I brought my car into Andy’s Main Street Auto expecting a simple, one-hour job to replace my power steering and serpentine belts. What I got instead was a week-long, expensive mess that honestly should never have happened.
The first time I picked up my car from the guy, I was told everything was good to go. Within minutes of driving, I noticed a loud ticking noise coming from the belts. When I brought it back, instead of taking responsibility, Andy told me I needed another part and to come back Monday. In the meantime, the belts literally came off when I started my car, forcing me to pay for a tow back to the shop.
The worst part is, when my dad calls to figure out what was going on, Andy admitted he noticed an issue the first time he worked on my car but chose not to say anything because, in his words, “he’s just a kid and only asked for the belts.” That is completely unacceptable. As a young adult I may be ignorant to everything that needs to be replaced but I still feel like it’s basic decency to tell someone that a part needs to be changed or else the part will make you stranded on the side of the road.
After going back Monday and supposedly getting everything fixed, the issue came right back. Within ONE day and only a few starts of the car, the ticking returned and the belt already had visible damage again. I had to take it to another shop just to avoid being stranded.
What should have been a quick, straightforward repair turned into multiple trips, extra costs, a tow bill, and a lot of unnecessary stress. The lack of communication, poor workmanship, and dismissive attitude was as shocking as a new customer.
If you value your time, money, and safety, go somewhere else. After taking it to a different place already I am always being told that they don’t know how anyone can leave the belts on in good faith the way they were, they also told me where the problem was and Andy never mentioned this as well, so I’m assuming to him it’s my fault that I didn’t ask about it. I would not trust this place with even the simplest repair.
Our 2016 Town & Country van started making a chirping sound, and we needed to have it fixed before an upcoming road trip. I called multiple places in the area to get quotes and timeframes, and I’m so glad I contacted Andy’s Main Street Auto. They asked me to bring the van in the same day I called.

Tried a different shop. Took it to andys. They illegally changed a part on the vehicle. Never was notified about the change, until it was time to get the vehicle. Now with this info I will never go back. Also getting people involved to have the wrong done right. I do not recommend.
We had an issue with our truck on a cross country move and Kugar and Joey got us in right away with a repair and advice. Really friendly people and great service. Kugar even gave us a bag of cucumbers from his farm!
Andy and his crew are fantastic. Cordell's Automotive quoted me over $1,800 for repairs I suspected were unnecessary. Andy got the job done for just $340 problem solved, no upsell, no nonsense. Enough said!
My van's alternator went out and Andy not only told us to bring it in that day, but him and his crew also fixed it that same day! The other mechanic we called wouldn't even have been able to look at it for 8 days. Every time we have used Andy's we have been happy with the service, and this time was no exception. Would highly recommend Andy's to anyone needing a fair and honest mechanic with great service and pricing.

Let me start by saying andy is a great mechanic and has done great work IN THE PAST. My last experience with this business was awful. never tell a customer you could care less about their repair. you have lost all business from myself and anyone i know who has taken their vehicle there in the past.
