They specialize in light, medium, and heavy duty towing and use a range of different trucks to best serve its customer. Hurst Towing’s fleet currently consists of 22 trucks and trailers. We currently employ 19 drivers, 3 office workers, and 4 night and weekend dispatchers.

I was leaving a concert around 12pm and I finally had my biggest fear..I caught a flat tire on the highway! I called 911 and they sent a police out to assist me, the police recommended Hurst! I called Hurst and spoke with a nice guy to ask how much was it to tow me to a hotel or home which was an hour away. The guy on the phone quoted me a price to take me home, I was destined to make it home because I had work at 6am! The guy at hurst called me back 5 mins later and informed me my driver DJ would like to see if he could plug my tire first before I hit the link to pay for towing. I didn’t know they offer that service, which I love that they offer me that because that goes to show they care about what’s best for the customer!! Mr. DJ arrived and he was the most heaven sent person!!!! He was sooo sweet & nice and he answered all my questions without getting irritated, I’m sure he knew I was nervous by being on the side of the road! He patched my tire up & inform me I ran over a metal piece. He followed me to the next exit to make sure the tire was going to be good for my hour drive; he rechecked it & told me to be safe! Him being there made me less nervous and i was very thankful! Let me say DJ arrived under 20 mins for when I initially called them and he patched me up quick as well!! I made it home and was able to make it to work, I just started and didn’t want to miss it! DJ texted me the next day to make sure I made it to my destination and that alone warmed my heart to know it’s still good people in the world!! My biggest fear turned out not being so bad after all!!! ( I had my mother on the phone and she 10 out of 10 recommend them!!)
Hurst Towing truly helped Acipco FCU today. We encountered a difficult situation involving our collateral, and one call to Hurst made all the difference! The lady who answered the phone was incredibly kind and professional. She not only shared valuable information but also offered a few laughs to ease the situation.
Within minutes, we were scheduled for a pick-up, which helped resolve many obstacles we have faced during this particular case.. 10/10 recommend!
The driver that picked up my daughter's car, after she flipped it and rolled it, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Some of the things he said in front of me to her I can't post here.
The office staff was meh.
The gentleman that helped us on the lot, however, was exceptionally polite and very helpful.

Semi with loaded trailer broke down on I 65 at 10:00 p m. Called Hurst wrecker service and night service person, Chris, was the most accommodating person I’ve ever talked with. Had a wrecker to us after calling in a tow driver to assist us. Lake came with SUPER TOW TRUCK, worked very hard in sweltering temperatures, and in no time we were at a truck repair shop. These two men are an asset to any company, but HURST TOWING AND WRECKER SERVICE, have them. On a scale of 1-10. They are at 100! Thank you all for your kindness and appreciate you.
Brian was awesome and very personable when he answered the phone. Gave an estimated 30-45 mins response time. I was on the shoulder of the interstate and Daniel or “DJ” got there in around 20ish minutes. Daniel was also very personable and down to earth. Both very helpful in a very stressful situation, very thankful for these guys.
Of all the towing companies I dealt with in Birmingham, this is the one I highly recommend. Even though they could not help me with my problem they still went out of their way to help me. And on top of that Amanda, thier dispatcher, went out of here way and still called me to make sure if I was ok. If that is not great service, I don't know what is.
Mark & Tommy are probably the best guys on the team, very efficient and kind. These guys will go out of their way to help you. Funny & genuine people, couldn’t ask for better customer service than this company. Very high recommended!

I was in a tight spot and they really helped me by just removing me from the roadway for a small fee rather than towing all the way to the shop witch would have cost several hundred dollars. Garret was very attentive and diligent was safely done in no time.

These people went out of their way to help me after my son wrecked on Saturday night. They knew I had been in the emergency room with him all night with no sleep and we needed to get some of his things like his phone out of the car and it was very early like 6 AM on Sunday morning. Some wonderful man got up and came and let us in the gate to get our stuff. And today when we came in to get it Michelle, Beverlee and Brian showed so much compassion and kindness that I actually teared up. When your world seems to be caving in around you , strangers who have nothing to gain from you , go the extra mile it’s saying something about their character. These wonderful people showed me they have integrity and I highly recommend these folks. I will definitely call them if I need a tow again!
I had an urgent request for commercial towing in Oneonta AL, I spoke with Daniel on the phone . He got Matt out there who made it in a timely manner. Corrected the problem quickly . Hurst was the only ones that would come out and had the capability to do what I needed . Great company and business.
Can't recommend enough! Not only did they manage to tow my old truck that's been sitting up for thirty years with two SEVERELY flat tires, but they managed to back it through my back gate on the first try with only inches to spare. These guys are GOOD!

Cory came out to give me a tow after I broke down due to a ball joint falling out and I couldn’t have asked for a better driver. He was the friendliest guy I’ve probably ever met and he just has a friendly attitude. If I could give him a 15/10 then I most definitely would and if it’s needed I will make sure to call hurst again
Our 26’ Freightliner M2 had a trans fluid leak. Hurst towing and Recovery was sent out Popcorn (Keith) whose arrival time was impeccable, he literally pulled up no less than 10 minutes after I received the text with an eta of 60 mins. Once he arrived the truck was in the air in a matter on mins, no less than 30 mins job was done and rolling towards maintenance shop. If anyone wants great customer service, ask for popcorn. Thanks for the help Keith!

It was such a delightful day 9-20-24 to see Hurst Towing Autism Tow Truck over near Roebuck area in Alabama I was so excited that I had to follow the truck so that I could get a picture The driver Logan was so kind and gave me permission. This Company representing such a wonderful cause make my heart glad. I hadn’t seen a puzzle truck since I was in Charleston West Virginia a year ago.
