Been using this without issue for the nearly 20 years I've lived in this city. Yet now they decide to strictly enforce to purely property owners so if you rent, no matter if you're renting a single family house or live in an apartment, they will deny you access. What a bad joke. This is ridiculous, I can somewhat understand for apartment living because you generally have large dumpsters available so it's not a big deal. However, with a single family home, we do not have such luxury and only have individual, normal recycling and trash bins that are regularly picked up like every other damn house in the city.
Inconsistent hours.
It is really difficult to plan a run to the dump if the hours of operation are constantly changing.
Something needs to be done about this!
I just called, and they said they don't take anything from apartments. Only homes, which I find odd, especially since furniture is furniture. But oh well. And when I asked about fees, there was none. But website says otherwise. Very confusing.
Nice employees, very good at directing you where to go. I like that they check everyone's ID and what people are dumping. As a resident I appreciate that they don't allow in those who are not allowed to be there. The whole area is kept very clean. I've seen other cities with really gross recycling yards, they do a great job keeping it looking nice which I'm sure is not an easy task.
I really like the free wood chips during the summer.
