I had a great experience. My basement had backed up with cat3 water so I had a lot to dispose of. The hours are a little inconvenient but the process was easy and the attendants were helpful.

Called after they refused to pick up the garbage on the day they missed it to be told I had to wait till monday 3 days later called 3 times on Monday to get a “supervisor” that has a bad attitude because it’s 3 pm and his guys are going home it’s not my fault that the trash can is on the street and a car parks next to it on a public road the can has wheel the driver can move the van but just chooses to be lazy and drive past the cans that have vehicles parked by them this trash company has been the absolute worst they knock full cans over leave all the trash on the road like have some pride in your job

I just want to say that you have one young man who does a stellar job there. Took out 3 trash bags after hours, and made the world a better place. Thanks, Kyle!

Horrible customer service. I called for a bulk pick up and I was asked to name each item they will be picking up. I have lived in Kenosha 15 years and never had to provide a list of items before they would schedule it.

Its a couple of times where they have missed my garbage but taken everybody else stuff. And too answerr Brent question they throw all the garbage on a bunch lines ran by a conveying belt. Its about 5 peoppe.on each side and they throw it down separate shoots .

I've lost count how many garbage cans they have broke. They just throw them down anywhere. Something needs to be done about their destruction of personal property.

These guys are super nice and straight forward and they close up only when they have to so you cant wait until saturday afternoon to drop your stuff off. I wish they were able to have longer hours, but its not up to them its up to the container space and how long it takes to fill up. Kind of odd that you have to go to lou's to get a ticket and I literally never feel confident that I am estimating the cubic feet of stuff that I have, but its really convenient to have a drop off ten minutes away.

I literally have on camera the worker opening my trash can and picking one bag out of it to their truck. The rest of the garbage remained in there. There wasn’t recycling or anything in there. Just garbage. These people are lazy and it’s a guess every week whether or not my garbage is going to be picked up properly

Not sure if this is normal. However we are supposed to separate recycling and trash into different colored bags; Friday morning I watched the Kenosha city employee throw both garbage and recycling into the same garbage truck in the same compartment and compress it.....I’m curious how does this now get separated at the dump? I would imagine all the bags just rip apart and combine. Seems like a scam and like they shouldn’t have any grants from the government for their “recycling”. This needs to be outsourced. I would rather pay bi monthly for a contract than give tax dollars to Kenosha for this service. Plus we would also get actual garbage and recycling bins with fewer limitations; as well as no garbage just laying on the curbs like a bunch of degenerates. They can get rid of the abundance of employees and use the tax dollars elsewhere. Considering how you also have to pay out of pocket to have any city sidewalk in front your house repaired. What a bunch of bs. Anyone with answers please educate me or correct me if I’m wrong.

I've worked with this office on both weekly / biweekly pickups and bulk disposal for several years. While details of bulk pickup can get confusing, the job always seems to get done - and done right. Staying on schedule during inclement weather (and holidays) is also challenging, yet they always seem to make it work.

Hands down worst customer service for a city worker. Simply wanted information on if there were any limitations on to what could be picked up for a curb side service and couldn't get any simple answer. They kept insisting on scheduling an appointment and wanted my address when all I was looking for was information. Should have expected that from a city worker though, almost as bad as the union workers.
