They put new tires on two of my vehicles, were very accommodating and gave me a good price. I drive 35 minutes to see these guys for tires and chassis work and I work on all my own vehicles so I have a lot of faith in Jed and his crew. They have yet to let me down. Also they did a little wheeling and dealing, and gave me a better cash price than their estimate so I was very pleased with that.
My 10 yr old truck had a lot of rust, but is mechanically sound with 77,000 mi. The way the vehicle market is, I decided it was better to have it fixed than buy a new one. They did an outstanding job. Very easy to deal with as well. My truck looks great. Highly recommend.
Owner Jed is amazing--one of the "good guys". Met him at a local auto parts store. On a holiday weekend, he offered to meet me at his shop to fix my wheel well panel (was rubbing on my tire). As good as new. Just then, I got my tailgate window stuck in the down position. He popped off the trim and panel, diagnosed the problem, got the window closed. We are very impressed with his straightforward approach, skill, and willingness to go above and beyond to help out a stranger. Definitely will trust him to take care of our vehicles in the future.
Came here out of proximity and convenience but was actually really impressed by the service. Have some knowledge of repair and prices and felt that the scope of work was accurate and price was fair.

Jed has been working on 6 different vehicles we have owned over the years, and he has always been forthright, honest, and direct. And his skill and ability is unmatched.
He will go above and beyond what other mechanics will do for you, and will tell you what needs to be fixed now, can wait until later, or should be considered down the road.
Given his years of experience, he's seen it all and can give greater insight into what is the possible cause of your vehicle's problems and the best way to fix it. He will also tell you when something isn't worth fixing and give you his honest assessment.

Had a clutch and slave cylinder replaced here. They did good work, clutch feels great and is holding up. Reasonable price. Sent flywheel out to get refinished as well. Called before doing anything extra. Let me bring my own parts.
Brought my sons car to Pilsen Auto to put a different engine in his car. Did a very thorough job and went through everything to be sure we wouldnt have to repair little things later. Very happy with their work.
