Be careful. Some of the drivers will take it upon themselves to take your vehicle somewhere unauthorized and “fix it”. Which will only end up costing you $4400 to ACTUALLY fix(about $4000 to fix what was wrong before, and an additional $400 to replace the part they tore off with a screwdriver). They’ll take your money for the towing and even extra money for “fixing” your car. And even get a nice big discount at our family store for “helping”. But he said don’t tell boss man? Then your check engine light will come on. Then, they’ll ghost you.
The only upside of the experience was they came and go my truck quick. Besides that my truck was damaged by their driver and the owner and driver refuses to accept any accountability
They towed my truck to the shop in a timely manner and that’s where the good ends. I have asked for a detailed invoice for 2 weeks to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. They will not give me one. Talked to 2 different people and nothing. I even sent them all the info and they still will not give me one. I called the office and a very unprofessional person answered the phone and just said “send the info” and hung up. Texted one number and the person answered “huh?”!!! Beyond frustrated with something so very simple.
And then the response below for me to contact them to resolve. I’ve called and texted multiple times already. They have all the info that I’ve sent to them twice. Just email me an invoice!!!!!
Very timely like within 30 minutes show up. Had to go from mobile, al to Gautier, ms. Very very reasonable pricing for that long of a haul and great service. Very friendly people that will help as much as possible and not out to try and kill or take people for their money!! Highly highly recommend!!!

I'm sorry, my review isn't a good one du re to the reason . When I called for help, I said I needed a tow. My car cut off backing out of my driveway and was straddle the road I needed it tow back up in my driveway 15 feet my estimate distance. I asked what was the cost. The man the phone said he couldn't say for me to ask the driver when he got there. When the driver arrived within 30 minutes of my call as soon as he got out the truck I then asked him he said that was up to him he just drive the truck he have to call the owner. I then asked him if he had a jump box. I said if we can jump it He wou need to put up on the truck. First he said he didn't have a jump box, the driver then said he'll put on the truck and back it up in the my driveway.I told him that I couldn't get the car out of park to put it into neutral to even get it up on the truck. Then he retrieve a jump box from the truck. We jump the car and I drove it back in my drive myself. I didn't need a tow after all. I then asked much at was he call the owner and he said the said $70.00. I said $70.00 he said yes. I then said this is the reason I kept asking for a price from the beginning cause I could went another way gotten a jump from elsewhere for less than that. I then told the driver to tell the owner he does bad business,and I was going to leave this review and never use them again and tell anyone who will listen about them Gibby's Towing don't do business there. I read these reviews on this business I'm glad they had a good experience but as for me it further showed me why we don't support each other business, cause some business like this I'm done I'm doing business with whoever who does good business color don't matter to me I'm sicbof supporting black business with poor service.
I was drawn to Gibby's Towing because of their high review rating. Gibby's did not disappoint and completely lived up to their rating and reviews. They were able to respond to my call quickly to load my car on their truck. On the way to the dealership, I learned the owner of Gibby's responded to my call for assistance. Incredible customer service, very respectful and pleasant person to talk with on the drive. The truck was very clean which impressed me and was the first thing I noticed. Mr. Gibby takes pride in his company and it shows.
I used Gibbys before and they charged me $125.00 from Edinburgh Dr. In Chickasaw, services were great. Do to the rain I slid next to my power box into a moist area and became stuck he didn't quote a price. His driver and him began to text one another and he quoted me a price for $350.00 to pull me only 10ft away from out of the whole. He has nice trucks but very unprofessional and greedy. His driver told me to call Hub City and see what they charge next time.
Broke down on my way to work and needed a tow , so I called for pricing and it was very affordable . Trent was there literally in 15 minutes and it was storming , this young man didn't let the weather slow him down one bit . He was professional and courteous and got the job done quick . Now that's customer service at its finest . From now on ill always call Gibby's towing for my towing needs !!! And THANK YOU Trent !!!

Requested a tow this morning. Trent arrived before the scheduled appointment time. Very professional and respectful. Only issue was a black smear was left on inside door upholstery. However, I would definitely use them again.
Needed help getting my truck out of the mud. Tow truck driver was knowledgeable and professional. He had me back on the road quickly. The cost was very reasonable! Definitely recommend this business when you are in need of assistance!

Called Gibbys at 9:30 AM on a Friday to hopefully have my car seen before the end of the day. At 3 PM I called to see if they had got the car to the repair shop. He said he would check & call me back. I never heard back from them & needless to say my was finally picked up (quickly, I may add) by Bay City towing. Should have them first! CALL BAY CITY TOWING!
They arrived within 15 minutes. The guy was very friendly and polite. He got my issue fixed within minutes. This is the second time I have used Ginny’s and will continue to do so! Thank you very much.
If I could leave zero stars, I would! We called Gibby's and the person that answered the phone, started with a gruff hello, instead of saying the business name. That's should've been our sign not to use them. We let the person know where we were located and why we needed towing. He said it would be pricey, as the roads were bad, and my husband let him know we didn't mind paying the $150, and that we would pay in cash and tip him when he got to us. He said they would be at our location in 30-35 minutes.
30 minutes later, the tow truck shows up to our location with another vehicle on the back of the truck and completely passes our car that is stranded in THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD! My husband tried to flag the driver down, but he just kept on going. We then tried to call them to see when they were going to be coming to tow our car, but they never answered and never showed up. Our insurance company was able to locate an out of state towing company that was able to come tow our car and get us home safe.
We DO NOT recommend Gibby's ever!

Jay with Gibby’s Towing is a great guy who helped me out tremendously tonight. I got a flat after a pair of needle nose pliers got lodged in my back tire on Broad Street. He arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected (thank you!) and got me to Pep Boys just in time for them to fix my tire before they closed. Jay is very polite and professional. So glad he was working tonight.
If I ever need a tow truck this is who I will call! My friend broke down and the Driver was there in less than 20 minutes, helped us get our keys out of the storm drain…was so nice through it all, And reasonably priced for the distance. 10/10 I’d break down again.

He was so nice and helpful, poor thing was sweating up a storm yet still acted like he loved his job. The prices are great too! We’ll always call Gibby’s if we’re in a bind. Gibby’s was super fast even at nearly 6 on a Sunday evening. The truck was super clean and my driver Lorenzo was not only courteous and polite, he was kind. Rate was very reasonable and service was top notch. One of, if not the only awesome towing experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend supporting this local business and trusting them with your tow.
Once in my company car, I got stuck in the mud in the literal middle of no where Alabama. It’s was an awful experience, truly. Although the tow truck got to me quickly and they were very nice, I still quit this job a week later. But the next time I need a tow, I know who to call. Thanks again!
