They're always super nice and helpful. And you can unload the stuff from your vehicle and put it in the bin. They take a lot of stuff and unlike most places you don't have to separate your items
FYI THEY ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING GLASS!! The guy was really nice about it because there were definitely glass bottles in my stuff but we sorted it all. NO GLASS AT THIS LOCATION
I want to recycle because I care about it. it doesn’t make sense that they won't let me do it because of my zip code. There is no recycling place near where I live and I am taking all the garbage in my car to do it, then I drive there and leave it in my car. The woman didn't let me do it! Really ?
Very fast and efficient. Attendant advised and assisted in the process and gave us good advice about acceptable and non-acceptable items. In and out efficiently. Thank you, City of Mobile, for providing these much needed facilities!
They have recycling for just about everything , including glass and plastic bags. I have a lot less garbage to throw out now, and I feel good about that .
Single-stream city recycling center here is very convenient and easy. You collect every type in one receptacle and dump it in here all together. Usually very helpful attendant here. Today was closed on a Tuesday during regular business hours without warning--no sign on the fence nor the attendant trailer-office, nor notice online that I could find, due to TS Gordon. This is the new way to recycle, less time consuming than what is required at the county facility on Hitt Road, but not as much space to get in there, just one opening on each side of the fence. Also a Mobile water company grease recycling drop to keep used cooking oil from being poured down the drain into the water supply and mucking things up.
Wow, what service! A friendly employee onsite to keep it professional. And much closer to my area of the city. They take all my recyclables except the plastic bags. I take those to the grocery store.
