Last night at the end of a big snow storm my stepson got stuck on the side of the interstate. We were 2 hours away and they responded immediately and towed his car and him to the truck stop where he stayed save until the roads were better. Can’t say enough about how professional, prompt and nice they were! Thank you for helping him, we will be singing your praises to everyone we can.
We discovered a giant screw in our tire at 5:15 pm on a Friday and Tom was in the shop! He had us back on the road by 545. Amazing service, nice guy, Thank You so much !!
Only place that answered the phone at 11pm on a Friday night and was willing to help with a trailer tire blowout. 2 hours from home with our son’s race car trailer after leaving Golden Sands Speedway and they opened up and took care of us quickly with a smile and got us on our way home thanks Area Wide Towing for helping us get home and off to the next race tomorrow, if the scale went higher I’d double the stars.
I have used them 4 times in the last year for various towing and repairs. The service and turn around times were outstanding. They are all very nice folks.
TJ was AWESOME. He was very kind, polite and understanding of our situation. He went out of his way to look at our tires after it was towed and found the issue. If you have an issue in this area, which I hope you don't, give Area Wide a call.
This is a great family business! We broke down on the highway on a Sunday evening, called them, and they were to our location in just a few minutes. Nice knowledge driver…. Gave us destination options with prices. Super easy!
We had gotten a flat were having difficulty with the under the van mechanism releasing and thought we might have to have a tow. Tom showed up and got the mechanism to release after all and changed the tire for us in a jiffy. Courteous and efficient service.

I blew out a tire on the hwy at 11:35. I called and talked to Tom. He was there in 10 minutes towed me back to the shop. I was on the road by 12:15!!! Great service! Thank you Tom!
I called Tom up after calling a local heavy duty tow truck in Chippewa Falls area to tow one of my Semi trucks. He was polite, gave me an estimate before going out on the call, and was MUCH MORE reasonable than the other service. Mine you, Tom had to travel from Plainfield to Cadott, WI drop my semi in Edgar & back to Plainfield. I will use Areawide again & again! This family business makes their customers feel like they are family. Tom was amazing! He helped me with a battery issue. He arrived so quickly and was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with me when it was clear I did not know the first thing about the mechanics of my car. In fact, I relied on his assistance last year and he recalled the specifics of my car and me from the year prior. I wholeheartedly recommend this business. I could not be happier with Tom and the service.
3:20pm the afternoon Tuesday Dec. 5 2022 picked up a nail outside of town. Asked if he could help us out. Answer: NO I CAN’t fit you in today. Only two men! Maybe the owners! (Mind you must of been father and son) So much for emergency service. I’m glad they were able to direct us next door for air. Going to try and make it from gas station to gas station for air till we can find someone kind enough to help us out.
WOW !!! 1st. I have to say they were awesome !!! He saved the day for us ! We were heading up north in our motorhome and flat towing our jeep when I noticed the tire on the driver side looked low at the truck stop gas station . upon further inspection the inside dule tire valve stem was completely torn off and the tire was flat. we asked the lady at the gas station if she could recommend someone, and she gave us Area Wides # I called they answered and he told me bring it over!!! He had to take off the inside tire break it down inspect it and put it all back together! The young man was entirely professional and totally upstanding it was such a relief and such a great experience to see that he actually cared ! Thank you so much Area Wide !!!!!!!!!

Fast, efficient service. The young man who took care of us used extreme care loading and securing my vintage vehicle, with soft straps, for it’s 112 mile ride to our mechanic. All this at 9:30 at night. He probably didn’t get back home till wee hours of the morning. Great service!!

Great customer service and towing service! I had ran into a car situation on the interstate and Area Wide was there to help. The tow staff was very calm and collected which really helped with the anxiety I was experiencing. Luckily, the ride back to Madison wasn't awkward lol. I learned a lot about the tow staff and enjoyed the conversation about life! Definitely put my mind at ease knowing I was riding with someone with a lot of experience! Thank you!!
Tom came out in the middle of a down pour on the interstate yesterday to help a stranded family on their way home from a flawless vacation. Tom was quick with his work and sent us on our way. Often a thankless job in “public service,” but you made a large impact on this family. So a HUGE THANK YOU to Tom and the rest of the crew!

Day one of vacation our (3 day old) front tire on our motorcycle blows. We are towing a trailer too of course. Our insurance calls them up for road side and they send these fine folks. They take us to harley in the dells to hopefully get a tire in the morning. No service department. And everyone else seems closed Sunday. The gentleman took us to our hotel instead a couple miles away. Pointed us to people who could help in the morning. And after all that he gave a pass on the extra trailer charge since there wasn't any extra work involved. Greatly appreciated and cant thank them enough for trying to make a crappy situation better. Made an emergency stop just before getting on the highway due to a bad trailer tire. Fit us right in, stayed open late and price was very reasonable. Very friendly and outgoing service. Highly highly recommend!!!

Family owned, fantastic service, friendly, affordable. Whether you are from out of town and break down or you are a local that breaks down away from home, Area Wide will help you out. Tom and his team are knowledgeable and are honest - not the type of mechanics that 'accidentally' break things so you come back or treat you like an idiot because you are female. I've lived in different places around the state, but came back to them for oil changes and work because I knew I could trust them and the price would be reasonable. You won't be disappointed.
We broke down a few years ago in the middle of nowhere. We were on our way to the UP of Michigan for our anniversary. I googled towing and Area Wide Services came up. I choose it and have never been so happy with a towing/repair service in my life. Tom Jr. came and towed us to the shop and since it was getting late we stayed at the local hotel. Tom explained that he would try to get our altinotor replaced as soon as he could in the morning. We were disappointed that our trip was going to be delayed, but accepted that we may not be back on the road until late the next morning. After we checked into the hotel and went and grabbed some supper there was a message on my phone. It was Tom Jr. telling us that our car was fixed! By now it was around 9 PM. Tom had gone into town and picked up the part for our van and had it all fixed up in less than 2 hours! He absolutely went above and beyond to get us back on the road again!!!! Thank you Tom Jr!!!
I had a flat on i39 on a Sunday evening and nobody else was open that was anywhere near me. Tom was very polite and offered a very cheap price considering the circumstances. $140 to come tow me back to his shop and put a spare tire I had in the back of my truck on the rim. He included a free air valve for me and was very fast about it all. Very highly recommended! A+
The service here is fantastic! Came and picked me up 2 miles south of the exit with a flat tire. Tow was $95 :/ but it was ok, because of the service i received. Changed and mounted my tire on existing rim quite quickly, was on road and going within 20 minutes.
