Went in for an alignment because I had new tires put on and asked Mark when I got there to just let me know if the tierods need to be replaced, not to do them. His response was "No, you're here for an alignment. I'm not wasting time putting the truck up and down. You get what you get." I should've just left and went somewhere else at that point, but I didn't because whatever people have bad days and get moody, it happens.
They do the alignment and I over heard the tech come in and say something to him about the gearbox being loose. I went up to pay & he didn't say a word to me about the gearbox, just told me the total, I paid and left.
Now the trucks worse than before I brought it in. It's pulling to the right, steering wheel is turned to the left and theres an inch of play in it now. Just lovely.
Get home and my fiancé calls about it, Mark lied and gave him a whole story about how I was rushing him to get it done and he didn't have time to even look at the tierods because I was in such a huge hurry. (I sat there and minded my business, on my phone, not in a hurry in any type of way) Then he told my fiancé that I need new tierods but the trucks been in and out of there so many times and I never give them enough time to work on it so he couldn't do anything about it. I've had my truck there one other time, in September of 2022 to have the tires balanced. So make that story make sense?
Now I have to pay for an alignment, AGAIN, and take time off of work, AGAIN. Obviously going somewhere else this time.
I'm glad other people have this place workout for them, but I will never be back. Won't be supporting that local business, I'll go to antigo.
Ran out of gas on 55 north of Argonne. AAA said there was no one who could get to me. Called CARS and told Mark my predicament. My knight in a pick up truck dropped what he was doing and showed up with a gas container in hand and made sure the car started before he left. SO grateful! Thanks, Mark.
I have a vacation home in crandon. On 3 separate occasions I've had issues that leave my vehicle undrivable. All 3 times they squeezed me into their very busy schedule and got me back on the road the same day. You guys are the best! Thank u
I can't thank Mark enough for his generosity while our truck was in the shop. They initially couldn't find out problem, but instead of giving up, dedicated a whole day to the cause, even going so far to give me his own car to use, Who does that?. Mark does! They diagnosed problem and charged a minimal amount considering all the time spent. Mark and the crew have been servicing our vehicle's for many years now and we've come to trust them and their work. Recently, while on a trip, we were having issues and called Mark, he gave us some steps to follow to get past a traction control issue, and got us home. When we got home, we took the vehicle to him to have it checked further. He informed us that the throttle-body had a service campaign and that we could take it to a GM dealer for free. Some places may have said nothing, replaced the part, and taken our money. Mark saved us money. That's the kind of service, values, and ethics you'll find at CARS.
