just cancel behind your back so you're sitting there waiting for them Don't trust them
Unprofessional customer service I called at to request a tow the dispatcher sound like she just woke up and it was 7:20am. when I made the request and she basically rude and hung up on me and wouldn't answer the phone when I called back
Had a great experience with Jacob’s. One of my drivers from Atlanta broke down in Shorter Alabama and they got to him in a timely manner, hooked up and hauled him back to Atlanta for a reasonable price. Customer service was great. I’ll use them anytime we have issues near Shorter or Mongomery!
I was in an accident on I-65 S a few miles from Montgomery. Jacob’s Towing was called by the state trooper that came to the scene of the accident. Jacob’s towing came to tow my car. I called the following day to ask about getting my car. I was told that it would be $783.00 to get my car. I asked why it was so expensive, was told that they had sent two wreckers out because one couldn’t get it up the embankment. Then had to send a third bigger wrecker out to put the car on to carry it back to there place. Now needless to say it’s not my fault that they sent 2 wreckers that couldn’t do the job, I feel like they should have sent the big flat bed to begin with because the left rear tire was shredded and they couldn’t have pulled it anyway with the wrecker they sent out. Very overpriced, very unprofessional and I do not recommend their services to anyone. $783.00 to tow a car 5 miles. Ridiculous!!! I should not have to pay for the decision to send out 3 wreckers to get the job done. When one could have done the job if they knew what they were doing. So if I don’t pay $783 then I lose my car and they get to keep it. It’s clearly a mistake on Jacob’s towing and who ever chose to handle the situation the way it was done. Someone dropped the ball and I should not have to pay for their mistake.
Was there waiting for over 2 and a half hours for someone to come open the gate so we could get our truck, I had to called twice cause they keep saying someone was on the way, the lady who answered rudely said she didn't had control of the traffic, and came in with the surprise that our truck had a flat tire,so unprofessional, there's a sign that says $50 fee to open gate after business hour's, but we waited for the longest during business hours, I had to called out at my job cause there was no way I was going to make it on time
I called between 5 and 5:30 this morning. At 7:00 AM I had my wife wait on the car while I walked to AutoZone. I picked up parts, walked back, and fixed car. At 8:00AM the wrecker had still not arrived. The gal that answered the phone apologized and credited my bill. I am frustrated.
They were there super fast at 6 am. Took me all the way from the Ann St exit in Montgomery to my apartment in Prattville for a very low flat fee! So friendly and professional and very quick!
Had to get me car towed today. The drivers name was John what an excellent job he did. He took his time loading my car..He asked questions. He didn’t drive fast. I asked him if he would be able to put the car on the back. His answer was….Sure as long as there is an empty parking space. Before he came into the parking lot he got out of his truck to walk around to see where he will be parking the car…very satisfied. Keep up the good work John
If you like being lied to and having your time wasted, these are the people for you. I initially called for a tow at approximately 8:45pm and was told they would arrive in 30-45mins. After an hour I called again and was told the driver had to make another stop and would be on their way to get me shortly. After another 45mins I called again and was told that the driver had an emergency pickup and that he would be able to get to me in about 30mins. After and hour had passed I called them again and was told the driver was 10mins away. After those 10mins passed I called and told them to cancel. I was patient and trying to give them the benefit of doubt because it was a Saturday night but this experience was completely unprofessional and they blatantly lied about their intentions. Not once did I receive a call from them about any pickup time changes. These people are completely inconsiderate and will never get a call from me or my organization. Good luck to whoever uses them in the future.
Appointment was scheduled for 9 2 weeks ago. My wife around til 950 before calling to see why the delay. She was told it would be 45 min. She called an hour later was told 25 min. By this time my wife has missed 4 hours from work. I take off so she could go to work. I call I’m told the driver has my car in tow. I tell them no he doesn’t I’m looking at it now. Get a call back he came but picked up the wrong vehicle. Informed them that wasn’t the case. Was told he’s in route now. He shows. I made a simple request to get the car beside it pulled up 20 feet since he had to pull the other car up 20 feet with the chain because it rained all night. Was told for $75 I didn’t except but it was worth a try for a 4 plus hour waited lol. Other than the laugh we shared over the $75 everything else was a total failure
Quick and super friendly. Very happy to take lots of your money. Extra fees for going after normal business hours and for using a credit card instead of cash. The owner responded below that there are no extra fees for after business hours which is false. I have it written down for when I called the lady on the phone said it would be $50 extra for a gate/lock fee if I come after 5pm. If this is not the case, then please speak to your shady employee!
Horrible do not use. They told my daughter's truck to the wrong location. The driver did not use the address that I gave them.when I called the dispatcher was very rude not empathetic, she talked over me, and she wastwas to blame thedthe address saying itait pinged to the incorrect location which was a lie! He did not use the address at all and he even forgot to ask for payment from me and had to call me later on that night. HeHHe smelled like alcohol when hethe arrived. HecHe lockedalocked thedthe truck and lost the key. There was damage to my truck so let's see how honest they will be to resolve that.oh yeah the key was found hours later on the GROUND somewhere. The truck was finally taken to the correct location at 530 pm the next day! Kudos to the clean up driver Jessie, he was nice. Worst and most ridiculous experience ever! Do not use them
This company is absolutely horrible! If you want speed,customer service and great prices, save your money and call someone else. Had a veichle delivery scheduled for 10am, told me they couldn't make it and they had to reschedule for the following morning. Well next morning comes around9am 10am 11am, never received a phone call. I called them and they said they would be there in a few hours, a few hours go by and no call. I call them and they tell me they are loading it on the truck and will be there in about 2 hours. Finally received my veichle that i paid 400$ for them to deliver nearly 2 days before. Atleast they could've given me a call and said they have to reschedule. Won't ever call these people again!
I have had lots of wrecker setvices in the past but never had a service that Jacobs provided.
They were nice enough to offer me a lift to the motel and made sure I was safe for the night.
They let me drop my trailer and towed my truck to the dealer.
They went over and beyond the call of duty.
This company is amazing. The driver Mr. Michael went above and beyond to assist us. They arrived within 30 minutes. Fast and Friendly but yet super efficient. After a long day like this they were the 3rd company to come out but the FIRST to get the job done!!! Forever Grateful....Thank y’all so much
I'm really confused as to all of the negative reviews I've read online.
My husband and I had a Honda Civic that was in the middle of an engine swap that required a tow to the shop to have the work completed.
I spoke with Mandy (super friendly!) and explained the situation. She got me set up for a tow with a steel bedded truck, with no money up front, and Cody was at my driveway within an hour. He expertly maneuvered the tow truck up a hill, through the fence and into my backyard and loaded the vehicle (which had no front wheels due to engine and transmission being removed). Payment wasn't requested until he was ready to leave (since I wasn't accompanying him to the shop where the car would be dropped off), and he allowed the office to handle the payment details while we chatted about his dog.
Cody went above and beyond and really helped our family out of a bind and I appreciate him and the company so much for coming to our rescue.
When he left, I found he was so careful, he didn't even damage the sod (to my surprise!)
Next time I need a tow, Jacob's Towing will be my first call. Thank you all for making this a pleasant experience.
This place is not user friendly! The site is located in a weird area, no attendant is on duty! You have to call the Montgomery office! When the insurance adjuster arrived they couldn't find the keys! When I rode my bike to site with an police escort! We waited fifteen minutes in the heat! We both were upset! I would of prefer to use Jones towing! They are onsite and helpful!
Very helpful & nice crew. They had a full schedule but still took 30 minutes out of their busy day to stop by on the way and help with with their heavy duty wrecker. I will be using them again next time I need help in Montgomery, AL.
Great service!!! My BMW went down on me and I was stuck on the side of the road. I had no money on me! I called around and every tow truck company pretty much told me oh well. A cop call Jacob's and told them the situation and they came right away! Fair towing and storage price. The lady at the window was EXTREMELY helpful. I was selling the car, they allowed the buyer to look at the car and even towed the car to his location for him. She was super polite to every customer that came through the gates. No they arent racist!!!! People go down there with bad attitudes because their car got towed and expect people to kiss their butts. You get what you put out! So if they were rude to you I can honestly say you probably were rude first and deserved it!
The customer service in this companies office ,along with the level of professionalism is rated minus 10 stars as far as I am concerned. As if the sign that reads " NEW GUY PAYS FOR LUNCH" posted for the public to clearly see in their office, is not literally a sign of what level of professionalism and respect they have for others/ their own employees. I can assume that they treat people according to the situation at hand after reading these reviews. If you call them for their service, obviously they are a three to five star rating, however, not in other such situations where another agency calls them to tow your vehicle. I do not think they realize that either way, their business is built by paying customers and the contracts they hold, are influenced by such as well. You can make a complaint to the agency that calls on their services, and furthermore , you can as well, email the owner a complaint , and/or file a complaint online with the better business bureau. The woman working in that office was rude to a family member of mine, and directed them to handle their documentation in an unnecessary fashion that caused them to have to return to the office three different times. Apparently she enjoys feeling that she has authority over someones property. There were two babies under 2 years old who had to be in a car over two hours due to her ridiculousness when this could have been as simple as her getting property out of the "held" vehicle to begin with ! She as well, gave incorrect information to another customer, that my family member had to correct for her. She was not organized with documentation and she clearly does not need to be working with the public. She clearly does not realize that her attitude and horrible customer service can ruin a business a lot faster than 5 star reviews can help it. Contracts can be terminated. The owner of this company may want to consider hiring better office help, more professional and courteous office help with organization skills. She is not judge nor jury and she is in no position to treat CUSTOMERS as such ! Furthermore, my family member asked to have the vehicle locked once they were done, and the vehicle was returned unlocked. Unless they replace the office help with good customer relation skills, I will never call this company for their services, and I will further let my friends, associates, and family know as well.
I was having the worst possible night of my life. My truck got stuck in the mud and I was exhausted and running late to my appointment. It’s my first year as a truck driver so I was definitely freaking out because my trailer could’ve rolled over from the position I was stuck in. First of all the dispatcher Dakota was beyond kind to me and helped me calm down. She treated me like a person and her kindness won’t be forgotten. They tow came much faster than expected and I was safely pulled out. Icing on the cake was I arrived early to drop my load. Thank you guys so much. You saved my job and my future.
This is the most unprofessional place of business I have ever experienced. I'm very disappointed in the City of Montgomery for allowing these rude, cold, and all around mean people to be their towing service. Between speaking in a disrespectful manner to women, being cold towards people who have loved ones in the hospital after an accident, and making it difficult for the insurance companies to get claims processed, I am very surprised that these people are actually in business. Not a single person there has proper phone etiquette or manners. I'm feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this sorry excuse for an establishment.
Expensive, can't get writing off door window. Female answering phone didn't put u on hold, instead just yelled info, questions, etc from her desk without even covering mic of phone. Unprofessional, didn't seem to know how to locate vehicle, figure cost for holding vehicle, where or even if they had picked up vehicle even with detailed information off wrecker sheet, vehicle correct description & wrecker form ID number.
Upon arrival, unprofessional again. Only one there to pick up vehicle a little after 5pm. Had to stand outside in July's hot heat without even being acknowledged, spoken to or told it would be a while before she could help us. Later another younger female walked up & instantly before she walked in the trailer we were told to come to her window & she would help us. Apologized for any wait we had, knew her stuff & quickly had lot/area vehicle was parked in, figured up cost & we paid. She came right back out & walked us to vehicle. Was friendly, showed empathy, listened to event & socialized making us feel comfortable & decreased our stress.
Tyler was amazing! We were stranded in Montgomery headed to Biloxi. My insurance company had a hard time finding someone who would take us and our two dogs. Tyler rose to the task. He picked us up and was very nice and concerned. Hooked up my car, dropped it at the dealership then when he realized we were from out of state he parked and helped make phone calls to local hotels to find someone that would take our dogs. He found us a great hotel that accepted our dogs and dropped us off. I can't say enough nice things about this man! He restored my faith in humanity today!
These guys are awesome!!! Got my car stolen and police had to impound it to get prints off car. The thief kept the master key do I was needing to get it towed to the local dealership. My AT&T roadside service said it would be 2 hours until I talked to their manger which called Billy at B&R wrecker to work out a deal for AT&T to pay via credit card over phone. Keeping in mind my wife and 7 month old son are with me. So Billy takes payment from AT&T and gets my car to dealership in less than an hour! Billy was doing all this while eating his lunch and taking multiple phone calls by the way! HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCED I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! CALL B&R TOWING FOR ALL YOUR TOWING NEEDS NOW!!!!Thanks Billy and the B&R towing team for helping me out!!!
Great service! Showed up quicker than time quoted and towed my semi truck back to their secured yard for the night and finished towing the unit to local Freightliner dealer the next morning. One of their other wrecker drivers gave me a ride to a local hotel. Greatly appreciated that extra step in service!

picked me up, stranded on the interstate, traveled to my house so I could unload the stuff I had loaded in it before we took it to mechanic- I even had my dog with me and they were cool about that.
