Initially, I was impressed with the size of the new store and inventory but music being played throughout the store and even outside - was ENTIRELY TOO LOUD. In fact, I left before making the purchases I drove over an hour to make. It was not a pleasant experience whatsoever. Not only was the music irritating, the speakers were terrible quality and not intended for playing music. I have never experienced anything like this in a place of business, in my life. I will spend my money somewhere with a more welcoming atmosphere.
New location. It's bigger and easier to shop, but they didn't have the A/C working yet and it was hot! They did say that they were working to get it up and running which will make a more favorable shopping experience. They always have lemonade and water at the register, which is great after shopping the entire salvage store. I know several of the people who work there and it's fun to see what new arrivals are out and they often have really good prices on the sale items they show in the main aisle. I lucked out and got 2 lights for my brick pillars that mark my driveway for $8.00 each! They are a decent brand and I have installed one so far and it looks so much better than the old ones from 1969! I also found some tile and an engineered wood flooring that I am thinking about using for the main floor of my house for a repair that was necessary due to a plumbing company flooding my house. Insurance doesn't give you a real-life budget, so places like Southeastern are necessary for those of us who don't want to put any more of our money in repairs. I hate to have to cut corners, but I am a widow who has managed to stay in the family home and I am on a budget..Also, I can't live through the whole sand, stain, and seal process of installing real hardwood floors. Overall, I enjoyed shopping and we left with a truck full of goodies! I can't wait to go back and enjoy A/C while shopping. I get too hyper to not have air conditioning when I am bargain shopping! I added some photos of the good bargains as we had fun looking at everything.
Love the new location with all the extra space. The store manager Rick was so helpful assisting us while we shopped for kitchen cabinets. My only complaint was the lack of AC. We couldn’t stay as long as we wanted because of the heat. I don’t ever remember the old location being that hot. I’ll have to wait until later in the fall when it’s cooled off before I return.
Huge is an understatement! They have a massive selection of home goods. Furniture, Kitchen Appliances, Bathroom Appliances full remodel capabilities, Flooring. A real must see! Go early because it's HOT inside!
I can't say enough about my experience of returning and repurchasing cabinets. What I thought would be a problem was made so easy so easy by Lisa, one of the managers. She was very kind, competent and concerned about my shopping experience. The cabinets I purchased I am going to really enjoy. Thank you Lisa and Southeastern Salvage.
My brand new Subaru from River Town was scrapped by someone who, of course, did not stick around or come back in to the restaurant and offer restitution.
If you're a DIY'r and want to save some potential money, go by here before you start a project. Especially if you need flooring, cabinets, or fixtures. They might not have what you want, but if they do, you'll save some bucks.
Drove all this way for AGGRAVATION!! Omgoodness if you want to be in business you have to keep your customers comfortable while shopping in your store! IT'S TOO HOT IN THERE TO EVEN CONSIDERABLY SHOP!!! The only people in AC is the front office area that bring zero revenue into your store!! That heat in there is disrespectful and OVERPRICED! Seriously what happened to the IRONDALE location with competitive prices and a cool store throughout your shopping visit??? YOU MUST want to keep every item you've stocked at those prices which is why Online is winning! Do better towards us (your customer's) we came to support your establishment and the heat so bad we left!! Check your cameras you have more leaving empty than anything.smh

This place is absolutely magical. I always go here and wind up buying something I need and things I don't need. This is like the perfect blend of Hobby Lobby and Home Depot.
So much to offer at such great prices! Whether you already have a home project in mind or are looking for inspiration, this is a great place to start! The retail space is a working warehouse, so keep any little ones close. My 6 year-old was enthralled with so much to see, including operating forklifts that I needed to steer him clear of. The staff was friendly and helpful.
My new favorite! It's all of the best qualities of Lowes/ Home Depot and atHome/ Kirkland's combined. It's Ollie's on a grander scale without the general merchandise and adding furniture galore! A+++
On a whim I figured I’d stop in to see what they have. Sure enough they had the small area rug I was lookin for. Not to mention it was $6 cheaper than bargain hunt too! This store is everything home improvement and interior/exterior decor. I recommend u checkin it out!
Really cool place, a lot of unique items as well as your normal decor stuff. I was surprised at how affordable the items were. It also seems like the quality was good as well, many many solid wood items, not the OSB flimsy stuff from department stores. I definitely want to go back and look for more finds.
Always find something cute and unique when I shop here. Really enjoy perusing what they’ve got, you never know what they’ll have. Great prices on beautiful rugs! Found this one for under $50. Love this place.
It has a variety of items that can satisfy your creative needs. A lot of specialty items, unique salvage fixtures, unfinished cabinets , butcher block countertops, marble tiles, etc. The service can be hit or miss sometimes and the prices aren't as good as they once were. But if you're a craftsman or do-it-yourselfer you can find a lot to work with here.
Very nice store! You can decorate your entire home with this one store! So much to choose from! The manager is very knowledgeable about her merchandise & they don't have it, they'll order it.
