Worst place you can try to get a dumpster. First they want a contract before even providing a service....then many promise dates of actually providing a service or dumpster delivery....then bill you for what you never recieved.....my computer says....stick with a smaller somewhat local company if you can....these guys are way to big and forgot what service is....
They lie to you to sign their contract and then do what they want. I was lied to about my pickup day and billing. I was told my bill would be $97 a month for 2 dumps and it's now $175.
Avoid at all cost. Worst experience one could ever have. This company will lie to get you sign the contract and increase your price randomly with no base.
- My price got almost doubled after a few month with no notification nor justification (gas? Labor? No explanation because their team just want to increase it).
- When I call in, they negotiated the price down a bit and asked me to renew my three contract with a written promise that the price will be locked for three years.
- Price got increased again within a few month, called in, of course they didn't respect the written proof I got. I was barely able to get a credit to compensate my loss.
- Price increased again after a few month, again without notice. I'm so pissed so I called in to cancel. Then I was notified that I need to pay for 6 month extra and a $300 removal fee. Turned out the 6 month notification (funny that they didn't bother to let me know until the price is increased but expect me to let them know half year ahead) is written in small font in the second contract I signed. I explicitly asked if there was any termination fee when I signed and the agent told me none. But it's part of my fault without reading it through line by line. But the $300 removal fee is written nowhere and I was told that it's mandatory even if after I finish the 3 year contract.
- I was offered another opportunity to reduce my price (which is already $30 higher than my original) if I renew another three years. You can see their tricks here so anyone reading this do yourself a favor, cut the loss and leave.
Waste Management has been extremely frustrating to work with. Very very poor communication, missed pick-ups, billing confusion... our business had given WM many 'second chances' and finally realized this poor service would never change. We canceled service and now have been waiting for the dumpsters to be picked up for weeks. Soon these bins will become our property since WM is now trespassing with these left without permission. I've reached out requesting pick-up several times and have only gotten a vague 'next week or so'. We would rather pay more and have honest and clear communication than have to deal with the headaches WM has given us. I will never recommend WM to anyone ever.
Bulk pickup was a bad experience. Had 1 couch and 1 loveseat. Was told the charge would be $50 per. Fine. Didn't think I had another option. Then get the invoice and there was another $54 charged for an environmental fee!
