Came 2 hours…. Calling the whole way. He openly admitted that he saw my calls and ignored them because I was coming from out of state and would probably want to have something shipped…… which they obviously don’t care to do
Called for the past 4 hours and no one answers the phone. If they answer their phone and assist me with the part I'm looking for I will for sure change the rating. Great News they answered their phone... new rating !!
Absolutely Horrible Business-I Called and was told he had the Part I needed-Drove 40 minutes and when I got there-Noone was there and they wouldn't answer their phone.I got there at 1230pm-They were supposed to be open till 2pm on the Saturday I went . Another customer was waiting also and extremely mad..DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$ AT THIS PLACE-STAY AWAY FOR REAL-They have tons of Bad reviews which I should have read before wasting my time.
They were extremely helpful here. I am so happy with my experience I just had. They didn't have one of the particular parts I needed but instead of just sending me on my way he helped me find the part and printed me off information about it. I am very happy with the service I received!
Called this place today the giu answered was very rude and unprofessional didn't ask me to hold when asking my question he was cutting me off then when asked how much he yelled. Whattt? I said what if we pull it ourselves he said nobody comes inside..nobody!! Now I see why thos store only has 3 starts appose to 5.
They r not good at all problem after problem with my eng oil leak hose not tiered proper misfiring had to put new cats on still get 430 light just a big mess
They need to learn some manners first and then do business… they don’t know how to talk to customers… worst customer service.. if you hate your job don’t get frustrated just find another one…
Place is fantastic. They can order any parts for any cars if they don't have it. If you. need a mechanical repairs they do it as well.Price is reasonable.
Had to call 10 times to get in touch with someone for them to have a part listed wrong. After calling for confirmation on the part, I was assured it was the right one. Drove 110 miles for it to be the wrong one because the parts reps are too lazy to check. Not worth doing business with.
Called day before to inquire about a headlight for 2011 infinity m45. They told me they have it and will not ship. Drove from Hammond Indiana to pickup next day and pay for part. Person in office walks out to yard for 5 minutes and comes back saying he no longer has the part. Be careful if traveling for part. Have them take photos and double check they have it on the car or in the shelf. Very dissapionted, put them on my blacklist. I normally don't post reviews, but I just want to warn others. Don't waste your time if they can't send you photos. We live in the year 2020, how hard is it to send a picture and text it to my phone?
I bought a window for my van from Absolute. Their customer service wasn't the friendliest, and they were not easy to understand over the phone ( maybe it was his heavy Russian/Polish accent), but the window was average priced compared to other auto salvage places and since it was the closest to my house, I bought it there.
But, I gave them only one star instead of three, because I called them ahead of time to get a quote for junking the same van a year later and they quoted me $200 over the phone if I drive it in, or $150 if they have to come pick it up. We'll I drove it in, but when I get there, the owner comes out and low-balls me with $100....just 10 minutes after speaking with him. I asked him why, since he had just told me $200 over the phone, after I described the van to a "T," and he just repeats his $100 offer without further explanation.
I told him "no deal chump", and drove it to Ace Auto Salavage where they gave me $200.
I won't buy or sell from them again!
I called them to ck on a front diff for my suberban. They said they would call me back and they did in a short time to tell me they have one. It was a good price so I went to get. The part looks ok and hope it's ok when it's put in. 30 day warranty. That's ok.
Came asking for third seat brackets he said he didnt have it and ask me how much was willing to spend and maybe he would have one and check and told him no more than 50 as online are that price for the brackets he said he didnt have it after puting price how muchbiam willing to spend and didnt bother kn looking he was to busy making cigarettes Dont waste your time here
Was referred to them by my family in Milwaukee but I'm from Indiana so far so good still waiting on my transmission to be replaced only been a few days I'll keep you all posted once the job is compete
Literally just called to get an estimate for my vehicle since I've been considering junking my car, and by previous reviews I figured they would give me a simple wuote over the phone. But instead, I was greeted with an attitude, and when I asked about anestimate all the guy said was, "no. just no." and then hung up in my face.
I bought two rear rotors from these guys last summer, and they were worst than the ones i took off from my honda 2004. I took them back but they did not replaced them or gave me my money back.
Well, they had me fooled, it seemed as though they were good guys, but when I need to exchange one of the parts (because they had given me the wrong part) I got to see their true colors. From the conversation I had with them it appears as though they have no knowledge of cars whatsoever. I'll only buy parts from here again if I am in desperate need of something and no other junkyard in Wisconsin or Illinois has the part.
Worst experience at a salvage yard ever. I was quoted one price over the phone, came on a Friday afternoon to get parts, was told they wouldn't pull due to time until closing (which wasn't a big deal at all, just told them I would be back the next morning), quoted same price and was told they would pull them when they opened at 8 AM on Saturday. Got there at 10:30 AM and was given attitude because he said "I told you I would call you when they were ready". Based on how things were rolling around there, watching YouTube videos and just a general lack of urgency or desire to help a customer), I highly doubt my parts would have been pulled had I not shown up. So I left while waiting for parts, took about an hour or so to get a call back about parts, and when I got there to pay, the quotes he had told me had gone up anywhere from $10 per part to $25 per part. Overall total price was about $125 more than was quoted by the same person the day before. Then was told he never told me those prices. When I was rang up, he charged me for a couple of parts I didn't need. I didn't ask for a refund and I'll just keep them for extra spares, as after the dealings so far, I could tell a refund because he made a mistake would have been a bit much for him to process. If I could give this place "0" stars I would. Will not return unless this is a last resort, and even then it is questionable.
Owners are very prompt, service is excellent and what matters most,the owner is honest.
