I went there for a rim for a F-150 which turned out to be a 16-inch rim but I had to return it overall how did refund my $50 cash back which I'm very grateful because most places don't give refunds back thanks Al
I bought a Starter for my Genesis a few months ago, It arrived 5 days later looking worn & dirty! I called them they refused to refund my money! I did have my mechanic install it only for it to go out & fry my battery 5 months later! They don’t stand behind the parts they sell & there pure junk! Never Again!
We were looking for a specific OEM sensor, and ended up finding one. The owner said he was just going to charge us a couple bucks, but we didn't have cash. Said the minimum on a card was $10, and that he wasn't going to charge us $10 for it, so just to take it and to remember him. I definitely do, and would recommend his salvage yard to anyone
I've been going to Al's for as long as I can remember, I remember going with my old man when I was a kid and just recently I took my first born son out there to find fenders for his Durango and as always they had them and for a great price. The yard is remarkably well organized for a junkyard which really makes finding parts easy. Hopefully my son will be able to take his son's there someday for parts for his flying car or whatever there driving then.
Norm is a parts God! Always helpful to get you what you need and if he doesn't have it he will steer you in the right direction or help you to get you what you need!
I’ve been frequenting this location since I was a teenager. Never disappointed when I’m there typically find the parts. I’m looking for more often than not kind of a little bit of a drive but worth the commute. Good job, Al.
I had a great experience here. I called ahead of time to make sure they had what I needed he quoted me a price and when I arrived he not only found me the best looking part he also lowered the price and carried it to my car for me!
Excellent customer service which is becoming more and more rare! I will definitely recommend and tell everyone I know to be using this salvage yard.
Been coming to this place since the 90s. Other places were rude and charged a fortune. This place always let you go in their yard and get what you need for a great price. As long as that stays the same I don't have much reason to go elsewhere.
I've been going here since the early 1980's, glad they are still in service. Friendly people work here, good prices, I will be back, not many self serve auto salvage yards left today. Bring your own tools, people on site to guide you in the right direction.
Then going there since I was a kid one of the few junk yards you can actually walk into without being charged of course you have to be cautious because you are going to be around vehicles and some of them won't be secured and by secured I referred to if one is stacked on top of another one don't bring the kids unfortunately cuz that's when I used to go as a child
Two stars since it's a pick and pull and there aren't many left. Otherwise what was once I would rate a 5 star yard has dropped significantly in the last few years. Vehicle turnover has slowed and prices are now in eBay range. I can have something delivered to my door for what it takes to drive there and remove on my own most times. Better options around. It's too bad, what was once probably the best in the area has changed, not sure why. On a warm Spring Saturday what would once be very busy was sparce with customers too.
Norm is great, others working the counter are hit or miss
Called on Friday was told I could get a receipt written up for a previous transaction..went in the following Monday (today) and the guy i spoke to said he was the manager and would not help me out. I need proof of purchase and cost for a court case and he just couldn't seem to help me out so I can get paid back. My car was broken into. I'm trying to get the money paid back to me. Without proof I will lose my case. I'm disappointed. I grew up coming here with my stepdad. Always been a great place. But this left a nasty taste in my mouth. Not as helpful as I once thought. Wont be back.
Norms great and is 100x nicer to customers than any salvage yard around with few exceptions(there's a few other good yards) but Al's is my go to salvage yard. Great service great selection great prices. I highly recommend als!! but it's not for rookies if your pulling your own parts🤣
Great guys, great service, honest, fair, and most of the time they go above and beyond. I called Al's and they got parts for me that I couldn't find and at reasonable price. I've not only bought parts I'm on my third car and sure to buy a few more.
Ive be3n going to this place for over 25 years, but unfortunately I haven't been there for about 10 years. I found out about this place by going with a friend and Norm was working there and still is. He always made me feel better ike we were old friends and always gave me the best deal for what I needed and sometimes he gave me the part for no cost.
Always the best prices around and they almost always have what you need in stock too! One of the few remaining yards around that still allow YOU to pull your parts off yourself and save money! If you prefer to just have them do it... that's available too!
I used to frequent this place because they were helpful and knowledgable. Turns out norm is the only one who knows the what's what about that place. When I go there I only tall to him, the others can a long walk off a short pier. Last time I visited, I was looking for a 1yr only part and the guy I spoke to(not norm) couldn't figure out what "1yr only part" meant. I havent been there since, which sucks because I enjoyed chatting with norm and walking around the yard checking out the vehicles.
Had plenty of inventory of what we were looking for.. knowledgeable staff.. of which were very nice .. call before hand to make sure they have the car your looking for... But definitely worth a trip out there !
Greetings Norman took care of me the guy has been there 20 plus years additionally I'm going here 40 plus years.
Service was outstanding was totally amazed at the customer service appreciation will I come back always awesome job guys everyone !
Rating would be 10 / 110% satisfaction.
Al's is a great place to get parts from. After a recent incident I called around for the part that I need and Al's was the cheapest and the most knowledgeable. The person at the counter remembered me calling for the part we needed.I asked. for a receipt and then lost it.After searching for the lost receipt I called Al's and asked if i could get a copy of the receipt and he said he will gladly give me a receipt. Al's is going to be the first place I call for parts. The guy at the counter needs a raise. He is very friendly and great customer service.
Love the joint, its a throwback place. Norman can pretty much find anything you may need! The road leading to entrance is virtual artwork of classic cars going back to the 40s.
I don't go there mutch anymore but I went with a friend that knows the counter guy and I was interested in some hub caps on a 62 ford that has Ben there forever and his price was more than the swap meet. He was asking Internet prices which has screwed up everything.
