Very poor rates. They will unload your scrap, mix it together and tell you it's contaminated and give you $.05 for scrap aluminum. The office that pays out always seems to "miscount" the money in their favor as well.
Took in copper today to get my moneys worth ended up getting ripped off of 23 pounds of copper. As you can see the scale says 83 pounds and the receipt says 60 pounds for # 1 copper. I would suggest to anyone going to A and W to recheck your receipt before leaving. Horribly pricing as well national copper price is $4.07.
Lana gave me the best prices in the area. Everybody was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Easy drop-off procedures and fast service, highly recommend.
Brought a 53 foot dry van in for recycled metal. They had me drop my trailer on the street. As most of these recycle places are tight for big trucks. The yard jockey was very pleasant and helpful. Took a bit for them to load and bring me back my trailer. They slid my tandems and still overloaded me on my trailer axles very common for these kind of places to do I've noticed. Be mindful of that.
This company is great! They met and exceeded our HVAC company's needs for a large equipment removal from a jobsite. We look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you Lana!

Rip off! They paid me $50/ton for sheet iron and sadoff would pay me $170/ton. Don't recommend this place because they're cheating the system by having untrained employees who put cast iron as sheet iron. Will never be going back
1st I called told them I had helex copper they told me to bring it in I brought it in told me there was no value to it witch is a lie because I been in the telecommunications industry for 10 years and every scrap yard from midwest to texas takes it. The owner or manager lady came out with a rude attitude when I was trying to explain what it is and what it is used for showed her a picture and she told me no pictures in the world can put value to it. I'm currently at a different scrap yard in Milwaukee that is willing to give me 60 cents a pound. I will never be returning to A&W or any company Associated.
