motorcycle (trike) broke down on I10 - road side service "dispatched" Hub City Towing.
Rider in pitch dark was called OVER AN HOUR LATER by Hub telling him Hub City doesn't help motorcycles.
it was before dawn - DARK. thankfully i was able to come and help in my car. i brought reflective cones and flashlights so that the rider and bike would be safer - early-morning traffic I10 at in pitch dark was DANGEROUS.
THANK YOU to Mobile Traffic service - they saw rider broke down on their traffic cameras and assisted!

I had to have my Ford Escape towed to the dealer. Joe picked it up at 7am just as he said he would. He was very professional and did exactly as he would.
me, my mom and my little one were stranded on the side of I65, after I ran over a ladder in the road. We were very nervous about being stranded on the side of the interstate. Especially with people flying by us!
Out tow driver ( didn’t catch his name), did a great job of getting us safely to his truck and getting us towed to the dealership. So shout out to him! He was a lifesaver!!!
Would get NO stars. Lisa, that answers the phone is VERY RUDE!!! Came to pick up daughters wrecked car and I had to wait on management to get to place of business .Couldn’t give me a reason why I had to wait . She said it would be 10 mins. And it was over 20 min wait.
Once driver got there she continued to be rude !
Do not ever do business with them. Ever. They are crooks. Was gonna charge us for them being closed over the holiday weekend. How can we get the car out if they are closed. ???? Why charge people if they are closed. ???
Dispatch lady very rude! Just because I requested a flat bed tow truck for my truck. I refuse to do business with people with a bad attitude. Really no star. I reported the company to the Better Business Bureau.
I was picked up fast and I hate I didn’t get the guy’s name but his hair was red and he was so friendly. Loaded my vehicle up fast and got us home safely.
The best people around. Hub went out in uhaul and theses people were on it within 20 minutes on the side of road. Professionals is a understatement, they saved our butts!
Submitted a tow request through my insurance company. This company was extremely communicative, but the most amazing part is that the driver, Joe, showed up, diagnosed the issue, and got the vehicle running. Turns out it was just a bad battery (despite my 2 attempts to jump it off). This was TOP NOTCH service! Joe went above and beyond to help, and I cannot be more pleased with this company/employee.
My roadside assistance called them to tow my vehicle when I requested towing service. I liked the fact that I received a text stating their ETA would be in one hour. I called at the 50 minute mark and Renee said the driver was 6 minutes away. The driver told me his name but I had a lot going on and I forgot his name but he was very nice and professional. He took pictures of my whole vehicle before he even hooked up my car which is smart business on their part. He loaded my car up quickly on the truck bed. The driver was very knowledgeable about overriding my hybrid to put it in neutral and he explained EVERYTHING to me so I knew exactly what he was doing and why. I hope I never need a tow again but if I do I’m going to ask my roadside to call them.
These people are crooks. After talking to the driver while towing another car and having a plan for me to have my car jumped off so I can move it by that afternoon,then not even 10 minutes after he leaves he comes back quickly while I'm standing across the parking lot and does a fast tow and as I'm waving him down to let him know I'm moving it, he looks at me and shakes his head then runs right into me knocking me to the ground. And now I'm unable to get my car back cause they are charging me $250 then $50 a day that my car is there. They are very bad people who are taking advantage of people and making it so you can not get your car back.
Called this company on 12/3/23 to schedule a tow of my car on 12/4/23 at 0630 am. By 0650 no one arrived. I called and no one was on the way. No tow was showing scheduled. Was told they would send someone. The driver showed at approx. 0830 and I had to pay more than I was quoted on the phone the night before. Called company to discuss these issues and the lady I talked to did not show any remorse for their horrible service. Only made excuses. Do not use this company. Would have given them 0 stars but system would not let me.
I was in a we terrible predicament and had to get a tow and was given an estimated wait time of about an hour, however the driver, Quez, got to my location a lot faster then expected, and on top of that, when I originally called them I asked to take to me to Walmart, however when he got there I let him know my worry that they may not have my tired I needed and the driver was courteous enough to suggest another location and even agreed to take me to the other laction instead of where I first askes. Then even offered to let me use his charger.
Just remember when your vehicle is towed it can cost a lot of money if you leave it very long. At $50 a day many are lost when individuals can't come up with the cash. This is a racket at all the storage yards. But $50 a day is even more than police yard and ⁰
seems too high a storage free.
Great customer service from the dispatcher to the tow truck driver. Was broke down in Daphne last night. Dispatcher said 45-60 mins. Driver was there in about 25 mins. Very patient, and kind gentleman. Highly recommend this company.
Awesome towing company! Felicia, Renee and Daniel helped us late in the day and super fast. My son's truck broke down almost 6 hrs away from home. Stranded with no one to help I called Hub City and they were there within 30 mins.
Hub City Towing offers great service. The tow truck arrived within 30 min of my request. The driver was great! I had some miscommunication with my insurance company and he was patient And even had great advice how to resolve the issue so I didn't have to come out of pocket for the tow. My issue was resolved within minutes and my car arrived safely to the dealership! Thanks Hub City!
Had issues with a dead battery, and the first company to come out was unable to jump my car. When Hub City showed up to tow it, they were able to jump my car, then had me follow so that I could buy a new battery, then changed it in the lot for me. Can't recommend these guys enough! So thankful for their help.
Scotty was sent to complete a roadside assistance call for U Haul. He called before traveling to our location to verify the tire / rim size. Very glad he did because U Haul told him the incorrect size of the tire / rim he was replacing. Scotty arrived earlier than what he thought it would take him and was very friendly, professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Scotty not only replaced the damaged tire, he thoroughly inspected the trailer to ensure we would not have any issues during our trip. I cannot recommend highly enough Scotty's work ethic, professionalism, knowledge or professionalism enough.

My vehicle was towed for being parked in a unauthorized area. So I understand it was my fault and I'm responsible for the bill. That being said the towing dispatcher said that the police make up the prices of towed vehicles. Which I called the local police department they said it is not there responsibility to set prices.

So lie number 2 was the scheduled time to get my vehicle. No show no call I had to reach out to them.
We had an appointment to meet at 6:00 after calling @4:00 when 6 came around we heard from no one so I called. The dispatcher said they were still 45-1 hour out. Very dissatisfied.
If there were a negative star I would give it to them.
Broke down in Mobile, AL on the side the interstate while evacuating from Louisiana for Hurricane Ida. Called Hub City and they got to us in a very short amount of time. They waited for a taxi to pick us up on the side the interstate and was very helpful the next day in towing our vehicle to the repair shop. Would recommend. Also the dispatcher was very nice with excellence service!
My vehicle broke down a mile from their storefront and I only needed towed half a mile to my house. Ended up waiting just under 4 hours while being told "it'll be 30 minutes" over and over again as I made repeated calls to see what was taking so long. Plus it was nearly 90 bucks. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with any business in my life.
My family and I had need a tow and we came in contact with this driver named Daniel, Hub City you have a great employee. He came in a timely manner and had a great personality. Bottom line he did a great job. I would highly recommend you to ask for Daniel.
I had a gas leak on my car. My apartment manager called these people to tow it. I specifically asked if he would tow it to my mechanic. He said no. It would have only cost me $125 to do this. So he took it to their yard. It cost me $310 to get my car out. The girl at hub city told me they told him they would let him tow it to my mechanic for $125. I had another tow company that would come to my apartment and he was only going to charge me $45. Huh City are thiefs!!!!!! I'm so angry!!!
1 Star simply because I cannot give them 0. I have attempted to use them twice-only for them to have me waiting so long I had to call a separate tow company each time. Not to mention how laughably rude the secretary was. I was looking to see if they had a positive review on here and it was created by a guy that works there LOL so be careful with these guys. Take advice from a local and PLEASE call Semmes Towing and save yourself some time.
Blew a tire on I-10 near downtown mobile, GEICO handed me over to Hub City Towing and they were there an hour before the provided ETA. Friendly, professional employee gave me an honest assessment of the situation when we arrived at a local shop. He clearly knew what he was doing and efficiency goes a long way when it comes to emergency automotive/ mechanical services. Highly recommend Hub City.
My experience was good. I had to wait on the side of the freeway with my dad’s car after he had a tire blowout on the way to work.

I was wary to use them based on some negative reviews, but the driver was very prompt and courteous. I thought I had a bad starter in my truck but Mike was able to get me jumped off and even offered to still tow if I wasn’t comfortable driving myself.
My experience was very positive and hopefully I won’t need them in the future. If so, I’ll call them again.
Absolutely horrific experience!
My wife was at a conference in Mobile and was in my car and it wouldn't start. So I called AAA and had them send someone out. They said it'd be 50 minutes at the longest. Keep in mind she's at a conference in and out of classes the whole time so she can't really be ducking in and out. Plus she was supposed to be leaving the next day so we really needed to get my car to a shop ASAP to start seeing what was wrong with it.
She arranged it so she could be waiting for the guy when he was supposed to get there. After an hour they don't show so I called AAA, they called the towing company and said it'd be 10-15 minutes. After 30 minutes still nothing.
I called back, they called the towing company again, oh they're 10 minutes away. 30 minutes later nothing.
I called again and AAA said it showed on their screen that the guy had arrived (nope). So they said that usually means he's in the area. She waited out by the car (105 degree heat index) for 15 more minutes before the guy finally showed.
So it took them 2.5 hours to get there when they said it would only take 50 minutes.
Then she said the guy just wanted to chit chat the whole time, never once made an excuse for why they were so late or anything. She kept telling him she needed to go back to her classes but the guy just kept chatting her up.
Absolutely miserable experience. If you call AAA and these people are who they're sending, just pay whatever you have to, to use another company.
Need a tow, un-jumpable car dead in the driveway.
Driver was an hour late, acted weird the entire time he was around my wife, and locked the keys in the car after he dropped it at the mechanic shop. The closest set of back-up keys are in Mobile, I live in Gulf Shores - so we needed someone to unlock it.
I called Hub City, who apologized & said they had a car in the same area as the mechanic shop that could get it unlocked. An hour and a half later - car is still locked in the lot.
I call Hub City to ask where their "local car" was & had the most absurd conversation with the dispatcher woman. She REFUSED to let me speak to anyone else & continued to push responsibility to anyone but her driver. (In absolutely idiotic ways)
At one point she quite literally accused my insurance company of being the folks at fault for locking the keys in the car. A few choice quotes:

"We don't provide car unlocking services, I don't know who told you someone was on the way, they were wrong."
"You told him to leave the keys in the car," I didn't. "Your wife did, then" No she didn't. "Someone did." No they didn't. "I know someone did." How do you know this? "I just know."
"How do you know there was someone at the counter at the shop? Maybe he didn't have anyone to give the keys to."

Because of the lost time, the mechanic shop might have to keep my car over the weekend instead of identifying the problem Thurs. & having parts to the store Friday morning.
Save yourself the headache if you have a choice - choose ANYONE but Hub City. These are not competent people. They do not have their acts together.
