Be mindful from buying from them they don’t list the correct part for the specific vehicle your buying such waste of time and money. Shady business

Called spoke with Joe, I was looking for the overhead console on a Ford fusion. Luckily they had one. I just had to go out to the yard and make sure it was the correct one before the pulled it.

Jantz does not check their parts prior to selling them to make sure they are good. Was looking for a radiator so decided to travel from another city to Jantz Yard 4 to see about a radiator they said they had. Come to find out, the radiator they said they had was damaged while still in the car. They don't bother checking parts to make sure they are in good shape. Also, as I was looking for the radiator in the junk yard, I saw gas tanks filled with water in the trunks of their junked cars. That's very disorganized. Those parts are exposed to the elements and are damaged. How do they expect customers to pay for damaged parts?

I’ve been looking for the right axle for my truck and they were very helpful, polite, personable, and all around, kind. Everyone I saw working was working hard and doing a great job. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right. I’m very happy :)

definitely 5 stars. my car was stuck on the side of the road and they stayed open an extra 20 minutes so i could come get a spare and even had it ready for me for when i got there. definitely recommend whatever you need get it here!

They were some what helpful, but slow

E-mailed part request. Responded same day and I asked another part question via email, followed up with a call the next day (Friday before Labor Day) placed my order and parts arrived on Tuesday after Labor Day! Parts were exactly what was expected and phenomenally packaged! Will definitely use again.

Sent an email about a part I needed and they quickly responded, worked with me to clarify which resulted with getting exactly what I needed. Went there to pick-up and was impressed with the number of employees taking phone calls and how helpful they were with customers. Excellent place, very pleased.

I worked with Jeff and had a great experience. It is a salvage yard, so you have to understand that they can't just walk to a shelf and pick the part, it might take a little time to extract your part. Jeff sent updated pictures within 24 hours, other yards took days, if not weeks, and he was helpful in making sure that I got exactly the right part. I searched a number of yards around the Midwest and Jantz's prices were extremely competitive. I would highly recommend them.

I needed an OEM trailer brake controller for my 2019 F-150. I located the part online at carpart.com. Jason replied immediately to my request for a quote. A very reasonable price laid in was agreed too and the part shipped the same day. I got it installed this morning and it works great. I worked in the salvage industry for many years so my expectations were high. They exceeded my expectations with their service and part quality. Give these folks a chance to earn your business. You'll be glad you did!

As a consumer don’t expect too much customer service from this place. It is evident by the way they treated me that is not a priority for them. Go elsewhere. The parts are overpriced and the arrogance from some of the employee is disappointing. Save your money or buy parts where your business is appreciated. I usually don’t write reviews but I want others to avoid a negative experience. If you do run into Bob be aware that his customer service skills and ability to deal with a diverse client base is lacking.

They sold me fuel tank with water damage. There was no other available around so I’ve spend my time cleaning it. After installation fuel pump wouldn’t work. They didn’t have any replacement available so they told me to bring the pump and get refund for it. After I brought the pump for refund (1h drive with tolls each way) they told me they need whole sending unit for refund. I ask the if can get at least some money (only for fuel) just a pump o brought. Thy said would not do that. I’ve lost probably around 50$ into fuel and tolls already. Not including how much time I’ve spent to clean the tank removing fuel pump and driving back and forth twice. I’ve picked up many parts over the years from many other junk yards but this one is the worst so far. If they see you are out of state they know you will not come back and they want you drive back and forth.

I call ahead to make sure they have a part what I need, drive 1:30 min from Chicago. I come here they said that part is junk, same like this place.

One employee here I think his name is Bob is extremely rude I called asking for a part I explained my dad was on the way to his location and that he’d be there exactly at 5 o’clock I understand that they close at five but if maybe someone could possible wait up for 5min we live in Illinois and my father was at work all day and didn’t get off till 4pm he asked me well what were you doing all day and why didn’t you come earlier this is extremely unprofessional I understand that he and all his other workers would like to leave at 5 PM because that’s the time that they’re supposed to leave but at the same time waiting five minutes for someone who’s driving 45 minutes plus to get to your location and then being told well if he gets here at five no one will be here is a bit rude not to mention I’ve seen to speak to customers and is rude as well to them I feel like he could’ve handled the situation differently The other employees that I have spoken to have definitely seen much more professional and nice

Joey the salesman treated me like we were best friends. Easy to work with, never tried to out talk me and he was very knowledgeable.

I have done a lot of business with these guys over the past few years. Although they don't go overboard with the bedside manner, I can say they have never been rude. I can also say I have received what I ordered every time, professionally and correct at very fair prices.

Wow. Drove a ways to get a windshield. Super nice people. Even during pandemic . They where very respectful and knowledgeable. Quickly got parts and loaded them. No hassles. Low prices. Definitely will order more parts when needed. Worth the trip

Got a great fuel pump at a great price. Jason was polite, paid attention to my needs and shipped my part fast. Part arrived looking brand new, not at all like it was from a yard. I'll use these guys again!

Had a customer waiting on a part. Ordered it late Friday, was told it would be shipped out for me on Tuesday because they would pull it on Monday. Call on Tuesday to confirm delivery, I'm told they were too busy Monday, haven't even pulled the part yet. If anything they should have called to let me know so I could set things up differently with my customer. I had to call them to make sure they were going to come with the part, to find out they forgot about my order.... 70 mile drive to make sure my customer's not mad at me and they get their car back when I promised. Thanks alot Jantz!! They don't even let you check your items before you pay for them, give them to you damaged, then there's a no return policy. What a shithole!!

I went there today for a part for my 2008 Nissan Xterra. The man behind the desk was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They got the part I needed within minutes and explained the install. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!!

I went to Jantz to pick up a part for my car. I waited 20 minutes for the gentlemen to serve the customers before me and receive phone calls. Certainly reasonable. However when "Bob" finishes his current task he decides to ask the cute girl who JUST walked in "How can I help you?" Since I didn't want to be rude I left and am taking my money elsewhere. Thanks Bob ! top notch service for hot chicks

I called Jantz to ask for a part to be pulled so when I made the 45 minute drive to pick it up, it would be ready. The guy who answered the phone said that it would be better for me to stop in and they would pull the part when I arrived. I arrived, and they told me that it would take too long to pull and they would close before it could be done so I would need to come back another day and made several excuses as to why the other person told me to do that. Yes, I made the drive the next day and got the part I needed, but it does not excuse their laziness on both days for how this was handled. Poor customer service, but the part I needed was in the shape/condition that they informed me it was.

there are few business as tough to please people as a Junk yard./auto parts recycle yard. Today I was treated professionally . yes I waited but' there were legit customers in front of me. I saw people walk in with attitude because their car is broken. New Parts are expensive and most people who go to the Yard. are shade tree mechanics , hobby newbies DIY who think it is easy and my part is just a part..Each person was handled in turn .. They did go out of the way to help curtain people though .. A Guy on Crutches they took a fan assembly to the car. .. A lady with kids in the car. I got my parts about 30 percent lower than other places. and their inventory system was great . they told me the vin number. So when I called to verify at the dealership that I had the right part. Mitch took the time to explain why my mirror with lights part number depended on electric seats.. I ask why , a bit frustrated and he calmly said it was because of the wiring plug was different . He took a potential frustration and helped me understand. . and man they cranked out a customers out each 5 to 7 minuets. After reading the bad complaints you can see which ones did not understand how Junk Yards. .I would go to Jantz's Yard 4 and recommend it to my family. simple as that.

Ordered a used part here. It came in and was found to be broken upon their inspection. A new part came in and I installed it. It works perfectly! Thank you guys for paying close attention to the parts you sell.

I read Revie’s online and found mixed reviews. However, an associate Joe was mentioned several times with great Reviews. I called to ask about parts for a Volvo XC90. The individual was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They had almost all the parts I needed. I asked the individual for his name and ironically it was Joe. I can see why he received great reviews. I arrived and again out of 4 individuals I somehow got Joe again. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. However, everyone there seemed very knowledgeable as I listened to conversations. The process was very easy. Only issue is an understandable wait time. Joe looked up the vehicle, identified the available parts and let me know if I needed anything else I could request it while in the yard. Joe then called Dave who was the individual driving me to the available Volvo XC90s. He was extremely helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. I was very impressed how organized the process was. Dave knew exactly what to do and where to get the parts. I recommend calling early in the morning and most important calling before you go to confirm you do not waste a trip. The welsite also listed some of what I needed. Thank you Joe and Dave. Saved almost $300 on parts.
