Great place, honest work for a reasonable price. Got a crazy estimate some place else and took my car here and they were able to fix the problem for 1/10th of the price.
Update: posted last year. Went back this year for different repair. Excellent again. Only mechanic I will use!
Fix your car enough just to come back. Never fully repair your vehicle. I had a issue with my a.c. No issue with heat. Now my heat isn’t working… it’s not winter Y’all.. be mindful.

R and R Automotive saved My daughter. she earlier stopped in Express Oil Change and Tire Defuniak Springs that suppose to have an Certifed Mechanic for an issue with her car and they sold her a battery and did a BS diagnostic test that said Misfire 3. Then tryed selling her an engine.. She left there with the same problem.. Defuniak Springs should be ashamed of that place..

Car is running great.. Red and his Customer service host. Im sorry i didn't get her name. Treated my daughter like family, not only fixed her car for a great price,

When your child is 5 hours away at school and calls and tells you that her car is messed up your heart drops. I know nothing about the area and how to Google a mechanic and I thank God that he pointed me in the right direction. They were Fair they were honest Mr Red called me and kept me informed of everything that was going on throughout the process. My mother's car needed repair. She was having difficulty driving it because it kept giving her car kept jerking whenever she stopped. She brought her car in and they instantly found out the problem and repaired it. Her car is riding like a brand new vehicle. She is very pleased. Thank you all soo much! This place is the worst in the city… you don’t get a receipt they don’t fix your car like they suppose too they try to take shortcuts to save money all of the mechanics are shade tree… and when u try to call the owner back he doesn’t answer cause he already has your money you’ve been warned go anywhere but here
Terrible, please read carefully, I stayed in Mobil for one night and my car needed an oil change, so I made an appointment here and went and bought the oil myself. When I went there, I waited for 2 hours no matter where you look and finally they put the wrong oil in my car and when I asked why they did this, they told me that my car was a Honda fit, but my car was a big Toyota. And they don't understand anything about cars enough to not understand this, they didn't change the oil properly, they drained the oil they put in again and put another oil again and the last time I noticed, they didn't even put some of the oil I gave them, they put the oil in my car, and oil leaking now, they don't even know how to change the oil, which is the simplest process in a car. I really don't understand why they opened a repair shop. Definitely don't go here.
Highly recommended. My experience was the R&R guys are the next best thing to having a mechanic in the family. They listened to my description (non-mechanic version) of the issues I was having with my vehicle, sorted out the problems, called me with a run-down and helped me prioritize the list according to my budget. Highly recommend R&R! We were on a long road-trip and experienced car troubles (bad fuel pump). Although they were busy, they fit us in, fixed our car and got us on the road same day. Excellent work, honest team, and fair price!
I did enjoy most of my experience with R&R but a major mistake they made replacing my entire brake system almost cost me totaling my car and facing serious injury. With an $800 repair they had attached the wrong hoses, causing other parts to dig into my brake lines and brake fluid to leak out over time. This led to my brakes failing on the interstate and almost crashing at high speeds. There was warranty on the service luckily, so another $500 isn’t down the drain, but I really wish I had my brake system replaced more carefully or at another shop.
While moving 1800 miles across the country, I experienced car problems and stopped by R & R. The team was extremely prompt, honest, and so patient with the situation. Russell was amazing and the staff went above and beyond with their customer service. Highly recommend!
Car left the shop running and driving with no issues. After it being there for 15 days for a job worth 3. 1 grand down the hole. Went to pickup on day 11 and my engine ran hot. They had to tell me the thermometer must have broke and it wasn't their fault. Was not charged for mistake. Had no vehicle on Thanksgiving day. Had to taxi to New Orleans. They will fix your car. But on their own time.
These guys are incredible and I thank God for them everyday. I had my honda civic towed from a Honda dealership who couldn't diagnose and fix a stalling engine. I am in bankruptcy and thought i was going to have to buy a new car. Within a day I had my car back and it seriously is running like the day I bought it. I am beyond happy and can't thank them enough for all they did for me. They went the extra mile and fixed problems I didn't even know existed. Rhyne and Red and their team are a great, talented group of guys who are friendly, courteous, and really care. As a woman it's so nice to have a shop you can feel safe taking your car and know they are always honest and do amazing work. Thank you guys for all you do, it means more than y'all will ever know! Im never taking my car anywhere else and can't recommend them enough to everyone
Red and Rhyne are a top notch group of guys. We have been using them for over 5 years. They are honest and priced very fair. They are the most transparent Auto repair shop I have ever used. They are straight with us and are courteous and spend time explaining things. No more dealer for us. We have family come from Birmingham just to use them when they need Auto work done. Amazing group of guys.
R & R replaced the blower in my vehicles AC unit a couple weeks ago. They did a great job, my AC has never worked better. They had my car ready the next day, plus they are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend R & R.

I took my Daughter's car in to get checked out about a week ago. Red did not come back with a bunch things that did not need to be done. He gave me an accurate diagnosis on what needed to be done now. new front rotor and brake pads. They did an awesome job. No shaking and shimmering when you hit the brakes now. Stumbled upon R & R based on Google Reviews and I am so glad I did! The guys at R & R are courteous, honest, very responsive, and provide great service! Will recommend to everyone for their automotive repairs (I took my car for A/C repairs.) They have a nice waiting area as well.
I cannot say enough GREAT things about R & R. They have completed several repairs for me. Staff is honest, friendly, and reliable. Not many mechanics offer to repair your vehicle without suggesting other exorbitant/unnecessary repairs. They charge fair market price for parts rather than 50%-80% markup, and will even install the customer's parts as well!! Awesome all around experience.
Highly recommended shop. I am a mechanic in California and helped out a friend in Mobile sent her to R & R based on good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Got my friends car fixed and back on the road at a reasonable price. I will definitely send her back for any future mechanic needs.
Best auto repair in mobile! I took my van here to get the air conditioner fixed. I have a 1 year old and its too hot outside to not have cold air. They took me immediately called in the parts and I was out the door in 2 hours. Fast, friendly, amazing buissness! Recommend to anyone looking to get it done right!
My stepsons Jeep broke down on his way back from Mississippi, and I needed to have it towed after hours. Brad not only set up towing for me, but he also allowed me to have the Jeep parked at his shop after hours. In less than 24 hours, he had the problem (crankshaft sensor) diagnosed and the part ordered. The repairs were completed quickly and the price was exactly as quoted. He was very honest and straight forward about the problem and didn't try to pressure me or sell me on anything I didn't need.
This guy is the real deal folks. I will now be making the drive to Mobile ( I live in Daphne) to have my truck serviced as well, since I had such a positive experience at R & R. Highly recommend these guys!! My son goes to college in Mobile ,about 5 hours away from me. His car broke down and needed repair. Called R&R,super nice ,took care of calling a wrecker,quickly told me what happened and gave me all my options .We agreed on the repair ,he ordered the parts and car was ready the next day. The price was great, the communication was great,took payment over the phone, and now I have someone I can trust with my son's car. He even told me that he could check it over anytime before he headed home. Awesome service ....thanks Red.
I just left R & R a few hours ago. I am floored by these guys. As a woman, it's very easy to get taken advantage of when it comes to automobiles. I had another mechanic tell me that I had an issue that was going to cost me well over 2000 dollars. He was completely wrong. The issue was fixed at no where near that and was completed right then. Not only that, the guys at R &R amazed me with how great their customer service skills were when I waited and when I called them to ask them to look at my car. Hands down, best mechanic I've ever dealt with. Thank you!!!!
