I took my c230 in for a loud sound in the engine and oil leak. I was told I needed several other thing and I paid for all services they suggested. They only repaired part of the leak the noise is still there. Repairs not competed.They told me they were certified to fix the car. Come to find out some of the people working in the shop had no training. Long story short, I had to take it to the dealership and they found several things they say they fixed were not fixed. I was told I could file a claim for false repairs. I am still thinking I should . So much money wasted.

These Guys are extremely knowledgeable and have the best prices in the city. They get your vehicle in and out fast and they make you feel welcome during the whole experience. Brought my CRV in for an oil leak. Got it back reeking of cigarette smoke with the check engine light on and the "D"rive light flashing. When I returned to ask Crowell about the new lights on my dash, they lobbed a story at me about how they weren't sure what was wrong and that "the transmission just needed to readjust to my driving style." I took my car to a different mechanic. Turns out, when Crowell took out my transmission to access the oil leak, they missed a plug when reinstalling it. It was an easy fix for the new mechanic. It should have been fixed for free by Crowell. If I could review with zero stars, I would.
This is a great place to take your car. The people are friendly and are really good at fixing the problem or problems you may have with your car. They are a car physician if your car is sickly and need some healing take it to Crowell Automotive.
I found this place based on reviews. Kevin answered my initial call and assisted me with towing my vehicle to his shop. He kept me informed of any concerns and did not try to upsale repairs. Kevin was actually doing a second opinion from Firestone, who botched a job. I was extremely satisfied with the work completed and the responsiveness of the team. Highly recommend Crowell Automotive.
We had to get our compressor replaced. It would have cost 1300. Luckily the kind people at Crowell got it down to 994. They also got the job down in a day. Amazing thing. Most places told us it would cost more and they have to keep it for a couple of days. Crowell automotive is the best shop for auto repairs.
Walmart totally screwed up on our oil change and oil spewed all over our engine. If we had driven it the engine would have blown. Thank God for Crowell. They spotted the problem, fixed it quickly, and even helped us file a claim against walmart. Highly highly recommend!
I was on vacation in Alabama when my car starting stalling and illuminating the check engine light. We found Crowell Automotive online with good reviews and gave him a call. He took my car that night, diagnosed it the next morning, got the part and made the repair all while working with my extended warranty. I was impressed with his work ethic, his honesty, and with the price of the repair, which was less than I was expecting. If I lived anywhere near Mobile, Alabama, I’d take all my cars to Crowell Automotive.

Cannot EVER get anyone on the phone! I called to have my car towed there and the 1 time someone answered, she told me to call her on Tuesday when I was ready to have it towed there. No one has answered for 3 weeks!

Keith was very friendly and knowledgeable when I spoke to him on the phone so I decided to take my car to him. He had it running smooth in no time! No more exhaust leak!! Highly recommend!! I brought my Nissian Murano here after getting a very high quote from Nissan. Crowell was able to get everything done at half the price. In addition to saving thousands of dollars, they also had the best customer service I have ever experienced at a car shop. Wonderful service and people.
Great service. Very fast, and Kevin was very friendly and personable. However, i was getting the starter replaced on my 07 Honda Accord, and was charged $772 for it. This is extravagant for a part that shouldn't cost more than $200 but they charged $414 for it, and $288 to install. I was very disappointed in this price. I thought the labor was quite reasonable, but I cannot think of a justifiable reason to more than double the cost of the part as a markup.

Had a complete engine swap done.. my daughter's car needed an engine... I was out of state working. Crowell automotive towed the car and replaced the engine all while I was out of town...I paid them over the phone!! How great is that!! Follow up: Engine running strong!! First oil change since engine replaced... FANTASTIC SERVICE!! My daughter stopped by after school and Kevin and the team checked engine and changed the oil.... she was on her way home in 20 minutes! Fast! Courteous! Honest! and Professional! What more can you ask for!! OH..did I mention it was FREE!! It was included with the the engine install... how awesome is that!! If you go somewhere else you're waiting your time..
