They're respectful, efficient and professional. One thing that I find useful is their system where they allow you to use a keychain card to assist in finding your account easier for them. That's nifty. If only I hadn't lost it....
Southern recycling prices are always good on buying scrap so I'm not complaining at all about that they always pay top dollar.
Southern recycling will only take a hard copy driver's license they will not take a passport or a paper copy driver's license or temporary rather. Which I think is b******* I can fly to China but I can't sell scrap in Alabama.
Fast and easy. Go over the scale, back into the spot they tell (ask of you don't know, they will tell you), go back around to the scale, get your ticket, go to the building next door and cash out.
I have only taken shred so I can't speak for how the non ferrous is, but I will be checking it next trip.
The only negative was a weirdo staring at me while I unloaded, asked if the toaster oven I had was a microwave, I said it is not. Instead of taking my answer he just kept walking around my trailer, and staring at the toaster oven. Very weird.
They are thieves I took a 600pound load of aluminum they told me it was iron gave me 60 bucks guys where talking Spanish they didn't know I spoke Spanish when I told them I wanted my stuff back they had already took it i told the front office she told me she couldn't do anything about ot sad sad I went next weekend to another scrap yard and they paid me the correct way and told me it was aluminum not iron
Awesome place friendly, the best prices all around mobile. Fast in and out easy going everyone has a beautiful smile on there face while working or out of yard bezt place to do all your recycling
Robbed me of over 1000 lbs on multiple occasions it is very petty to treat customers as such. I brought in a vehicle with a weight of 3700lbs then loaded it with 1000lbs of steel. To obtain a total offloaded weight of 2800 lbs. Then the market rate was also a dollar short this trip in.
Idk what the Tyler is talking about. Been going there for 5 years with ALL my metal. Especially copper and brass. The other local scrap yards bring the scrap they buy to southern.. What's that tell you. Just call around and compare what they pay verses others in the area. See for yourself
