These folks were recommended by my mechanic in Jefferson County, AL. Have received nothing but good service from them. First time was a referral to a mobile diesel mechanic. Today was a diagnosis and a warranty battery.
Customer service not great. Tried to return a part, I didn’t have a receipt unfortunately because they never gave me one to begin with. And the part has NAPA (brand name) labeled all over the packaging and they refused to take the return since I didn’t have a receipt. Mind you the package was not even opened & in showroom condition! I was returning it to swap it out with a different part… again they refused it. I asked if they can return it with a 20 percent re-stocking fee, they said no… I asked even a 50% re-stocking fee? They said no…
They are absolutely not willing to work with you.
I don’t know another business that operates this way let alone the packaging having NAPA written all over it! I was so furious I refuse to ever walk back into their store. Advance Auto Parts & other local part stores will forever have my business. It’s really unfortunate…

Down here on vacation and my expedition threw a check engine light. The local Ford dealer couldn’t read the check engine code for several days. Called Napa and spoke to a super friendly fella named Mark who said he would be glad to scan it for me which he did. Turned out to be nothing to be immediately concerned with. Huge thanks to these guys!

The customer service at the store is absolute trash. I went in this morning on a Saturday morning a little before 8 AM to purchase a tail light and get some help putting it in real quick. Napa has always helped me do this. The extremely lazy gentleman took 2 to 3 minutes to even mosey to the front counter to help me. Then informed me that they couldn’t do that. I explained to him that I know that’s not true, as I’ve had help doing this multiple times in the past. Then he proceeded to tell me that ..well he’s the only one there so again he just wouldn’t be able to help me. At that point I decided to take my business elsewhere. This would’ve taken all of five to ten minutes start to finish, and there was not another soul in that store.
This business takes advantage of tourist and locals in many ways. 1st the prices are ridiculously inflated. 2nd they charge a Service Fee of 3.75% just to use your credit or debit card. 3rd I was told my core for a battery purchase was refunded to my card when I walked in the door and was taken care of. However, when I requested proof, it was found to be a "mistake" and a refund was issue. Funny thing they needed my card to do the refund! So how would they credit for the core before like I was told? I was told when I pulled up to the store I was recognized and the core refund was applied. Basic they scam and card ridiculously high fee to to purchase items all ready over priced. I'll never visit this NAPA again! Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Foley to get parts.
This NAPA Auto parts store was very helpful. When I walked in I was greeted by the employee and asked if he could help me find anything. I said as a matter of fact I'm looking for a starter for my Mitsubishi Lancer 2002. As he looked up the part on the computer it gave me a chance to look around. The store itself was very clean and very organized. The prices were within reason for cleaning products, car accessories truck accessories, even some tools. I didn't get a real good look around for my part came back and it was in stock so I was on my way. I will visit this Napa again, I recommend it.
I looked online to find a part. Long story short that said that they had the part. Drive 30 min. With bad water pump just to find that don't have the part. Plus it will take several days to get. Always something.
Napa was a pleasant experience when in there got what I needed he put my windshield wiper blades on in 2 seconds was kind older gentleman looked up the parts I needed and installed them in a jiffy would highly recommend this Napa to any commuters or locals or people from out of town to stop in Napa because they know how!!!
They were good people and gave me a good deal. I was a few dollars short and an employee pulled money out of his own pocket to help me out, and tried to add a discount ontop of that. Very good people here. Highly recommended dropping by here.
Friendly, convenient, and well-stocked... BUT... despite signs requiring customers to wear masks (a state-wide order) the employees do not! That hypocrisy warrants a 3-star demerit.
I can't believe I have lived in Gulf Shores for nearly for years and have never been to the Napa Auto Parts store when I needed parts. They definitely lives up to the Gulf Shores slogan, of small town. I'm at Lonnie and Keith and they were both very friendly and very helpful! I will be back.
Bill was super kind and helped me out when I was on vacation. They are a great resource for parts, also helped me find a reliable mechanic while vacationing. Thanks for the great service!
They were extremely helpful, even took their time to install my windshield wipers for me. I'll definitely go back an reccomy them to all the people I know
Ive only stopped here a few times since I usually use an auto parts place closer to my house. Today I needed windshield wipers. The manager was very helpful even while dealing with other customers. He installed both wipers in about 2 mins and I was on my way! Thanks!
Great people! Great service! Very patient and understanding of "out-of-towners" struggles. Cant say enough good about them. On a flip side, i would avoid the Pep Boys Garage at Orange Beach across from Cosmos.
On vacation from Indiana. My headlight went out. Stopped in And they were very helpful & knowledgeable. Changed my light for me. In & out in record time. I appreciate great customer service.
Charges you when supposed to refund for core parts and are extremely rude. I would definitely recommend shopping elsewhere and if you do shop here to check your bank accounts and receipts to make sure they charged you correctly.
