Very good customer service. Someone was able to help us with a flat tire as soon as we needed it. They also helped get us two new tires quickly. I appreciated their immediate help!

Best experience I've had at an auto shop yet! Very kind people who were patient and explained everything well to make sure I understood what was going on, why it needed to be fixed, and how they would do it. 10/10 would recommend!

Huge shout out to Ed's! I had a fast leak in my tire and a very busy day. After calling my normal car places and not able to get same day help (This happened around 3pm), I tried Ed's. He not only fit me in but the service was super fast and reasonably priced. Thank you for saving the day!

Replaced all four of my tires on my car quick and no problems like you get at Matt’s Auto or at Walmart. I will be bringing my truck in to get those replaced also. Very nice mechanics there and honest hard work.

Was lookn for couple used tires. Told me had size I needed but not time that day to put on so referred me elsewhere. They were able to do it

We used Ed’s to tow our vehicle. City of La Crosse streets are so bad, a pothole caused us to pop two tires on our vehicle. Tow driver promptly arrived and then towed our vehicle 30 miles back to our home in a terrible snowstorm. I would definitely recommend this company.

Joe went above and beyond for me! He towed my car and knew what was wrong. He then found the part and fixed my car the next day so I could get home which is 4 hours away! Thank you!

Used Ed's initially for towing services, but after Dahl Ford couldn't get my car in for over a month (!!), Joe volunteered to take a look at it. He fixed 99% of the issues and prices were fair.

Edd seems like a nice enough guy and an honest worker. But we stopped to have our non functioning AC checked out while on vacation . The problem went from low Freon to a small leak to a small leak, to a full on system melt down. Our home mechanic looked at it and said due to unnecessary roughness, pipes and parts need to be replaced costing us upwards of 2 grand. To be fair, Edd did not charge us for the time, but it’s going to cost us a lot more than the equipment used.

Joe is always helpful and tries to work our vehicles in so that he can get them done as soon as possible... especially my D.O.T. Inspections.

If there was a zero star option that would be the best way to go. Call for service at 3pm through AAA. Time estimate was initially 1 hour. AAA called back and extended the time estimate another hour. It's now 5:50pm, (almost 3 hours later) no service and no one is answering the phone. AAA should drop this service center immediately. Guess I have to figure out how to get my vehicle to the next stop and find someone competent enough to actually provide service.

AAA Tried to set me up with this company. While trying to get things worked out for my tow. The lady on the phone was very rude to me when I asked a legal tow question. She hung up on me. That only caused me to not do business with them today or any time in the future. Truly their loss because I used Rush Hour Towing out of Sparta who were friendly and speedy.

Very honest staff. Mechanic was able to diagnose & fix my car quickly so I could get to the hospital. Highly recommend

Update May 2019: Took it into Honda for diagnostic since my anti lock brake system and vehicle stability control light keeps coming on. Turns out Ed’s put the lower control arm bearing in backwards so it’s throwing off abs and avs. Honda is quoting me $360 so instead of taking it back to Ed’s I’ll shell out more cash/time or do it myself. I left them a message asking if they could assist me in paying for it because i don’t want to Take it back there but i doubt that will happen. Update: Took my car in again to get some work done. It was supposed to take about 2 days, it took 8 days (6 business days). There was confusion with the parts and that was fine but I was never contacted. I had to contact them to find out I wasn't going to have my car for the weekend. I ended up getting a rental. I was called and they told me my car was done on Monday. I returned my rental. I showed up and the car wasn't done. One of the mechanics threw a fit in the back room kicking something across the room. The next day I was told my car was done again and the abs, stability control, and parking brake light was on. None of them worked. They ended up fixing that because they broke it. I came back and asked if they could take some off the bill which was over $750 just for labor because I was told it was done numerous times when it wasn't and had to pay over $250 in transportation. The lady at the desk yelled at me so I just left. They replaced all my brakes and now the car grinds on the side that they worked on. It also clunks and pulls to one side. I had to take it in to get it aligned again because they bumped it out of alignment. I'm not sure if they messed something up or even fixed it. Now I have to go somewhere else after paying over $1500 for parts, labor, and transportation when I could have just took it somewhere more reliable in the first place. I thought I was going to save a little money and that backfired. Take it somewhere more reliable and you will save money in the long run. My car broke down on I94 due to my spark plug backing out overtime and blowing out because there were only a couple threads holding it in. I had my car towed there through my insurance that night and it was fixed within a few days. Instead of going to the more expensive route John rethreaded it for me at a reasonable price. This is the only experience I have had and my car is running good so far. I would recommend Ed's based on my first experience.

I got completely stuck today. Ed’s had someone there in less than 30 minutes to pull me out. Driver was so friendly and efficient, despite the cold. Price was very reasonable and I would call them again anytime.

Very unhappy with the service I recieved from this business it does not take over 2 hours to change out a tire. They did not offer me the option of recycling my old tire the charged me for instead. The estimate I got was way less than what I payed. I know I will not use this business ever again. Plus while my car was sitting they allowed it to run and waste my gas.

Didn't have a good experience. I would go somewhere else. Like I did. Update: Got my car removed from the lot after they gave me an insane quote and said I needed to replace my starter and alternator. Went to an amazing mechanic (Luke's auto repair) and he said it was just the battery. Car is now and has been fine for some time. Run from this place. These guys are so terrible I am considering pursuing charges for fraud against. AAA should be ashamed of themselves for sending people through them.

Extremely rude at the scene of an accident. We have a wrecker service, too, and this driver could learn a thing or two or ten about customer service, empathy, compassion, etc. Our own wrecker service was on its way to tow our vehicle. We understand you can’t leave a disabled vehicle in the middle of an intersection so Ed’s needed to tow it to the nearest safe place...maybe half a block??? ...charged $131. When my son advised he had $125 on him and my husband would be there in a few minutes as he was just exiting the interstate (an estimated 5 minutes from the scene), the driver hooked back on to the vehicle and threatened to take off with our son’s truck...over $6! Couldn’t wait 5 minutes for the $6? This driver also told my son he shouldn’t be out running red lights...hmmm...he’s sure he had a green light. It’s called an “accident” for a reason. The principle of this comment is what is so disheartening. Kick him while he’s down! He also advised our son he has seen people med-flighted from scenes like this. Thank you, Captain Obvious. We have seen our fair share of critical scenes, too. Little do you know our son is getting a jump start on his career as a Paramedic and was just leaving EMT class. He’s also in his last semester of high school. Bad kid that needs to be ridiculed, right? ...especially while in a state of shock while trying to comprehend what just happened. Thank goodness no one was injured. There are witnesses to this wrecker driver’s behavior as well. Despicable!!

I'm Bobby a tow truck operator for Eds towing and recovery in la crosse wi, i have only been working there a few months now and im trying my best to make customers happy and help people get to where they need to go. I recommend eds service center to anyone looking for great service towing and mechanical wise, Joe (owner shop manager) , Larry, (mechanic) and Nick (mechanic) are excellent at there jobs and outstanding guys who know excatly what they are doing to keep ur vehicles up and running. I would and do take my personal vehicles to them to be worked on and at a very reasonable price. Im not saying this cuz i work here im saying this cuz its the truth and everyone deserves the best work done to their vehicle at reasonable price and done in a timely fashion to keep u moving!

I had a recent break down 70 miles from home. Their towing was the most reasonable. Their service was timely and well communicated. 5 year customer with no complaints.

I had a limited experience with them where they towed my car to the lot. I called to get a few things out of the car and they sent someone out to unlock the gate for me. I had a good experience with them and they seem like very good people.

It was eye opening to see how crooked a business can be and still be open to the public. I made the mistake of having the oil changed in both cars while my daughter was having her birthday party at high rollers. My fault for not getting the price in advance--$75 dollars per car! Without a gun! Regular oil. I thought it must be because they knew I was from out of town but based on other comments here I think they just screw everyone dumb enough to go there.

Joe is an amazing mechanic, he is super nice whenever I have an issue. He is the most honest mechanic that I have ever dealt with!

My husband was in an accident. This is the company the LCPD called. They were nice enough on site. Asked them to tow it to OUR mechanic and were told they did not have a agreement with them so we would pay or they could take it and after insurance got done with their part they could do what we want or leave the car with them for payment... car was totaled. My husband was found at fault so it was not worth the repair cost since we had liability only. Went there to get the plates. My husband was meet by the same guy who said we owed them money, when my husband reminded him of what he said to us he threatend my husband and said it was not a threat it was a promise. When we took the title there to finish it a day later the car was no longer there.. sell it for parts???? Threatening violence and treating people like crap .. horrible.

Ed's has always treated me really well. They get me in quick, and get me finished quick. In all the years I've had work done to my vehicles they have never caused me a problem.

Do not use! When they pulled out of the parking lot with our car in tow, our car dropped off their hauler into the middle of a busy street. Our car was towed on a Saturday. On Monday morning, when we contacted them to tell them we wanted to have the car serviced by our local garage instead of Ed's, they wouldn't release our car until we paid a $100 storage fee.
