While we were stopped for gas in Wautoma, WI, on the way to family Christmas (and 2 hours from home), we noticed we had a flat tire. Ponytail Mike, who works at O'Reilly store #2397, happened to park next to us at the gas station and was kind enough to run home and get his heavy duty jack and torque wrench, and take off our flat tire and put our spare on, all out of the goodness of his heart. We sincerely appreciate Mike! He was kind and in the right place at the right time. He sets the standard for O'Reilly employees!
The other day I stopped into O'Reilly Auto Parts and Michael helped me out so much. I was in need of assistance with getting my headlights in and he was fantastic. I was in a rush because I needed to get to the hospital and he really stepped up and went above and beyond for customer care. Thanks again Michael.
I’ve been loyal to O’Reilly all over the country and this location is exemplary. Mike, Michael, Charlie, and all their staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.
My alternator went out and they were able to sell me a new one, offered several options for how to get it into my car (they don’t/can’t for legal reasons do the work, but the store has tools they can lend you), and had normal hours, a convenient location, and a loyal, local following.
I have nothing but bad things to say about O Reilly auto parts. I talked to someone on the phone about some wheel seals and they had them in stock, and asked them to set them aside for me my wife will be there to pick them up guy said ok, she goes there and they said they don't pull parts unless they are paid for she calls me and I told them I will get them from Amazon, I can't count how many times I have gone in there or sent my wife to pick up parts and they sent them back because I was 3 days late on picking them up even though I told them I would be, wasting my time and money driving an hour round trip for nothing
I will now be ordering my parts on (Rock Auto) (Amazon) and (parts geak) and Advanced Auto. because clearly O Reillys can't get there head out of there cheeks
Similar to another review, I went to the store w minimal information about parts I needed for my car. Charlie was super helpful in finding the parts and offered to replace them for no charge. Would recommend this location.
Their prices are okay but many times you can find a better price if you buy off of Amazon.
Their service, however, is fantastic and they are very informative.
I'm a car geek and even have worked professionally as a mechanic. I have been to parts houses in over 40 States including a hundred or so O'Reilly's. The staff at the Waupaca store don't just sell parts they've also have done the work. They are knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. They don't just work for a paycheck, they have the passion for anything gear head.
I was very pleased to find the parts I needed, I went in with minimal information, but the employees found me just what I needed to get the truck back on the road. The staff was very knowledgeable for the position they are in, great job. Definately my favorite parts store!
Jim and the team completely saved me! I thought I was stranded 200 miles from home, but after a check engine light diagnosis, help with materials from Jim, and a phone call with my partner guiding me through the process, I was able to change a spark plug and get home (first time I've ever done anything like that!) The staff was so encouraging and patient, helped me as much as they were able, and were rooting me on every step of the way. I couldn't recommend O'Reilly enough!
The guys and the girls at work they are great you usually get pretty good time they don't keep you waiting and they'll go outside and look at things for you and give you an idea if you don't know what's wrong and just give you it might be this and it might be that too if they don't know for sure and or they might go inside with him and ask the other guys in there and some of them are pretty knowledgeable about what is going on with your car and they'll have the parts to fix it if you need them and they're really helpful nice to see it
We worked with "Moose" today from the Waupaca store today. He was informative and patient with us in purchasing rear break pads and rotors. We went home with helpful information and pointers to help our work go smoothly. We are both in our mid-60's and the pointers from "Moose" made our project go quickly and efficiently. " Moose " is an outstanding representative of your company.
Went there on a Sunday to get a hyd hose made. Didn't have right size and went up a size and didn't ask me. Didn't have correct die to crimp ends so guessed with different die. Got the amount due...$274. Was mad but needed it. Went to put it on and it had wrong end and and was way too short. Took it back and got my money back. Lost a day of work. Correct hose at Napa was $105!!! Never will I go there again.
I bought a harmonic balancer for my 05 explorer and I ask John if i could get the Harmonic Balancer puller while talking to other employees he was helping me, 5 minutes later he told me that they didn't have it. I looked around the store and found one went to pay for it and my luck John came to help me when I try paying he says I don't have chage i just started my shift this would be my last trip to the waupaca store..
I asked for transmission fluid the guy that used to work there he does not work there anymore put in the wrong fluid and ended up screwing my transmission up! slips and needs a new one! Do not go there they are not qualified for anything, they go through people left and right! they hire people off the street! You could work there and not know anything about Auto mechanic's! Manager gave me $100 towards transmission I had to replace $2,000 what a joke! And that was a used transmission!

Very helpful. I had a dead car battery. They tested to be sure that was the case. They then installed it with care to clean and protect the connections. All during rain storm. Fantastic crew.

if you get the right employee they will help you out no problem. i cant remember his name but the ginger dude with the beard and glasses has really helped me figure out some of the problems i was having with various cars.
Has a dead battery in the car. Jordan tested the alternator and battery for us. He then found us a new battery and gave us choices. He then replaced the battery for us, which is not something he had to do. Friendly and talkative through it and then would not accept the tip we offered because it was "too much". A great experience!
