This location is Kenosha, WI... It is a very huge store and trust me you will get lost... The only thing I did not like was the lack of Organic fruit and Vegetables along with what they had the food was spoiling on the shelf or after buying one bag of Oranges they were no good by day two... Make sure you inspect the fruit and vegetables here
This super store is huge. You can get all kind of grocery. Every segment has dedicated aisle. Cheese, fruits, vegetables, drinks, meet and self chexk out desk.
I like shopping woodmans for multiple reason from prices, to selection of food and products, and some of the friendly employees when I needed help with something. However, today I decided to check out at a cashier instead of self checkout since I had quite a bit of groceries today. The cashier was ok. Didn't smile or say Hello. The bagger is what really did it. She just threw my food into the bag and tossed the bag into the shopping cart. First of all, that was extremely rude. For my food to be handled rough, you are gonna bruise my vegetables, smash my bread, smash the tomatoes. Break the jar of pickles. My heads of lettuce is not a basketball to be thrown around. Please teach your baggers to be more careful handling the food they bag up for customers. Some of us don't have extra money to replace the damaged items.
Always a good experience. Clean aisles, plenty of room to move and the shelves were stocked. Produce dept is always clean and well displayed. This store can get very busy at times. They need to be more aggressive at covering the registers to shorten the lines. That is the only negative. I really like this store.
I always use the 20+ self checkouts so that I can bag my own groceries and pay with cash. Today I go there and I can't use them unless I have a debit card or discover card. I then have to go to a register and wait in line for 5 minutes because there is only 2 registers open. I try to tell the person bagging on how to bag my groceries only to have the line back up more. My question is woodman is a store that only accepts cash, debit card or discover card, but you can't use cash at the self checkouts?
Great selection and likely any ingredient you may need is here, but with this amount of options it is difficult to find specific items sometimes. Stopped in to pick up a couple things and spent the majority of my time going back and forth where the item should be according to the (usually super helpful) aisle map on the web page before finally finding it in another section.
They have the best cheese and processed meat selection of any store I have ever been in. Also their asian selection is larger than any non-asian grocery store i have been in outside west coast. Produce selection is great especially good deals usually to be had on red peppers, zucchini and value sized lettuce. I
First time ever experiencing Woodmans and wow, what a treat. It's gigantic compared to the grocery stores I'm used to. The prices are very fair. Plus I love that it's employee owned.
This place is amazing. HUGE!! The workers are always very kind and helpful. The prices are amazing, and to top it off there are no taxes on food items!! I drive an hour and a half every week to come shopping here!! Truly a "one of a kind" market!! 5 Stars!!
Clean, organized, and well stocked. Very affordable pricing on food AND liquor. Hubby and I no longer live in Wisconsin but make it a point to stop and shop when we are passing thru.
Wow! Love it. I got lost inside. Fortunately there was enough food for me to survive for five days! I met others who became lost inside also... we started a facebook page.
I had never seen a place like Woodman's Food Market. I was in awe upon entering. The staff was helpful, the aisle were wide. And there were so much of everything. Just aisles upon aisles of the same thing. I can honestly say that, this was the biggest grocery store I'd ever been in. I loved it.
Love the Woodman's Stores. Best grocery store. Lots of choices. Everything's usually in stock. Can find products I can't find in any other grocery stores and products I haven't seen for years. Great prices. Wish there were more Woodman's around.
Had great difficulty finding staff to help me find an item that was only labelled as being within their very large dairy section. I spoke to two people who were stocking but were apparently only vendors and could not help me find the item I was looking for. Ended up giving and finding it elsewhere
Like anywhere else some prices are high and some are lower. Produce always seems to be the better price. Meats are way up there. That’s why I shop different stores to get the best prices for items at different stores.
First time being here. The store is massive, You need a directory when you walk through. Great selection on everything- Food, drink or vegetable wise. The staff was hard to find but friendly after you found them. I think they had 3 bathrooms in the place. The liquor store had about 8 aisles of everything you could imagine.
I don't mean to sound disrespectful or be insensitive to anyone when I say this, but this particular Woodmans is like the Mecca of grocery stores in my opinion. This store is the size of a shopping mall and has just about everything food related known to exist here. The Woodmans store closer to where I live, in Buffalo Grove just pales in comparison. We average about 3 trips a year here and I've never had a bad shopping experience. Like I posted in my review for the Buffalo Grove store. I wish Woodmans would have better and more personalized coupons and promotions. But I'm not sweating that. The cheese aisle is genuinely one of the most impressive things about this store. It has just about everything Mars sells, at a fraction of the price. Also of note, the store is slightly cheaper than the stores in Illinois. That shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Normally I dislike choosing favorites on things, but there is no question here. This store is number 1 for me and my favorite trip here is always my next one!
I’m so grateful for Woodman’s!! When another retailer canceled my delivery order for dog food the only place open was Woodmans. Good the dog feed and a new store to shop at! Thanks for being 24 hours!

Their produce section is one of the best I’ve ever seen — fresh, colorful, and fully stocked. We recently organized a Teacher Appreciation Week at our elementary school and needed specific-colored items for themed days. After visiting multiple other stores with no luck, Woodman's came through with everything we needed! We couldn’t have pulled it off without them.

Just the best grocer around.ore variety than you ever knew that you needed. So much fresh produce, meat, cheese, bread. My favorite grocery store to shop at. Prices very reasonable. Just be aware they only accept Discover for credit cards. I did not know that my first time and had to use the ATM. No visa or master card
They have everything you could ever imagine and everything is set at a fair price. I’ve been to grocery stores and supermarkets all over the world and I was VERY impressed with Woodman’s. I wish they had one in Florida. It’s amazing!
