I was very disturbed yesterday morning when I came in and seen one of the male employees yelling at the female employee while I was waiting in line. I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back knowing that kind of thing happens here.
Ok, be careful reading the bad reviews because my experience was great. They were open as stated on their website, the car was where they said it was. Many parts were removed as I totally expected. But the one I needed was there and it looked great. Took me 15 minutes and I was out of there. People at the counter were great coming in and checking out. The price was awesome. $54.53 for a rocker panel which included $3 admission fee, $3.12 environmental fee, and $3.77 sales tax. New ones are like $500. So I love this place. I'll be back. Yes there is a environmental fee, an optional warranty. But I knew all this because it was fully disclosed on their website. Do your homework people. This place saved me because nobody in the area had this part and needed it for a body shop appt in a week. $54? Awesome deal.
I came here because the website clearly said $19.99 per tire without warranty. I wanted four, so that’s $80 total, plus the $10 dismount fee per tire ($40), which should have been $120. With tax, that’s about $140. The first employee I spoke with gave me the exact same price as the website, which made sense.
Then another employee came in and suddenly raised the price from $140 to $340, claiming they had “just changed the prices for sets of tires yesterday” and that the first employee “didn’t know.” But I could tell he was lying — the first employee even looked at him with confusion when he said it.
This place is unprofessional and misleading. If they can’t honor their own website pricing and instead make up numbers on the spot, they’re not trustworthy. I won’t be back, and I don’t recommend this junkyard to anyone.
Went and spent 2hr removing a gps screen that online says 74$ without core and warranty. I go to pay and suddenly they start upcharging for THE BUILT IN wire harness to controller because it is NOT A TOUCHSCREEN . After she's done adding everything on suddenly the price is 135$ lolol they're crazy ! Bad enough they charge you more to remove your own part than it does off ebay to have it delivered to your door.. I will never go to any lkq ripoff AGAIN. This also isn't the 1st time they've pulled this but it will be the last. Btw , u refused to pay for the aftermarket GPS screen and bought one brand new for 210$.
Online said they have the car I was looking for and I called and they said they had the car drove 35 minutes there to walk thru the lot and 20-28 rows are missing with no cars in them all empty terrible experience waste of tyme and gas and customer service sucked make no sense will never come back or recommend any one to go there stay away bad business.
website does not have a complete list or else i'd have found if they have the part. tried calling instead of using website and it just tells you to use the website (which wont let me type the part manually or send an email with an inquiry) and then hangs up in you. trash searh engine for parts list.
First time visiting, lots to learn. $3 entry, tool boxes / bags get checked. You can rent a wheelbarrow with refundable deposit. Cars are organized by domestic closer, foreign closer to the train tracks, then by numbered rows and columns. Pictures are usually of car upon arrival. Cars are propped up on old rims, Wheels off the ground so if you're looking to remove them you'll need an impact or a way to keep the wheel from moving. Unless it's fresh on the lot, it's likely picked over, but if you know compatible models you can probably find what you need. Prices are decent, but if you're looking to flip it will really depend on the part. I will definitely be coming back, this place is awesome.
Been going there for years. Place is really organized now, best ever. staff is helpful friendly. Only thing Prices way to high priced.. price check before you go there. pulled out couple sensors and a vvt valve they asked $80 ! Wow geez,,new those go for $58 on my vin. Didnt have time press the point counter people didnt know better so I left empty, stopped at another yard got same parts $38 didnt have 2 pull em. Think their computer price list need to be updated.
They wasted an hour of my day on top of leaving work early with their deceptive hours. The hours listed both online and on their storefront window are not representative. On their window, they have their hours listed, then way at the bottom underneath "Open 7 Days" they have some fine print saying they close before the listed hours. Then when you get to the door and an employee comes out to tell you they are closed before their listed hours, they point to the fine print like it's your fault for not knowing, despite their website listing the entrance hours as ending at 4:30pm. All of this time of mine wasted for a part that takes 5 seconds to remove. I wasted more in gas going here and back than the part is even worth.
Gotta know what you're looking for before showing up! Yet again I do verify that they have the same if not similar vehicle in the yard. Can't get something that someone else was able to get to firts!!! I've been going here for a couple years now. Never had a bad experience. Staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Fantastic junkyard.
Lots of cars and parts but one of the workers was extremely rude. She asked if asked if my brother and I were together as in “lovers” which is extremely rude and disrespectful. They should not be asking those questions or making assumptions.
Sold me a 350$ ecu and vvt assembly went back 3 days later because the ecu was faulty, payed with debit card and payed the extra for the warranty. But they refused the return because I didn't keep there receipt, I can see the transaction through my bank, but oh it's too difficult for you to go in there and look up where you recived my money? they want to get back on you for not knowing their "rules". They also constantly tell you a price for somthing and the price doubles once you've pulled it from the vehicle. it's all a system to generate more money. They don't want to do fair and reasonable business.
Great place to shop. Customers are helpful and the staff is amazing. I have sold my car here and bought parts and they are very reasonable in both pricing areas.
: Misleading Information and Poor Customer Service**
I recently went to this store and had a really bad experience. I needed tail lights for my car and the staff told me the ones I bought would fit. They didn’t fit at all. When I tried to return them, they said I couldn’t because I didn’t buy the $15 warranty. The manager told me my only option was to sell them on Facebook Marketplace, even though I spent $65. This whole thing was very frustrating and I feel like they lied to me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I still go there once in a while in emergency situation but this is the place I would like to avoid at all cost. First of all they charge too much. And staffs are very rude. They always treat customers like their subordinate and look down on. When you request for taking off the extra charge for the return guarantee which I didn't even ask them to add, they scoff or explicitly express disappointment. Many times they are careless and put purchase markings on the parts on the spot that will be visible when installed. Go somewhere else if possible. There is no reason why you are ripped off and treated with contempt. They reply to these reviews that they will fix things, but for several years NOTHING changed. Stay away!!!
This place is very disorganized for one for two I paid to get a part pulled. Each day they tell me to come back tom part puller not here. Third day, he's still not here and I still don't have a part. Knowone Is trying to assist.

Well organized yard that is not muddy. Great place to get the part you want. It has been a couple years since the last visit and to use a wheelbarrow they require your ID which they keep and a refundable $20 deposit now. You dont get your ID back until you put your wheelbarrow back where you got it. That is new... also new is all inside employees are women. Their complete inventory is online with detais such as yard location and many with pictures so you can pre plan your visit. The online prices are a bit misleading. My two parts were $62 but the total was $102 after adding all of the fees and taxes. They add a guarantee fee, a core dee, an environmental fee, and tax all of that and it really adds up to almost double the cost! The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is one of the last few self serve yards. I like that you can set an alert for a vehicle type as they get new ones all the time.
Cars are plenty but the prices just keep rising. Fees upon fees when you check out. This used to be my spot to go and got several people to come. With all the fees you can get the same part elsewhere without having to take it off yourself. I now tell everyone to go to Franklin if they want a fair price on a used part.

This business values profit over customer satisfaction. They add 90 day warranties to every part you buy without asking you if you want a warranty. Spent $70 for a 13" rim and tire to use as a spare that came with a $15 dollar 90 day warranty that I'll never use. Save your money and buy elsewhere.
My first time being at LKQ has been a Great experience and good customer service at the front desk where you come to pay a 3$ admission, prices may be a little to high but very reasonable but I have one complaint. I recently tried to sell my car, to a young lady and at first everything seemed ok until she approached me in a inappropriate way, after I told her I was happily married and after I politely declined she started to have a nasty attitude so I decided to leave, I will never sell a car there ever again but I will be coming back to buy new parts.
in terms of a junk yard, it is big, and they have newer cars too. In terms of management and prices they are awful. Staff is really bad, and they don't go through any training or screening. Customer service is terrible. They treat me always now adays with the assumption that I'm a thief and never with respect. I hope someone from LKQ sees this and if they want, I will give further clarification, I will be happy to do that privately too. I'm not sure about the names but I think "Diamond" and the other girl need to be taught how to interact with CUSTOMERS. I used to like this place but unfortunately, I will not go there again, there are many others around!
LKQ is a very low quality parts yard. The first issue is that when you try to call a specific parts yard the number they give you just leads you to the call center. They don't know which parts are still on the vehicle or not. They tell you to just come in person but if you are located 2 hours away you absolutely need confirmation that the part is there. The other awful thing is why would you ever pay $3 just to enter a yard? That seems so crazy to me considering that they may not have the part you want. Overall, a bad company that doesn't put its customers first.
I do repair a lot of my car using used parts from this junkyard, the people working there were changing a lot in the past but looks that the new management is keeping the people by rewarding them. I was there yesterday Monday, November 6, 2023 and I bought some parts and used tires. Today I found out the the parts do not match my car, so returned them but kept the tires. At the beginning the staff was confused while returning the parts, but after clarification they issued the refund.
I don't mind paying the $3 to get in....I suppose it prevents a lot of people from just loitering in all the time. I had looked on their website prior to arriving to know the position of the cars I was looking for. I found the part I was looking for and removed it. Staff that checked me in and checked me out were really nice. I would definitely go there again to find a part.
Staff is good on average, prices are fair. Best to just go there and take a look around. Inventory online is about 78% accurate so don't take it as gospel.
Love how cheap some stuff can be, got a BMW muffler that I'll be able to flip for hundreds once it's cleaned up.
Otherwise, had some great finds over the years, and my friends 3 mini trucks wouldn't be on the road without this place.
Will stop here before any other lame yard that doesn't let you get you own stuff.
