Believe they’re closing up as was told none of their equipment is operational, sign says closed for maintenance but guy says he’s unsure when they’ll reopen. Says it you catch at the right time they may take your stuff. Worse part they won’t open door or answer phone even thought you see them inside. Generally pretty good folks but something’s going on that ain’t good.
I cashed in a bunch of scrap this morning that I had completely separated. I had four different items, electric motors, aluminum coils, copper coils, and compressors after feeling like I didn’t get near what I’ve gotten it other scrapyards I decided to call around and realized these are the lowest scrap prices in the Auburn, Opelika, Phoenix city area. I would really like to use Teague because they are close to my house but I will definitely make the trip when I can get $.30 a pound for electric motors instead of $.15 $.20 a pound for aluminum coils instead of $.10. $1.30 a pound for copper coils instead of $1.05 and $.25 a pound for compressors instead of $.10.
I am a local guy through and through and I want to support those in my community as long as they are fair. I tried to contact the office, but no one will answer so I leave my review here in hopes to help the next guy

They don't pay u wate they give you what they wont to give u . Only hard what its worth when Columbus pays u .65 for cans they only haft . On every thing I don't like to b ripoff!!!!!!!
