Our car broke down in Dodgeville Wisconsin after a week at RAGBRAI
It was Saturday evening and with very little options I ended up staying two nights until Marks Auto opened on Monday am
While they were completely booked they managed to find an afternoon opening which luckily shifted earlier due to another vehicle needing parts. I hadn’t expected to hear from them till later that afternoon but was called at 11:30 am by Chris to say the car was all set with a new starter installed

great customer service, But over priced, $135/hr charged me $200 to bleed my cooling system. Also my overflow reservoir hose wasn’t reconnected. Did not diagnose the issue, ended up breaking down the next day.

Excellent service. Mark picked up my vehicle, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had me back on the road in a couple of business days. His estimate was pretty accurate to the final cost, his labor costs are fair, and there's a warranty for the services performed. The next time I have an issue, I'll be coming here again. Thanks Mark.
Now this is where you want to bring your vehicle for great work. Marks fixed my car with no problems. This shop is reasonable on the price. Also this shop has so much memorabilia in it you'll pass the time away just by admiring all of it. Great mechanics great shop and great customer service. I have no complaints with this business. If you every need your car looked at or worked on give these guys a try.
I went here for ac repair for my 99 F150. They quoted me $1150 for the repair and told me the compressor alone would be $600. I called oreillys and the compressor was only $200. I was told they have to mark up the prices to make money. I paid for diagnostics and left. Got right back on the phone and called another local shop and they’re going to do the same repair for $580! So these guys literally tried to charge me double the repair cost. If I were you I’d call around before I go to these guys.
Friendly down to earth and not trying to cheat you. Found out what was wrong with my MINI Cooper and got me back on the road. He even gave me a ride home and picked me up when my car was done. Kudos to Mark and his whole staff.
Great Service, always friendly & honest! They pick my Vehicle up from my work change my oil & rotate my tires & I don't even know it was gone. They give you free quotes for anything else they may notice while doing your routine care. Always a pleasure working with them.

We were unexpectedly stranded in Dodgeville with a dead car. Mark's not only sourced a part for a 15-year-old car in just a few hours, they loaned us a car so we could still use our tickets at a local tourist attraction (the reason for the trip). In short, they're awesome.
I brought my car in after my friend recommended this place. I came from Madison and it was well worth my drive. Very friendly and honest staff. I just wanted to say that Mark's Auto Repair really is the best place to go for all you auto needs. I speak from experience. Many times has my car given me trouble (almost to the point of no return) and Mark's Auto repair has come through with the awesome crew of workers.
So, that's my 2 cents worth of experience with Mark's Auto Repair. Just try them if your unsure. They'll answer any questions you may have and each one is knowledgeable in your car, truck, suv, or what ever you may be being driving. They'll even lose a few dollars to keep a customer. Sometimes they'll even cut down a high price of a item to make sure you can afford it. That's a good job in keeping a customer in coming back more and more. I know, I'm one of them it happened too. also after 5 oil changes the next one is free with the card which is free. Just ask for it at the desk.
