As an FYI, during the 1980's I was a field service tech for the industry leader in auto parts store computers. I've been in possibly 150 parts stores in my life, and have a pretty good idea of how they should operate. With that said, this one grabbed my attention. It's not a colorful chain store with TV ads and kids behind the counter, but rather experienced people who know more than their computer screens tell them. I was seeking a very common transmission filter / gasket, and an online search showed a nearby competing store having it in stock. Well, they couldn't find it, but happily offered a "gold" version for nearly twice the price. I walked out, remembered seeing this Auto Value store, and they not only had the parts, but in a choice of name brands for less money. I will definitely return.
