If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. They run this buisness terribly they’re extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of customers. will never bring a vehicle here again and will never refer them to anyone. this business is a joke and a waste of money.

Amazing place! While me and my brother were replacing lines on his bus, our tool broke💔. We brought the lines here and they finished them up in a jiffy. They have a fantastic crew and are super friendly!

⭐☆☆☆☆ I brought my car to Superior Automotive after being referred by O'Reilly's to have my A/C compressor replaced. I had already done troubleshooting myself and informed them of the issue. They confirmed it, quoted me around $1,300, and I scheduled a drop-off. When I picked up the vehicle, the total had jumped to nearly $1,500—with no clear explanation until I later discovered they charged me $133 to “diagnose” the problem I had already identified for them. That alone was frustrating, but it got worse. After picking up my vehicle, I immediately noticed that my side assist system was disabled. The menu screen was pulled up to that exact setting—almost as if someone had been messing with it. I couldn’t reactivate it. I also noticed my right rear tire pressure was oddly low, which seemed off. I called the next morning and was told I could come in for a diagnostic. I did—but all they did was glance under the hood and poke around under the hood. I asked if they had disconnected the battery during repairs (which can affect systems like side assist), and they said yes. But when I expressed concern that the side assist had worked prior to service and now didn’t, I was met with defensiveness and excuses. They told me the only way to find out what’s wrong now is to pay for another full diagnostic and potentially dashboard disassembly—at my cost. So I’m left with a nearly $1,500 bill, a vehicle system that was working before and isn’t now, and no real accountability from this shop. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend Superior Automotive and would give 0 stars if that was an option due to lack of transparency, dismissive attitude, and no ownership of post-service issues. First and last time going there.!

If you are in need of any auto repairs, this is the place to go. Our Nissan Titan XD had a warning light come one about three miles from Superior, WI. We limped it into town and called the local (Duluth, MN) Nissan dealer, which was no help at all. We then called Superior Automotive and explained our situation and the fact we were pulling a 35 foot travel trailer and couldn't just pull in anywhere. The lady on the phone told us to come in and they would be happy to help. After about an hour of pulling codes and researching they determined it was a dead battery in the key fob. They replaced the battery and so far everything seems to be working great, they would only let us pay for the cost of the battery ($2.38). We were able to continue our trip without any delay. If you live in the Superior, MN area or you are just passing through and need any automotive service, this is the only place to stop.

Went in for a pre-purchase inspection and had a great experience. They went over all the issues with me and provided photo evidence. The team was very honest with me and offered solid advice about the vehicle. I am excited to continue using a reliable, honest, and kind mechanic!

We were traveling up north and ran into some gravel and a big ditch, and the car started to make a really bad sound. We thought we were gonna have to spend our travel funds on fixing the car, but decided to take the car into superior automotive for a quick look. The shop runners were very kind and helpful, it only took them 15 minutes to find and fix the issue, and then we’re back on the road again! No bs just quality service, small town charm at its best! After my belt broke while traveling, leaving me and my 6 month old puppy stranded, Superior Automotive went above and beyond. They towed my car back to the shop, gave my puppy all the love he could ever ask for, and even a bowl of water to keep him hydrated. After the belt was replaced, they did an inspection to ensure the rest of our travels were safe. Thank you so much for your kindness and everything else! If I ever relocate back to the area, y'all would be my #1 choice for a shop.

Exceptional service, quality work and amazing staff! My car had a flat tire and it revealed my tires were wearing unusually. Zak and his team found that the repairs done three years ago by another collision shop were not done correctly and needed redone. It was really validating and such a relief they found the issue as I knew my car was driving incorrectly and my concerns were dismissed by other shops. They fixed the issue and helped me advocate with my insurance company to get it covered under the previous claim. I just got my car back and it rides so much better than it did before. I feel comfortable driving it again and know I’m safe on the road. I’ll never use another repair shop again! Superior Automotive is my shop for everything!

I had a rock kick up behind my dust shield and rotor causing a TERRIBLE squeal on my way home and came in asking for help. They had me on a rack to check it out, and I was on my way in 15 minutes. Even when short staffed!! Definitely appreciate the good will with the week I've been having. Will come back!

If I could give 0 stars this place deserves it. They will leave out details and surprise you with supposed storage fees & claim you’re avoiding them when you’ve answered all their calls. Extremely rude over the phone. They said they would move the car to another company and when tow came they denied it. This place is a joke and definitely great at scamming for your $. Untrustworthy, unprofessional, unreliable, don’t waste your time here

Avoid This Car Shop at All Costs - A Terrible Experience I had an extremely frustrating and infuriating experience with this car shop. First, they towed my car (which I had already paid for), and when I wanted to move it to a different location, they tried to keep it hostage. They claimed I owed them $6,000 for a repair that should've only cost me under $2,000. After several days, I called another shop to have my car towed, only to find out that the original shop had refused to release my car. When I finally got in touch with them, they tried to charge me $100 per day for "storage" - a clear attempt to scam me out of more money. This shop is dishonest and unprofessional. They were more focused on taking advantage of me than actually providing a reasonable service. I highly recommend avoiding them if you value your time, money, and sanity.

Been there 2 times now for 2 different vehicles. My experience is both times their prices were fair and reasonable. They took the time to explain what the issues were. They never tried to upsell me. Employees are all very kind. My experience is they are an honest company. They have a loyal customer with me. Thank you for all your help.

I miss bob Where is bob .. bob spent years making customers happy.. building up a good reputation. I would recommend all my family and friends go there .. now with this new owner i wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there .. Zach the new owner thinks his you know what dont stink .. I would definitely recommend avoiding this place.. sure sucks bob had a very good thing going and this guy destroyed it in a week .. I don’t see this place lasting long with the new owner.. slowly there going to loose all there loyal customers.. I’m just writing this review to warn others that is is not even close to the same bobs that’s superior Wisconsin has grown to love and trust

I told them I needed a new starter. They still charged me nearly $200 for diagnostics. Additionally I was told my battery "was shot" even though Valvoline just told me a couple weeks ago my battery was fine at my routine oil change. When I came to pick up my car, I needed to go straight to an appointment and did not have time to dispute the fact that they were overcharging me for unneccessary diagnostics and selling me an overpriced battery that i do not need. On my way to my appointment I saw that my interior light switch was on which was why the battery was drained (I did not turn on the interior light, btw. Superior Automotive should have not turned the light on and they should have known that is why the battery was drained). So, Superior Automotive could have simply turned the interior light off and charged the battery. They did not even try to diagnose anything. 2 possibilities. A. They are being dishonest B. They are really that incompetent. It's probably both A and B I simply needed a new starter. I was defrauded out of my family's hard earned money.

I Took my wife Traverse for a AC Leak diagnostic and they find a bad Ac line so they quote me $500 for replace the line and recharge the ac. When they start working on the suv they mess a bolt on the compressor and he call me and told me I need a new compressor when the compressor is new was installed by another shop 2 weeks ago on top of that he take out the compressor without my consent and try to fix the tread he make it a lot worst of how it was already he install the ac compressor back and leave 2 bolts loose and he still charge me $580 for a incomplete job They better give me a refund or I will Sues him for a incomplete job.

My truck blew a powersteering line, and I could not for the life of me fix it on my own ( I tried and was defeated). Stranded and with no other shop willing to help on short notice. The guys at Superior Automotive were more than understanding of the situation and got me in and out in record time. Without breaking the bank! They will be my first choice for working on my vehicle, hopefully under better circumstances! Thanks again!!

Superior automotive is a awesome and honest company. Their techs are awesome and knowledgeable. They will answer all your questions.i have never had problems with this company and will always return. Zak the owner is a awesome guy and very understanding. Zak is always their to help you out when in need. The towing side of the company is also very awesome. When you call them they are on the way and very reasonable on prices .

I’m so disappointed with this place. When it was Bob’s, I always knew I would be treated fairly. Now, I’ll never go back. My young daughter brought her car there for a rear brake job. They told her $850. I called and questioned that and was told her calipers had to be replaced. I brought it somewhere else, $400. They said the calipers were fine. What a bunch of crooks. Stay away. Go somewhere else. You were not trying to be transparent. You told me the calipers had to be replaced. Period. You were trying to rip off a 21 year old girl. I’ve heard similar stories from others. You are destroying the name of a great business. Please go elsewhere.

Had work done a few times, always a great price, friendly, professional. Ur always going to have 1 or 2 bad reviews by disgruntled ex employees and customers 🙄 but all in all I live 45 min away and bring my vehicle here for repairs. I'm extremely picky and There honest, upfront and helpful. Thanks Zac and Dale. And the rest of u guys. Appreciate it!

Terrible experience and extremely unprofessional. The problem was left unfixed and at a costly price. If I had not refused to pay for unauthorized work performed, I would have ended up spending even more money than I already had. Took to another shop all to be given a completely different diagnosis. Told it was the fuel pump causing issues, then it was actually the spark plugs and coils, when it ended up being the power control module - which a different auto mechanic had diagnosed. I was sent away TWICE with the issue not being fixed, which is completely unacceptable. Dishonesty about calling us, as we had no calls from them in our phone log. I was even told that my boyfriend was Ignoring their phone calls and trying to blame him. Extremely unprofessional!

The experience I had with this business was awesome, and I would highly recommend them. My car was having issues with the tires leaking air. The service also included a overall examination of the car and safety issues that may come up. The proprietor was knowledgeable and helpful. The cost of repairs was reasonable as I had checked out the same repairs from other service places prior to bringing my car to them. Very satisfied customer 👌 👍.

My car went on the fritz in the Superior Meat Market this morning and wouldn’t start. I walked over to Superior Automotive to see if they could help. They sprung into action, even on their lunch break, and got it loaded onto the tow truck and in the shop for a quick look within 15-20 minutes. I can’t even tell you what a relief it was to have this support during an already stressful time. 💯 recommend Zac and his small business. We’ll be back in the future with our vehicle needs.

Listen to the people who are giving the negative reviews here. After having my car in there twice (should have been just once but they didn't fix it the first time), the issues still aren't fixed, spent over $1000, wasn't once called for an update, I had to call in several times to even get someone on the phone to find out the status and when I could get my car back. Just a hassle all the way around, and clearly whoever was working on it either wasn't good at their job or didn't care enough to do a good job, but either way I don't have time for that and neither should you.

My husband and I were just coming home from getting a load of hay when we got a flat tire at 6:15pm we pulled into Superior Automotive in Superior and the young man there was so great He had us drop the hay trailer an back into their garage and fixed our tire on the spot. You do not find that kind of service anymore!! And he just had us pay it forward. Small town America is still alive!! Thank you Superior Automotive for giving this older couple faith in America

Superior Automotive did a great job on fixing my Chevrolet Silverado. They were able to fit me in on a busy day for them and take care of the problem with my truck. I will definitely go back to Superior Automotive if I have any other vehicle concerns.

Lied to about status of repair work. Paid for work that was later found not to have been done.. had to come back multiple times to get the same issue addressed charged for service each time. We used to really value this business when operated by Bob, they need to remove his name from the building because they don’t do nearly the quality work, or have the same principles. Bob was honest and upfront and made sure when he sent you away that the issues were addressed. These guys seem to just tell you whatever they have to, to get you to pay and out of the door. Won’t be going back..
