Worst experience imaginable. Gave an eta of 30-60 minutes. I called back after an hour and a half to be told it would take another 60-90 minutes. Ended up getting help from the police to locate another towing company. I called back to cancel only to be informed they would be charging me 50% of the towing fee for canceling even though they were hours later than the eta provided and never did anything. I'm not even totally convinced they have tow trucks. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND USE ANYONE ELSE!
I would not recommend their services to anyone if you want to be taken seriously. I called twice! Someone answered then proceeded to hang up before I could speak. The second time I called I spoke to a man and gave him a description of the vehicle I was in then the man hung up in my face. I’m sure having to request a tow service in the first place is already frustrating enough but having someone hanging up in a customers face unprovoked increases the frustration. I advise you give your business to another tow company that won’t waste your time over the phone.
DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. The calls get dispatched out from some office not even located in Mobile, AL. ETAs were given, and was about another 1.5 hours longer than what was told. They make you pay upfront over the phone before anyone can even get dispatched, and it just was a complicated experience. Would’ve rather had someone located directly in Mobile than to be dispatched through a 3rd/4th party.
PLUS they were over $240 for 13 miles one way. Someone local came within 30 mins and was only $125.
They are very detailed, and prompt and go above and beyond the call of their service. I have used them for years for roadside assistance. They resolve any issues that you may have. That's 100% in my book. If you want it done right.
I called them to pull my truck out in February. They took my payment over the phone and never showed up. Come to find out they called another tow truck company to do the job after waiting for 3 hours. I had to pay the other company to tow my truck when they got there. I ended up paying twice. SCAM ARTIST!¡ If I could give 0 stars I would.....
Okay, so I contacted this company 2/01/23 at 5pm when my car died in a parking lot. They were pleasant and efficient on the phone. However, immediately after taking my debit card info over the phone the charge for the tow service showed up - and so did at least 5 other suspicious charges listed as MAF HYPERMARKET LLC starting with $9 and ranging all the way up to $364. I immediately blocked the charges on my card, however, two still went through before I could catch them.
I then waited until almost 8pm before a tow truck arrived. My brother ended up leaving work to come and use his Jeep Truck to wench me into a parking space so I could at least leave my vehicle to use the restroom and get food. I am relieved that they did eventually show, but the timing of the random charges gives me cause for concern and I wanted to mention it. The staff and drivers were all very kind and polite but do be careful. I will dispute the charges with my bank and see if they can pinpoint where they originated from. I will update if I learn more.
Update: I did let the towing company know about the charges and they assured me they could not charge me anything outside of what my invoice states. However, they could have a rogue employee stealing card info. I’ve since had to cancel my debit card, lock my credit report and today someone is trying to log into my credit card accounts! The timing of this cannot be coincidence. Quality Towing, please investigate. I have filed a complaint with the FTC.
