I needed my car towed and service was excellent and they showed up fast. No long wait times and reasonable priced. Driver was friendly and very knowledgeable for the service I needed. Highly recommend
Tired calling several times with no response. When they did finally answer they said they would have driver call me back. No return call. Needless to say they didn't tow the car
Dispatch was quick to pickup vehicle. However, the price that he quoted me was different from what was charged to my car. I called to let him know but he wasn't to concerned. I want be using them a again.
I was in Texas and needed to get my daughter’s car towed to mechanic in Mobile. The first quote I got was $245! So I called Gibby’s. They gave me a fair price and did a great job.
I was on my way to work before day this morning and my car just gave out I had to get it towed ASAP!! Luckily Gibby’s answered swiftly, was very communicative and assured me that everything would be ok they picked my car up and towed it home for me while as at work for a very reasonable price! Thank you so much again!!
I had a horrible experience with them. The tow truck driver goes outside to get (paperwork) and pulls off and tells me that someone else is coming. He blocks my number and gives me a disconnected number to call.
every single time my warranty puts me with gibbys towiny im alwayd waiting 3+ hours. they do not answer their calls and will LITERALLY foward your calls to not answer you. this is my 4th time using them and i will ask not to be put with you guys again. they left me stranded on the side of the road for 4+ hours the first time i ever used them and i ended up having to call a whole different company.
Service was fine but I didn't receive a receipt from the driver. Over a week later I still can't get one to file for repayment from my insurance. I have contacted the office many times and still can't get a receipt from Gibbys. Could somebody help me? Am I going to have to drive to your office to get a receipt? What is the problem?
Obviously a lot of fake reviews. Was quoted to get my car pulled out of the mud. After they showed up they told me it was going to be more difficult for them so they wanted double $300 just for a pull out of the mud...well after they left I just drove it out of the mud on my own. When you're in need of help the last thing you want is someone to try to get extra money out of you. Call a reputable company.

This black owned business is AMAZING!! My bf & I got stuck in AL after having car troubles & they saved the day! Eddy was so kind & very helpful. Be careful. Some of the drivers will take it upon themselves to take your vehicle somewhere unauthorized and “fix it”. Which will only end up costing you $4400 to ACTUALLY fix(about $4000 to fix what was wrong before, and an additional $400 to replace the part they tore off with a screwdriver). They’ll take your money for the towing and even extra money for “fixing” your car. And even get a nice big discount at our family store for “helping”. But he said don’t tell boss man? Then your check engine light will come on. Then, they’ll ghost you.
They towed my truck to the shop in a timely manner and that’s where the good ends. I have asked for a detailed invoice for 2 weeks to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. They will not give me one. Talked to 2 different people and nothing. I even sent them all the info and they still will not give me one. I called the office and a very unprofessional person answered the phone and just said “send the info” and hung up. Texted one number and the person answered “huh?”!!! Beyond frustrated with something so very simple. And then the response below for me to contact them to resolve. I’ve called and texted multiple times already. They have all the info that I’ve sent to them twice. Just email me an invoice!!!!!
Very timely like within 30 minutes show up. Had to go from mobile, al to Gautier, ms. Very very reasonable pricing for that long of a haul and great service. Very friendly people that will help as much as possible and not out to try and kill or take people for their money!! Highly highly recommend!!!
I was drawn to Gibby's Towing because of their high review rating. Gibby's did not disappoint and completely lived up to their rating and reviews. They were able to respond to my call quickly to load my car on their truck. On the way to the dealership, I learned the owner of Gibby's responded to my call for assistance. Incredible customer service, very respectful and pleasant person to talk with on the drive. The truck was very clean which impressed me and was the first thing I noticed. Mr. Gibby takes pride in his company and it shows.
I used Gibbys before and they charged me $125.00 from Edinburgh Dr. In Chickasaw, services were great. Do to the rain I slid next to my power box into a moist area and became stuck he didn't quote a price. His driver and him began to text one another and he quoted me a price for $350.00 to pull me only 10ft away from out of the whole. He has nice trucks but very unprofessional and greedy. His driver told me to call Hub City and see what they charge next time.

Requested a tow this morning. Trent arrived before the scheduled appointment time. Very professional and respectful. Only issue was a black smear was left on inside door upholstery. However, I would definitely use them again.

Jay with Gibby’s Towing is a great guy who helped me out tremendously tonight. I got a flat after a pair of needle nose pliers got lodged in my back tire on Broad Street. He arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected (thank you!) and got me to Pep Boys just in time for them to fix my tire before they closed. Jay is very polite and professional. So glad he was working tonight.
If I ever need a tow truck this is who I will call! My friend broke down and the Driver was there in less than 20 minutes, helped us get our keys out of the storm drain…was so nice through it all, And reasonably priced for the distance. 10/10 I’d break down again.
My sister called me in a panic her little CRV just gave up on her, we called Gibby’s and Lorenzo might as well have worn a Superman cape he got there so quickly. He was so nice and helpful, poor thing was sweating up a storm yet still acted like he loved his job. The prices are great too! We’ll always call Gibby’s if we’re in a bind. Great company, Great service!
Once in my company car, I got stuck in the mud in the literal middle of no where Alabama. It’s was an awful experience, truly. Although the tow truck got to me quickly and they were very nice, I still quit this job a week later. But the next time I need a tow, I know who to call. Thanks again!
