Jantz’s Yard 4 not only stores all of their salvage units in weatherproof warehouses and salvages the units ASAP upon the vehicle’s arrival, they also had in store for me one of the rarest, lowest mileage advanced CVT transmissions in the entire country. One so hard to find, that the only other recourse was sourcing directly from Japan. I was escorted into the warehouse to see the part, welcomed warmly and spoken to in a personal, human manner. All their staff are really cool people. Joey, especially; at the front desk is a very polite, understanding and negotiable man. Not only was i granted an amazing discount, but i was also granted an additional relevant part free of charge as well. These guys are so cool that upon myself coming to terms with the cold, hard reality that my new unit (despite my confidence) was electronically incompatible with my PCM and ECU due to being too advanced in unit revisions; they refunded me without a restock fee even though proof of an attempt to reprogram was a prerequisite to getting refunded. They understood my situation and how i couldn’t get it programmed even if i tried (because i was being an overconfident fool) so they took into account my circumstance of falling into human error / bad judgement. I left this place feeling graced and it feels wrong for their time to have been wasted by my overconfidence and giddiness to pull off a transmission swap that was plausible, but never done before and too risky to attempt (especially in a state multiple away). The amount of time i put to waste that these people faithfully lended to me that was not asked of me to be repaid is the type of conviction i wish i encountered more in businesses. Because of them, i am not out $600 and my foolishness did not end up becoming an emergency while out of state. I couldn’t recommend Jantz’s (and Joey) enough; they have a beautifully stored and catered collection of parts, with a staff and business flow flexibility that is hard to come by in many other areas of life.
I was seeing some wheels from an obscure 90s car and saw they had it. Jason sent me 2 photos of the wheels and wow were they nice. He was easy to work with and got everything handled via email and 1 phone call, despite me being 2000 miles away. I wish more "junk yards" were like this!
Needed a tire and rim in an emergency. They went above and beyond, within 15 minutes of calling they had everything ready for me so I could quickly grab it and go on my way to the damaged vehicle

My car window was broken from criminals around my area. Bobby found me a new window and (forgot the other guys name) cleaned every bit of glass on all 5 of my seats and installed the new window in a matter of two hours. I work for a shop, and we need SOLID vendors. I popped in here to test them by asking for a couple " Nickle / dime " parts. The guy on the far left ( as you come thru the front door) ghosted me in grand fashion. We will now buy from other sources. Thanks for showing your true colors,immediately!. I know you have PLENTY of loyal customers, and my shops business wouldn't have been life changing for Jantz, but when giants, like Sears and Kmart DIE.....
Even though we gave them the VIN number, they sent us the wrong colored part. When we asked for a replacement, they said we would have to pay the shipping fee! Me and the guy i worked with called the store 10 minutes ago again. They didn’t take the responsibility. The sales guy transferred us to the owner and owner didn’t replied. Sent us to the voicemail. They are not professional at all in their work.
Joe helped with obtaining a spare for my Mercedes, had great communication and excellent customer service and a great item. Kinda a drive, but with the service I received, I would definitely come back. Thanks again

Sent an email about a part I needed and they quickly responded, worked with me to clarify which resulted with getting exactly what I needed. Went there to pick-up and was impressed with the number of employees taking phone calls and how helpful they were with customers. Excellent place, very pleased.
Called spoke with Joe, I was looking for the overhead console on a Ford fusion. Luckily they had one. I just had to go out to the yard and make sure it was the correct one before the pulled it.
Terrible customer service. Called ahead to make sure the part was there and ready to be picked up which he struggled to do. I then drive 1 hour and 30 minutes and I get there and wait 30 minutes to be told they can’t get the transfer case off the transmission. Best to avoid this place. Pt2: ended up giving them another chance because I really wanted the part they had and I regret it. Customer service was a little better. I got my transfer case and they put a hole in it while trying to separate it from the transmission before I explained to them where the last bolt was. Terrible scrap yard.
I needed an OEM trailer brake controller for my 2019 F-150. I located the part online at carpart.com. Jason replied immediately to my request for a quote. A very reasonable price laid in was agreed too and the part shipped the same day. I got it installed this morning and it works great. I worked in the salvage industry for many years so my expectations were high. They exceeded my expectations with their service and part quality. Give these folks a chance to earn your business. You'll be glad you did!
They sold me fuel tank with water damage. There was no other available around so I’ve spend my time cleaning it. After installation fuel pump wouldn’t work. They didn’t have any replacement available so they told me to bring the pump and get refund for it. After I brought the pump for refund (1h drive with tolls each way) they told me they need whole sending unit for refund. I ask the if can get at least some money (only for fuel) just a pump o brought. Thy said would not do that. I’ve lost probably around 50$ into fuel and tolls already. Not including how much time I’ve spent to clean the tank removing fuel pump and driving back and forth twice. I’ve picked up many parts over the years from many other junk yards but this one is the worst so far. If they see you are out of state they know you will not come back and they want you drive back and forth.
E-mailed part request. Responded same day and I asked another part question via email, followed up with a call the next day (Friday before Labor Day) placed my order and parts arrived on Tuesday after Labor Day! Parts were exactly what was expected and phenomenally packaged! Will definitely use again.
As a consumer don’t expect too much customer service from this place. It is evident by the way they treated me that is not a priority for them. Go elsewhere. The parts are overpriced and the arrogance from some of the employee is disappointing. Save your money or buy parts where your business is appreciated. I usually don’t write reviews but I want others to avoid a negative experience. If you do run into Bob be aware that his customer service skills and ability to deal with a diverse client base is lacking.
Wow. Drove a ways to get a windshield. Super nice people. Even during pandemic . They where very respectful and knowledgeable. Quickly got parts and loaded them. No hassles. Low prices. Definitely will order more parts when needed. Worth the trip
Got a great fuel pump at a great price. Jason was polite, paid attention to my needs and shipped my part fast. Part arrived looking brand new, not at all like it was from a yard. I'll use these guys again!
I worked with Jeff and had a great experience. It is a salvage yard, so you have to understand that they can't just walk to a shelf and pick the part, it might take a little time to extract your part. Jeff sent updated pictures within 24 hours, other yards took days, if not weeks, and he was helpful in making sure that I got exactly the right part. I searched a number of yards around the Midwest and Jantz's prices were extremely competitive. I would highly recommend them.
I have done a lot of business with these guys over the past few years. Although they don't go overboard with the bedside manner, I can say they have never been rude. I can also say I have received what I ordered every time, professionally and correct at very fair prices.
