Lily Saves the Day!!
Where can I start with how awesome she is! Our family’s rental was having issues with overheating. I reached out to Lily, and despite it being her “day off”, she met us at our hotel and got us taken care of and back on the road again! Hero! And the best part? She is an amazing person with great stories and a sincere love for this beautiful area of the country. It was truly a treat to get to meet her.
Lily to the rescue again! Lily really saved me as my wife was super worried about a gas leak and didn't want to drive anywhere with it leaking. Lily diagnosed it and calmed my wife down enough that we had a really great day after that. Thank you so much for all your help.
P.S. my wife is fully smitten with Lily now.
I was panicking about a fuel leak, Lily came to the rescue in three minutes! She crawled under the RV, thoroughly inspected, and figured out the problem. Turns out my husband put a little too much gas in the tank and created a vacuum in the overflow . . . Lily is so cool, she wasn't even going to charge us since she was already in the neighborhood, but we insisted we had to pay her something. Definitely deserving of all the accolades!
What a great lady!!! We were at the Devil's Tower KOA, getting ready to leave...and locked our keys in the RV. Lily is a mobile mechanic and was able to get out to us quickly and we were back in the RV in no time. She is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and we had a great chat with her. Would recommend her to any and all. Thankful she was able to help us out.
We were in Hulett for two nights, to see the devil’s tower and relax, as my wife and I are on a cross country tour. We needed an oil change, and Lily did a great job and she was right nearby our motel. If you’re there and you need some work on your car, go see Lily. She has two pretty cool dogs too thank you.
Lily must surely be the guardian angel of tourists. We gave her a call when our car started making a weird noise after visiting Devil's Tower. She said she'd be right with us after she finished with another stranded car. We met her at her garage and enjoyed the company of her two sweet pups, as well as Lily herself as she explored every avenue of what the problem could be, and was able to get us back on the road in a little over an hour. Her professional yet casual demeanor put us immediately at ease. Great service, great company, and a great experience overall. We are so grateful for Lily!
When our vehicle check engine light came on and message of "reduction of engine power" we stopped to see Lilly at her garage. She is very pleasant and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to check the car's computer and determined that it was beyond her capability to fix so we needed to get it to a dealership. She called the dealership to ensure we could drive it 45 miles (in its condition) to that location. She then told us the instructions the dealership gave on what to do and not to do, and what to watch for as we drove it there. Lily then gave us directions to get it to the dealership. She was extremely helpful.
We broke down in our RV with 3 cats & 1 very old dog in the heat of the day leaving Devil’s Tower. Lily you are a gift to the world! Your kindness, expertise, & willingness to help not only fix our RV but provide us safe refuge will never be forgotten. My dad took my car to Lily's Garage here in Hulett and had the most wonderful service! We're from out of town and my dad needed help with my car. When my dad pulled up, Lily came right out and asked how she could help! My dad told her what was wrong and she took a look right away and determined I needed a new battery and she helped put it in! You don't find this kind of service and kindness in Colorado! Thank you Lily for your wonderful hospitality!
Took it in for an oil change then started having issues. First thing she did was question what oil she used and did a flush of the oil and changed it again. She would not return calls or texts. She had my car for months. I have no idea what she did as I was not told. I got my car back and now I need to find an engine. Very poor customer service.
We had a major trailer hub failure right as we got to town, Lily was able to meet us where the trailer broke on the side of the road and immediately started to get to work on it and 48 hours later had it back running perfectly! Extremely thankful for her work to get us back on the road!
I took my truck to Lily yesterday for an oil change. She and her dogs greeted me immediately upon arrival and got my truck in right away. She was very knowledgeable and very kind. Her dogs and I hung out while she worked, a very peaceful, good experience. Lily is obviously very competent and loves what she does, she answered all my follow up questions and told me my engine runs beautifully. I trust her. Highly recommend.
Lily saved us! She came to our campsite, diagnosed the problem immediately (confirming our guess) and spent quite a bit of her own time making numerous calls to locate the part with the fastest delivery (not an easy task in rural Wyoming).
Once the part arrived she fixed our car very quickly and handed us an extremely reasonable invoice. She truly deserved much more than she charged us.
I have never met anyone with a better work ethic, a fairer business person or a more energetic member of a community!
Also, I have no qualms in saying Lily is brilliant - a genius! She absolutely knows what she is doing and does it with amazing speed. I am not the only one who wants to call her Doctor Lily! We were so lucky we were here and found her when we needed help with our car.
And she is a very interesting person. She is far too busy and it was a frenetic week with the big motorcycle rally, but it would have been fun to take her to dinner and listen to her tell stories of life here in this part of Wyoming.

Lily was an absolute godsend!! Our truck broke down on our trip from Nebraska to Washington, in the middle of nowhere. We were able to limp it to Lily’s. She was able to diagnose and fix the problem in less than 24 hours!! She really is incredible sweet and caring and so knowledgeable. If we would have gone anywhere else we would have paid triple what she charged us. Lily, you are amazing and this town is soo lucky to have you!!! Thank you soo much from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
We picked up a screw in our tire at Devil's Tower. When I asked Siri to find the nearest garage, Lily's Garage was the first to pop up. We called and Lily was happy to drop everything and help us out. She quickly plugged our tire and we were on our way. Lily was a God-send! Thanks Lily!
Lily is a literal Angel! I am on a cross country drive and locked my keys in my car at the Devils Tower campground. I couldn’t get anyone to come out and Lily came to the rescue, got my car unlocked, blessed me with suggestions of where to go on my trip and offered me a plant from her truck. I’ll never forget this 💜thank you Lily!! I’m almost glad I locked my keys in my car so I could meet you!

My child has been taking a months long journey around the nation and got stuck here in Hulett just before Christmas during a severe cold weather that swept most of the states. Several car problems have developed and we are so worried. We live in the south and the car has never been driven to a place that has negative temperatures. Running up to Devil's Tower from Rapid City to get info for my grandson in Ohio for a book report. The O ring on my power steering was replaced on Friday was not set right and steering locked up and blew the O ring in Hewitt. I was at the grocery store and asked the lovely women behind the counter if I could leave my car there as AAA would not come until next day. As we were leaving to find a hotel room for the night, Jill yelled out, here comes our mechanic in town. Her name is Lily. She just came in after work to get a popcicle. As she walked in the door, Jill was saying, Hi Lily, we need your help. Poor girl, didn't get in the door until 2 strangers needed help. She came out and the O rings we had replaced on Friday were not in right and power steering fluid blew all over her. She went in and got her popcicle, jumped in her Model T and went to get her tools. Her Mom ran for parts. She was able to fix within an hour and we made it home to Rapid. She is wonderful. Her friends at grocery were wonderful and my husband and I will be back to visit. Hewitt is beautiful. We had no idea it has the Black Hills all around them. 6 hrs there was the best it could have been! Lily, thank you and we just might bring our vehicles to you to fix! Was at Devils Tower and noticed that the front tires on my Jeep were starting to cup due to towing my camper 1,000 miles. Called up Lily and she was able to do a 5 tire rotation for me the same day. Great lady to do business with and a thorough mechanic to boot. Don't think I'll be out this way again but I highly recommend her.
Lily can fix anything except an UFO! She is a very capable mechanic, so definitely leave your vehicle issues for her to solve. She is prompt and a pleasure to talk to, so your wait will be over before you know it.
