Huge shoutout to Tony at Auto Air Alabama West — the man deserves a medal (or at least unlimited iced coffee)! He swooped in today like an automotive superhero, fixed my problem in record time, and had me back on the road before my playlist even hit song three. He was friendly, efficient, and somehow managed to make car trouble almost enjoyable. They helped me out a few years ago too, and clearly haven’t lost their magic touch. Five stars — if only all “uh-oh” moments came with a Tony!
I Highly recommend. I own a small service company and spend a great deal of time in my truck in this heat and recently lost cool air. I made several appointments with a local chain and kept getting sent from one location to another. Today I went to one of my appointments and was told (again) that they wouldn't get to me. I called Auto Air of Alabama West and the owner told me to come in and he got me cold quickly. Very honest and personable!!! I will be a customer for life!

From the minute you walk in here, you know you are in the right place. FRIENDLY and quite Knowledgable along with being quite professional as you would expect from someone working on your vehicle. Trouble shot and explained my equipment problems and explained what was going to happen
They didn't shotgun the airconditioner, till it worked, like some shops on Airport dr.
They corrected bad workmanship and it am driving out 100% repaired and satisfied, and not like I was fleeced.

The A/C in my 2008 highlander went out, two other local mechanics told me to go see Tony. Toyota dealership said the new compressor and condenser would be over $3,000 and couldn't get genuine Toyota parts! Tony did it for less than $2,000 with genuine Toyota parts! Now my air is ice cold and the air pressure coming out of the vents is much stronger. And the young woman who manages the shop is very knowledgeable about parts and the process. She's a real gem! Thank you!!!

Was quoted a low price and charged double but I knew it was a low price when I heard it. Tony is super knowledgeable and very friendly. Only downside and this is purely a personal preference was the politics representing the business. I was offended but I didn't feel discrimated against at all.

Auto Air of Alabama provides first-class service every time. While I dread AC problems, I never hesitate to bring my vehicles here — they make the process hassle-free and always do excellent work. They’re well-known for a reason, so I recommend calling ahead because they stay busy!
Auto Air has faithfully served our family for decades. Most recently my Infinity AC compressor locked-up and they replaced it. They did it on time, at the quoted price, with no hassle. They have worked on my Infinity, Mercedes, Vette, Sequoia, and other. I trust this group.

You can’t beat the service!! Tony, Tommy, and Moondog are so friendly and helpful. Got my wife’s Tahoe in and out quickly and fixed. I won’t ever use another shop for A/C repairs.

I came in from Texas and discovered the floor board of my vehicle was wet. I explained my issue to Tony and he went to work immediately explaining every detail of the job.

This place is top notch! There was a water leak on the driver's side floor. A different place stated it was the AC drain hose stopped up. Well, that did not fix the issue. Auto Air of Alabama West not only checked my AC and drain hose, they checked the Sun Roof issue and found the problem and fixed it. These are friendly people helping their community. My truck sprang an antifreeze leak and I limped into their shop because it was closest. I was in one hell of a bind, but Tony and his guys eased my worries,replaced all the hoses and connections as needed at a surprisingly fair price! I may have went there by chance the first time, but I will definitely be a repeat customer from now on. The people there are kind and surprisingly empathetic to their customers as well. Even though they were slammed with customers to the point you couldn’t hardly find a parking spot at their shop, they got me back on the road in record time. Thanks again guys. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I mean same day service!!!! My A/C was out for months and Tony Fixed it!!! Mr. Tony was great. We couldn't figure out a leak inside my car. He tried everything. He ended up taking my carpet out three different times. The leak ended up being from damage that was from a previous wreck. He helped us find a body shop to fix the repair. Then he ran my car through a car wash to make sure it was fixed before putting my carpet back in for the last time. He honored his warranty on his first job when we thought it was fixed. We highly recommend Auto Air. Mr. Tony does everything he can to fix your problem and quarantees his work.
Auto Air is amazing! This is the most friendly business that I have visited since living in Mobile. Not only are they so kind but also offer amazing prices and service. The guys there are all business. I took my company truck in after a mechanic shop couldn't find the problem with my A/C. Tony came out and looked at it and told me the problem in less than 3 minutes. They have a great "first come, first serve" system where you bring it in early in the morning, they will have it finished and out asap. Also the price was very reasonable. Well recommended.

Absolutely will never come back again. They left a wrench by motor and did not properly fix the problem. My father thankfully knew how to fix the problem, otherwise my car would still be rattling. When I told the manager about what I was experiencing, the only thing he did was ask for the wrench back. How unprofessional!
