He was super busy but took the time to diagnose it quick when the car arrived and give me options on how to get it fixed. He is a very knowledgeable man and explains things in detail for you so you understand what the situation is before proceeding with anything. I have a 1993 dodge Cummins 5.9 I have owned this truck for 12 years and in them 12 years there has been nothing but trouble with my overdrive, along with all the wiring issues it had. I talked to AJ about the problems and he didn’t shy away from the problems he said, bring it on in. Today I Picked up my truck not only does my overdrive work great my heat finally works after 12 years hands down best and mechanic in town very detailed, very responsive he went above and beyond what he really needed to do… I would like to add another thin also if I was to have any other shop it would of broke me … hands-down, best mechanic and very well priced….
Im down in the area for the weekend and my abs light came on and my all wheel drive turned off. Took my car to AJ and he didn't hesitate to squeeze me in for my 300 mile drive home tomorrow. He's very friendly and was willing to do what he could to get me on the road. Turns out I need a new wheel bearing. Thank you AJ for great service!
I Need major engine repair or replacement, talked to AJ (the owner) about options, never once felt like he was trying to sell me on any one option, he was just honestly talking through all my options, he seems like very genuine guy.

The best service I have ever had! Extremely detailed and he explains everything that needs to be done including photos. My Jeep started acting up on a Monday and I was able to get everything fixed by Thursday. New Richmond is really lucky to have such a great shop locally!

I’ve lived in the area for about 15 years and have consistently been disappointed by the auto shops in Stillwater and Hudson.
