I recently took my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 to Gardendale Wholesale Transmission for a transmission replacement. The first transmission they installed was faulty, which is somewhat understandable since it was a used part. However, the replacement transmission they sent was incorrect, causing a two-week delay—all due to Knox Auto. Gardendale Wholesale has been transparent throughout this process and has made it clear that the issues are entirely the fault of Knox Auto Parts. Unfortunately, Knox Auto has not offered any compensation, apology, or effort to make things right. Gardendale wholesale is not at fault they have been nothing but great this entire process .
I had a good experience here. The people who I personally dealt with were all nice and informative. I got an automatic transmission and after I got it in it wouldn't work. I took the speed sensor off the one I pulled out and put it on the one I got here and it is shifting so smoothly with the Royal Purple ATF. I would definitely do business here again.
Order part from vehicle on lot. Even though short staffed and behind on pulling parts kept me informed the entire time. Part was exactly as described. Did transaction entirely over phone and pickup on person.
Will gladly do business with them again. Much different experience than I had as a kid where we had to pick our on part and search for vehicles ourselves.
If you are a professional body shop or car rebuilder you might want to think twice about shopping here. As they cut wires rather than unplugging them and don't fulfill the order completely. Unprofessional at best.

I purchased a used transmission in November 2020. Was sent a bad transmission. Knox took care of the problem. Picked up the old(core)transmission. Was told core charge would go back to my card after they picked it up. Contacted Scott several times to take care of the situation. It’s May 25, 2021 and I still haven’t got my refund. Tired of calling to see why I haven’t got it. So, I’m posted this review to let people know I didn’t get my “Core” return fee as stated.
10 out of 10 would not recommend working here or doing business their parts pull her in the yard if he can't find the right part he gets something that looks close to it the people for the most part are decent but 10 out of 10 would not recommend
I SPOKE TO A PERSON REGARDING AN ENGINE FOR A CAR COME ON PEOPLE OWNERS IF YOUR POLICY IS THAT WE AS YARD HAVE TO GIVE YOU CORES FOR ENGINES AND ON TOP BE RESPONSIBLE TO SHIP IT ACROSS 3 STATES YOU'RE IN THE WRONG BUSINESS A HAPPY CUSTOMER WOULDN'T DO THIS A DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER TAKES THE TIME TO WRITE THE REVIEW REGARDING THE EXPERIENCE HE HAD I WAS WILLING TO PAY ALMOST $1700 FOR AN ENGINE AND YOUR SALES PERSON RATHER NOT SELL IT JUST BECAUSE ON A CORE THAT YOU CAN'T PICK UP PERFECT ATTITUDE
B&D was a way better place to deal with. I called to get some interior pieces for a door... they sell good doors whole which is understandable... I asked to buy a wrecked door that had the pieces I need... “we don’t sell wrecked doors” apparently this place has so much money they don’t need to make any! Will never recommend nor buy anything from them!
Very knowledgeable staff... Scott is a very helpful guy... They did not have the part I was looking for and they found it for me... Got a real good deal... I will definitely be back
