Went to look at some parts that were described as in good condition, with decent pricing. Go to find out that every part is damaged and that they're trying to upcharge me by selling me a connected part that they don't want to take off. They offer me a different price if i go and pull it myself, which isn't really a deal because they don't have any service cost to deal with anymore. Got out of there and got new parts off ebay for a few bucks more. Tread with caution.
Ordered a transmission and within a day they had it pulled and ready. I got it home and it bolted right up and worked perfectly. Price was unbeatable as well. 10 outta 10 would recommend!!!
Frankie's have totally changed over the years...they reached a point in money that they didn't care about ppl......I had my money in hand a the guy chase, didn't care about pulling the parts,even though I asked him to two hours earlier before I got off work...... were Frankie at!!!!!!
Gave my sister an estimate of 200 dollars over the phone, then took advantage of my 70 year old mother who went there and tacked on 70 more dollars. Dishonest and shameful.
Gave me the wrong part. Had to pay just to be told it was the wrong part. Took a worker to make sure it was the right part. Would not compensate me for the labor lost. Didn't ask for time and gas. It's the principle. Will not go back.
Ive have been going up there since 8am , because it says 8am-3pm SATURDAY'S. But i got a bad alternator and now i cant exchange it til monday because they didnt open today. Upset because this is my second alternator i got from them now i need a third, an cant even get it.
I don't usually go to smaller shops like this, I'm more into franchised facilities. However Frankie's might have just changed where I go now. They were super friendly and helpful, and gave me a really solid, fair price! Keep up the good work you guys, I'll definitely be back!
I was in search of a replacement window. This was the only place that had the window in Alabama. I came to pick up the window and “Little Frankie” was unable to properly remove the window and it shattered. I then asked if they could help me put a bag on the window (since it was raining and I no longer could get the window) and “Little Frankie” couldn’t even do that task for me. He told me “if he was a glass man then he could help me but he’s not”. The owner was very nice and respectful but the son was extremely rude and unable to do anything. Overall very bad experience.
This gentleman did me a solid on a part that no one else had. The housing was broken but I just needed the guts and he didn't want any payment for the part because he felt like he couldn't charge me for a broken part.
