Last night I had a dead vehicle battery and called KB based on a recommendation. After being told someone would be there in 30-45 mins, Ken arrived in <15 mins due to the kindness of the current person he was assisting (their vehicle was on his flat bed and they were in the passenger seat) and their willingness for Ken to make a quick stop for a person needing a jump start.
(That customer deserves ten stars, too, because their patience led to a ripple effect of great customer service. Bravo!)
Ken was personable, knowledgeable, and got me back on track in under ten minutes. Cost was beyond reasonable, and the advice offered was invaluable. The world needs more people like Ken! Thank you again!
Ashton got me out of the snowy ditch after a winter storm and didn’t charge me tax, just the flat rate to pull me out and put on my spare. He got there in 30 minutes (I was 20 minutes away from the shop) and was very nice- didn’t make me feel stupid for sliding off the road with my crap tires which was very appreciated!! $350 even and recommended a tire place for me to go and get my new tires.
Wild story… so several months ago while I was driving home from Stockton, my tire blew out 20 minutes before getting home. My boyfriend came out to help me, but the bolt was screwed on too tight and we didn’t have the proper tools to loosen it. I called Johnny and he was able to get out to me in about 25 minutes. I’m really glad that he was able to come out so fast because it was just getting dark and I was worried that I was in a dangerous situation. He was able to change out my tire for me and I was back on the road in no time. Not only that, Johnny was funny and very knowledgeable.
Anyway, as I mentioned, that was several months ago. Well today, my boyfriend’s tire blew because a bolt had impaled it. AAA was taking forever and he was in an unsafe spot when all of a sudden a tow truck pulls up in front of him. My boyfriend asks the AAA representative if they sent a truck already and they say no.
The man approaches his car and says he noticed him and wanted to see if he needed any assistance. Who was the man? Johnny!
Well Johnny was able to tow him to a tire shop that offered a good deal. So thank you Johnny for your generosity!
I had driven an hour to Janesville today for a dentist appointment. I had car trouble very unexpectedly and Ashton came within 25 minutes to my location with the tow truck. He was able to fix the problem without needing a tow. Amazing customer service. Highly recommend this company.
The owner is absolutely amazing. I had backed out of my driveway and my car just got stuck in reverse wouldn’t change gears and of course I’m having a full blown panic attack bc I’m blocking traffic , the person from my house I called to help me accidentally let the dog out so now I'm impeding traffic , someone’s yelling at me while I’m trying to tell them they’ll have to drive around all while trying to chase my dog around the neighborhood. ⏭️Fast forward to me calling k&b towing bc I need this problem fix as of yesterday and the owner shows up -we explain what was going on and instead of saying nothing and probably making extra money KEVIN (the owner) was an absolute angel who was so familiar with the issue with my car he said he could prob just fix it for me. AND HE DID. NO BODYYYYYY ELSE WOULD HAVE JUST DONE THAT OUTTA THE KINDNESS OF THEIR HEART ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE A BUSINESS TO RUN. It took him a matter of 5 minutes to fix my complete mental breakdown of how I’m gunna get to work and money to fix all this … absolutely amazing nothing I can say would ever do him justice.
Oh and the dog is fine I eventually caught up to him. ?
We had a blown tire on Wisconsin 39 and 11. Our insurance company said it would be 72 minutes before anyone would show up. However, K&B showed up in 20 minutes! The driver was very nice and explained everything to us. Got the spare on, directions to a store to buy tires, and we were able to continue on our travels immediately. Great service! Highly recommend K&B!
While loading my car on a nearly 90° day, my dog locked the door with three dogs and three guinea pigs in the heat. I called the police and they called KB towing. My dogs were going downhill fast. Buttnz the French Bulldog now laying in the front seat. I was hysterical and then I saw my heroes... KB towing coming FULL SPEED down Grant Street to rescue my babies. He knew exactly what to do and had those doors open in seconds. I will never forget what they did for me and my precious family!!!
I 'am on oxygen and my car died. The young man that came to tow me was there in minutes, he was more worried about me running out of air then anything else.He helped me in and out of his truck and got me home and made sure I was ok before he left to go back and tow the car. Just want to let his parents know what a fine young man they have raised. Thank you K B towing
If I could give 10/5 stars I would. My car broke down at an intersection on a saturday, they showed up immediatly. They were friendly, helpful, and even called a good local mechanic to take a look at it. They ~also~ ended up giving me, my girlfriend, and my dog a ride back home. Cant reccomend enough. Good people.
Ashton with KB towing is amazing! My car wasn’t starting, so I called for a tow to the dealership. When he arrived he went through all my options with me and we decided to try to jump the car first. When he opened the hood, be noticed right away that there was corrosion on my battery, explained to me that it was time for a new battery and a new battery terminal. We got the car started and I was able to drive it to the mechanic on my own with more knowledge about the problem than before! Super grateful for his professionalism, honestly, and education.
Great company..great owner..he came & towed my daughters truck that was leaking gas to my small town mechanic in Deerfield WI..for whatever reason my card wasn't working right..he took off $10 & then it worked..he said in return if u have a cold soda or water..sure did..gave him 2 cold drinks to go for his trip..highly recommend Ken..very appreciated!! Prompt & professional!
If there was a way for me to give this company more than 5 stars I totally would. They are very effective, prompt, affordable, and most importantly professional! After a couple hours of having car trouble roadside, and no other tow companies able to help because of the holiday weekend, K.B took the call and got the job done. Got myself into a ditch on a snowy morning and K B Towing answered their phones immediately. Once Ken arrived he was hooked up and had my car out in less than 10 minutes, all for an insanely reasonable price. Would definitely use again if i found myself in a pickle.

AAA left me stranded, with a flat tire, for 3 hours; (my vehicles model isn't equiped with a spare) before they admitted that they didn't actually have a tech enroute. K B Towing answered right away and get a tech to me ASAP. Tech was well experienced and K B Towing had a newer, well maintained, flatbed w/ tirelift. Got my sport sedan (so lower suspension setup with low profile tires) on and off quick and flawlessly. I was also impressed and how reasonable the rate was. Will be the only place I recommend, from now on, for local transport.
Ken was very professional and courteous. First and foremost he made sure I was warm and safe then took care of getting my car out. Excellent service! Very reasonable price! Ken arrived way ahead of schedule. He was great to work with. We had to have a truck towed to the place we were going to fix it. He went above and beyond our expectations. We asked him to just drop it in front of the garage door and we would push it in. He asked if we wanted him to just back it right in the shed. And that’s what he did. Highly recommended! Will definitely be using K B again if we need a tow.
