This place is great! Honest, customer focused and reasonably priced. Ken’s Automotive Services is run like every auto repair shop should be. We were on our way home on a trip and our alternator went out. Called them up to see if they could help us out and in less than 2 hours we were back on the road. Jessie was knowledgeable and friendly and even suggested a local restaurant where we could eat while the car was being fixed. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Jesse and his team at Ken’s Automotive are the most honest and transparent mechanics I’ve ever worked with. After several bad experiences in the past, finding a shop I can truly trust has been such a relief. Jesse takes the time to explain what’s going on and never recommends unnecessary work. The entire team is professional, reliable, and genuinely cares about their customers. I won’t trust my cars with anyone else - Ken’s Automotive is truly the best of the best. Highly recommend!
Jesse at Ken's Automotive is the best! Went in last week with a dead battery. They were swamped (as usual), but he had me pull in and I was leaving in less than half an hour later with a new battery. Always the best service, always with a smile.
I have been going here for almost 5 years. Had the same experience with Harlan and was sad when he retired. But, Jesse has more than filled his shoes! Will always recommend to anyone who asks!

They'll take care of your car and you. I've been bringing my car here about 4 years now and through routine maintenance or unexpected issue, I've had no problems and a lot of good experiences.
This is where I am and will continue getting all of my vehicles serviced. They have helped me several times with vehicle break downs. From replacing starters, brakes, oil changes and even a recent transmission rebuild. Great pricing, super honest and work diligently. Jessie is who I’ve talked with most of the time there. Could not recommend more!!
Was recommended this place by some Epic coworkers. My car had been sitting mostly idle in my parent’s garage while I lived in Japan, and since I came back had started having some minor issues, including some squeaking when braking and a minor oil leak. I called in and immediately said something silly that probably identified me as having no clue about cars (it’s true). Regardless, they took a look at my car, addressed all my concerns, fixed my issues, were extremely friendly, and didn’t try to lie or sell me anything I didn’t need. The price was extremely reasonable, and as I waited I could tell the owner Jesse had a strong bond with the community and knew a lot of the people who came in by name. Will absolutely be coming back here for oil changes and if any other issues ever arise with my car.
Jessie is the new owner and he is the best. I completely trust them with all of my families’s vehicles. Not a car person, but he always explains what he’s doing and I feel confident that there is nothing done that isn’t necessary. Highly recommend!
I've got a flooring company in IL and was on the way to service a customer in Madison when I had a catastrophic failure around the McFarland area on 90. I called a shop who couldn't look at my van until Friday. I then called Kens. I spoke to Jesse who gave me a tow companies name and told me he'd look at it and if it were a easy fix, he'd do his best to get me back on the road. The tow came, and the van needed a tensioner and a belt. Jesse and his team got me back up and running with enough time for me to service my client and get back home. Grateful for Ken’s! We had a leaky tire on a Friday, called some other shops and couldn’t get in until Monday. Called Ken’s, and they were able to squeeze us in, and when the issue turned out to be more complex and meant our tires needed to be replaced, they did the work same day for a fair price. Definitely will be returning.
Jesse is always honest about the lead time on parts/repairs and fair on labor costs.I don’t have to worry that I will have to return for any work he’s completed. I’ve had horrible experiences at dealerships and have sworn them off to come to Ken’s Automotive. Thanks for keeping my 2008 Volvo going!

Also one time a few years ago the kwik trip right next door’s tire pressure machine was broken , telling me I had 10 PSI.. Ken’s automotive looked at my car when I pulled over, filled them with air for me with no sweat. I appreciate their team and care!
Went to Ken's on the recommendation from my Mechanic. Was told they are the best around d for alignments. I was not disappointed at all. They did a great job! I also need to say I forgot my appointment twice, they were very Accommodating and trying to get me into their schedule and a time that fit my schedule. Definitely recommended Ken's.
My tire had a near blowout, and these guys were able to find new tires and replace them for me on the same day and quite literally saved me so much time. These guys are awesome. I would highly recommend. And they’re so nice and helpful too!

Ken's is great. I needed new brakes. They replaced the front ones only and told me the rear ones could last another year. I appreciated the up front cost and honesty. They didn't try to do more than was necessary. They have earned my trust and I will continue to get my vehicles serviced there.
Ken's Automotive has a great reputation, so can be a bit busy, so make your appointment as far in advance as possible. Ken's is known for their winter tune ups and preventative maintenance. Based on experience with my 2023 Dodge, I have found the mechanics are excellent at diagnosing problems and fixing them cost effectively and cost effectively.
They’re honest guys and do a good job. That’s hard to find these days. I dropped my work van off at Ken’s when it crapped out. I knew that they would diagnose the issue quickly without lying to me. They called me 2 days later and said it would cost $500 to fix. The van was ready the next morning. I really appreciate their honesty and reasonable prices. Thank you!

Ken's has been the backbone of my family's auto needs. From my grandfather to my brother and I(of course including mom and dad) they've been honest and transparent with quality work. I had four brand new tires put on most recently and they were done in less than an hour! I let them pick the tires and those tires performed beautifully when I had some evasive driving in the snow on the freeway. On top of all this their prices are great!
I had a huge emergency with my car a few days ago and went to Ken's to see if they could help. Harland and Jesse were both incredibly wonderful and so helpful, and took care of the issue right away. I have historically had less-than-great experiences with most auto shops, but Ken's was a complete 180. They explained what was happening with my car and what needed to be done, talked to me like I was a normal human and not a dumb girl, were upfront and honest about the cost, and compassionate with the time sensitivity of the problem. Absolutely wonderful people. They've got a new customer for life!
Had my oil changed here, fairly straight forward. No issues of complaints. However they do book kind of far out. Recently called to see if I could pay to have someone air my tires, I lost my gage and it’s really cold, and they said come on it we’ll do it for free. Honestly things like that make customers for life. Thankful I found this place.
I've finally found a mechanic and repair shop I can trust. Jesse and Harland are friendly, trustworthy, and absolutely fair in every interaction I've had with them. I've had multiple vehicles serviced here and have never been upsold on any useless services that the dealership "recommends." I get a quick, honest assessment that I can trust and I know the work performed is excellent. With all the car care options in the area it's nice to find one that you know will take care of you and not bleed your wallet dry in the process. I absolutely cannot recommend Ken's Automotive enough
