A few of my friends & I came antiquing today & my sugar started to bottom out (I have sugar issues) & one of the sweet ladies at the front went to her car to get me her own personal snacks! Such a sweet lady. And on my birthday too :)
I've been here twice and have found some good finds. You need to make sure you have plenty of time to browse because the place is massive. Some vendors are very ehhhh, but some have great items. I would say prices are better than other antique stores in the area and the employees are friendly.
One of the largest antique malls in this area but the four or five times I’ve visited, I haven’t purchased the first thing. The prices are astronomically high.
Large, clean soace with much to look through. Serves it's purpose, but for those looking for things newer than the 90s, like I was look elsewhere. Most items priced to market.
Irondale Pickers is fun to browse through. I was looking for a specific type of furniture, and they had several options. We always enjoy a look around this store when we visit family in Birmingham.
Good indoor flea market. Booths are hit and miss. Prices are high but that is probably a product of having to recoup high booth fees. If you have time to be thorough, you may find some deals.
Time spent with wife and daughter. You can find a lot of different items, some from years past but not antique. Some may be from estate sales that were left. I have a friend that was the 1st Female engineer on an oil rig for Gulf Oil. I found a set of 10 glasses with different scenes of old Gulf Oil gas stations, and she loved it.
Ironside Pickers is a supermassive place with hundreds of booths, each with their own unique flavor of items available for sale. There is something for everyone here, and at any budget. Crafts, music CDs, antiques, movies, video games, sports related items, and so much more await!
The store was clean (as were the restrooms), and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is more than enough parking available, including spots for handicapped, veterans, and expectant mothers. Shopping carts are available, too.
Store is rather nice but couldn’t believe a hour before closing there announcing we’re closing promptly at 6……Everyone in the store headed for the doors. We just thought it was kinda rude.
One of my 3 favorites in the area. Large variety of booths and merchandise. I always come prepared with snacks and a drink because I will be here for a minimum of 3 hours. There is always so much to see!
We weren't expecting this place to be as large as it was but we were very happy to have found it. It's very clean and most of the booths were well organized and easy to get around in. There was a ton of variety and almost none of the cheap, pre-packaged things you see at some places. We will absolutely be back with a larger vehicle next time.
I've been to 4 of the Pickers locations and this one is pretty great. There's a large selection of items from new to antique and handmade. Not all vendors are overly priced as I was searching for a new dining table set and this is the only location I found multiple options in my budget. The store is clean and well organized and the staff is friendly. We will definitely be back to this Pickers location.
If you need some historical entertainment, step inside this store, and you will be enamored with memory lane. There is so much to observe, and you WILL find something of interest to take home with you! My office at my home is ornamented with antiques. Thanks, Irondale Pickers!
This place is huge! Soo much variety and great prices! I love antiquing and this will be one of my new favorite stops! The staff was nice and the music was nice. I found the most beautiful vintage cake plate, a large heart cookie cutter, and a decorative Christmas plate.
A great place to find many hidden treasures. Plan to expend at least 2 hours to see all the many diferents stands ,here are some pictures of this magic place💯🏆🥰
I find something most every visit to this large antique mall. Located in an old Walmart, this store is clean and the prices are generally reasonable. A few of the items I’ve found here over the years are furniture, art, linens, toys, records, and tools.
Always find the most amazing items here. Prepare to spend a few hours, it will take b that long to peruse the hundreds of booths in this wonderful place.
Found a couple of owl lamps on my visit this past weekend. Brought them home and made some shades for them, and couldn't be more pleased!
This is a deceptively large antique mall. The overwhelming majority of the stalls are actually antique or at least vintage. There are some booths that sell newer or made items, most of which seem to be at least the quality you would expect them to be. There are a few booths scattered throughout with old/antique tools in them. If you want to find any Southern Living annual recipe cookbook for the last 30 years or so, there are probably 50 copies of each scattered throughout the store. It's certainly large enough to allow for a lot of people to adequately social distance.
I love these types of stores that have unique and individual booths. If you look, you will find something! I found a lot of neat things. I collect vintage cameras and Precious Moments pieces. I found both at excellent prices. I also bought a chifferobe for $75. I could have spent an entire day here but that’s me. Thank you to the kind gentleman who loaded it into my truck - you are so sweet and I appreciate you!
I went to today's grand opening and spent a wonderful 2 hours browsing. I found some great deals and a couple of the booth owners were on site and it was nice talking with them about their treasures. I look forward to visiting again when the store is at full capacity.
