Daughter goes to college in Alabama and we're in St. Louis. She was in an accident and bobs picked up the car and gave me an assessment of it and dropped it off at a shop for me. Super friendly and helpful! We need a Bob's in St Louis.

Michael was amazing! He was very professional and went above and beyond to make my absolutely horrible day better! He changed my tire which was not at all his responsibility like a boss and smiled while doing it! They were very reasonable on their price and got my vote for the best tow company around besides mims towing in clanton Al , a little bias there considering my back other works there, if you need a wrecker and you call anyone besides bobs (Michael) your bad get overcharged and have an okay experience if you wanna I will call bobs and have my frown turned upside down Thankyou so much Michael for all your help! Prompt, friendly, affordable service when my son’s vehicle needed a tow. Driver was kind and professional. Would definitely recommend Bobs Towing & Gas and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

We got into a car accident at 4:45am, not clearing the scene until around 6:00am
No rental place is open that early so we had to hangout with Michael as he did his job that morning. He was so nice and comforting after losing my car halfway across the country. He was the highlight of an awful experience.
Someone parked a vehicle On private property and I had a very hard time finding a tow company that would help me, but Bobs Towing called me right back and came out and removed the vehicle from our parking lot!
Called them for a tow that is 20 minutes away from my home. They gave me the run around for TWO WHOLE HOURS because there was a gap in communication on THEIR end. One of the employees called and told me he was on his way with my vehicle . i received a call from someone else 30 minutes later saying that he was on his way TO my vehicle. Then told me id still be charged the SAME PRICE for A 2 hour delay on THEIR end. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Would NOT recommend.
A while back I have had them towed vehicles for me and I had no problem. But the last three times I've called I've got a busy signal I don't know what the deal is
I really should have taken it as a sign yesterday when nobody answered the phone and a message said "This person has not set up their voice mailbox". --Person? Isn't it a 24-HOUR BUSINESS? What could need to have a mailbox more than THAT? But rather than call another company like I should have, I tried this one again later, got through and made arrangements to have my car towed to a shop. The guy arrived faster than quoted which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. After that it was just a mess. About 15 minutes after he left, I get a phone call, a man's voice just saying, "What was your name?" --I had NO idea who this was calling me, or why they were asking me my name. Turned out it was the tow guy, he was delivering my car and needed to give them my name. I asked if it wasn't on his copy of the towing receipt and he was like "OH YEAH!" --Um, first day or something? THEN apparently he told the shop he didn't have my phone number, even though HE JUST CALLED ME! So they didn't even look at my car and had no way of reaching me, until I called at 4:45 pm today (I was trying to be polite and not bug them earlier in the day). So, thanks to this extremely UNPROFESSIONAL tow company, a whole day was lost.
Pricing was reasonable and fair spoke with tow guy had to call him twice waited 2hrs before he made it to me. I will say he was respectful and very professional. Will use again just didn't like lack of communication.
Well there was a young kid under the age of 12 answering the phones and relaying messages. I had an appointment setup for 1pm today and he never showed up. I called Bob’s Towing multiple times and they did not return my call. I ended up calling a different service to pickup the truck.
Whats the point of being 24hrs when you don’t know how to answer the phone an when you do you put said customer on hold an eventually hang up on them. Don’t bother wasting your time with these guys.
I made an appointment at noon for a tow at 5:00 p.m. and gave location and vehicle information. They said all was good. I tried to call a few minutes before 5:00 as a reminder. No answer. At 5:45 with no truck in sight called to find they were not even in route. They promised to come then. But then went to the the wrong location, even though I clearly gave the exact location on the initial call and at 5:45. (At 6:30 I gave up and called The Gun Towing.) Never again will I consider Bob's. They are just too dysfunctional.
My son had a bad wreck in Mobile, Alabama on Wednesday. He had his car towed to a repair shop that day. We needed to get his car from Mobile to Hattiesburg, Ms but we couldn't find anyone to drive that far without charging an arm plus 1 leg. I called Bob's towing and he was so nice and helpful over the phone and gave me a steal of a price. Thank you guys so very much for all you do. I was having to call from Hattiesburg and arrange this and he made it so easy. The gentleman who delivered my car was so sweet and professional! I will always recommend this company to everyone around! Thank you once again!
I used Bob's Towing twice last year when I broke down on the interstate and again this past Wednesday when my battery died. Each time they were fast, dependable and honest. I know I'll end up needing to be towed again at some point since we keep buying Fords and I'll definitely be using Bob's.
Called to get a tow, quoted 45 minutes and $75 bucks. 90 minutes later they showed up and still wanted $75 for the tow and didn't care they had taken double the time. I was only being towed ¼ of a mile, they could've taken $10 off. Called Hero's and they were there in 20 minutes and a heck of a lot cheaper
Called on a Sunday morning to have my car towed. Guy took a little longer than he said he would to come meet me but not by a whole lot and I don't blame him at all. He was really cool, really friendly and really good at his job. Would definitely recommend to anyone. I just wish I could remember his name so I could give him a shout out.
Michael is such a polite well mannered man. I would recommend Bob's Towing to all of my family and friends. My son in law and his little family broke down and I was concerned about them. Michael made me feel comfortable knowing he was on the way to them and I did not have to leave work. He was the only tow service that I called out of 3 that answered my call. The others I was greeted with a voicemail. He picked up the car and the kids and took them home. AND the price was awesome! Thank you Michael. Makes me feel wonderful to know you are here in Mobile providing such professional service :)
I called Bob's on the morning of 3/15/2019 about 7am. The gentleman picked up and could not have been nicer. I explained to him that my daughter got into an accident at USA and needed her car to go to the local Toyota dealership. He told me a fair price and a time, which he was early for, and did exactly what he said. Keep in mind that I am in Birmingham and did this over the phone. Would recommend this service to any and everyone!!!

These folks don't even deserve ONE star, but I had to give it one to be able to post this. Called at 3 p.m., broken down on my way from Mississippi to Florida. Told me 1 hour. Called back after 1.5 hours; told me 30 minutes. Called back in another 2 hours. Got voice mail--they were CLOSED. They never called, never came. I could have gotten my vehicle to Mobile Honda and had it diagnosed in the several hours I waited for nothing. Ended up calling Pitts Towing and they were great. Bob's needs to improve or will go out of business.
