Absolutely wonderful experience. Got my car fixed, quick fast and in a hurry! The staff is the best! I couldn't be happier! My wife and I started coming here and have never had an issue once. The work is top notch and they're pricing is fair and reasonable. The staff truly go above and beyond to help their clients. The work seems to be good, and that's important, but the office side left a little to be desired. I was given the impression it would be quick, "we'll call you tomorrow" which I needed since it was my work truck. Long story short the guy left off the last digit of my phone number and couldn't contact me (kinda important detail, but mistakes happen). I wonder what they would have done if I had never called to check on the truck. After a couple weeks, I communicated my frustration with the how long it was taking and was told that they were "the busiest shop in Auburn", no apology. I totally get having a back log of work, but having a better idea of timing would have allowed me to plan better for not having a key part of my small business. 4 weeks. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this wasn't their best work, cause they had good recommendations from a few friends.
My AU student had a problem with the A/C in his car. He took it in and found the compressor had gone out. Joe was very accommodating explaining to him what the problem was. We were able to have the repair completed the same day. He also advised of some maintenance due which was taken care of as well.
It was a fantastic experience from Jackson the manager until my guy Richard that replaced my alternator in about an hour at the end of their workday. What a blessing.
Tiger Auto was extremely helpful when I had a blowout on my boat trailer near Auburn. Wade found me a suitable rim and replaced my tire also greasing the hub as the cap was destroyed by the blowout. Super service to a traveler with no connection to the local area. Well done!
The guys at Tiger were so kind and polite. They weren’t able to repair the tire and they didn’t have a replacement in stock, but they ordered the tire for me and stayed in communication with me to make getting the car back over quick and easy. My son’s work schedule is about the same as their store hours, but because they had everything ready before he came back, he was able to get it all taken care of in just a few minutes. The guys at Tiger Tire were so considerate of our time and our budget that I will always use them as long as I have a child at Auburn.
Perfect service. Called for a tow with a flat, tow arrived quickly and then checked/replaced tire within a few hours. Great communication and customer service.
Wanted bigger tires, went from 35’s to 37’s. Ordered the 37’s and Tiger Tire installed them. Tires were too big, and no one from the company informed us. They just installed them then told me I basically need more work done to avoid scrubbing the new tires.
No integrity! No expertise advice until after the installation.. Just very disgusting.

I took my Ford F150 in to have a new oil pan gasket installed a few weeks ago. They completed the work really fast and for what I thought was a great price. A week later I drove my truck close to 300 miles to visit a friend. After I moved my truck the next day I couldn't find a drop of oil anywhere. Thanks for doing a great job!
The owner of Tiger Tire owns multiple garages in the area, I prefer using tiger tire as their quotes are always less than his other shops. Don’t know why but it’s a grace for a bunch of hard-working families that can use that little bit of a discount. Thx

My experience with Tiger Tire and auto in Auburn,Ala. was profoundly disappointing and has resulted in a complete loss of trust.I initially brought my 1992 Chevrolet Silverado for a "no start" issue. They diagnose and replace the fuel pump, assuring me via text that this would resolve the problem.
However, upon picking my vehicle up on May13,2025, the truck exhibited severe issue including rough surging idling, engine stalling out, and non functioning fuel gauge- all while still on their property.This clearly indicated the original issue was not resolved, and a new problem had appeared after their service. Despite these obvious malfunction, I was told the truck was ready and operative.
Compounding these issues, the shop's communication and honesty were severely lacking.
(1) Shifting Diagnosis: After the failed repair, I was vaguely informed of additional problems (in-need of a odometer cluster, and a tune-up) by service adviser Jackson Hadaway(May 13,2025), and another staff member suggested a electrical shortage on May 14.2025. Crucially,none of these new diagnosis were based on any actual diagnostic work by the shop.
(2) Inflated and Deceptive Towing Charges: I was charged $200.00 for the initial tow to their shop. Service Adviser Jackson Hadaway and another staff member claimed the towing company( Tiger Towing of Opelika, Ala.) had invoiced them for $200.00. However, I later confirmed directly with Tiger Towing that their actual invoice to Tiger Tire and Auto was only $150.00. This blatant discrepancy is clear evidence of dishonesty and deceptive billing practices.
(3) Confusing Veteran Discount: My attempt to understand their veteran discount revealed more inconsistency. A staff member gave one explanation ( based on parts and labor cost),while management(Joe Jordan) stated it was 10%, but with very confusing specifics. The complete absent of any visible signage or clear written policy for this discount highlights a lack of transparency.
Given their failure to correctly diagnose and fix the initial problem,the appearance of new issues after their work and their highly questionable billing practices. I have completely lost confidence in this auto shop. I am currently pursuing a full refund for their unsatisfactory and potentially damaging service.
I urge other consumers to exercise extreme caution before trusting Tiger Tire and Auto with their vehicle. Michael S.

We have been using Tiger Tire since we moved to Auburn in 2013. We would not use anyone else. They are always friendly and do great work and are so honest. We highly recommend them for any vehicles.

Tiger Tire is terrific! Friendly staff, honest, great work, and very fast. Wade was so helpful when I had a flat tire. He worked with my timing and situation and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I highly recommend them.
Very efficient and really were concerned that I was getting the best bang for my buck. When I had to have a sensor replaced, they gave me both the aftermarket price as well as the price from the car dealership. They completed the job in a very timely manner as well as I was pleased with the price. It’s a little bit out of my way, but well worth it for the service and professionalism you receive.

Tiger Tire & Auto is competent and honest with invoicing. The guys at the front desk are sometimes a little into jargon and somewhat unprofessional. But overall, they do a good job and are not deceptive at all, like so may car shops are.
I had a vehicle with a head gasket and valve rocker arm repair done by Tiger Tire and Automotive at 98,111 miles. The vehicle now has 102,328 miles on it. After only 4,217 miles, the repair had already failed. The third party inspector from the warranty company stated “Very poor resurface job was attempted on heads and block. Surface is uneven and gouged/wavy. Looks like grinder was used to resurface them.”. I have reached out to seek some resolution but have not been offered any help on the repair. I have attached the pictures and third-party inspection done by the warranty company. This kind of work should NOT be accepted in the automotive industry.

I love working with Jackson at Tiger tire. I brought my RV in because I was having a check engine situation - code said leak in emission system. They were unable to find the leak. But they checked all my belts and hoses, the suspension, and my tires. I ended up needing 2 front tires and upon his recommendation, I got a ten ply tire that was not super expensive. It drives SO much better now. The one complaint I have is following through on sending me pictures of the old tires. I try to understand the details of issues with my vehicles and want to know why things need to be done. Awesome place to get tires!
This is a great place to get tires and auto service. They didn’t have my size tires but were able to get them next day. I also got an oil change while they had my car. The people there are great.
