I have taken my vehicle to Mikes since the beginning of his ownership back in the 90’s. He always did good work and was upfront and honest. I recently took in my vehicle and had them just “look it over” as well as have a flickering puddle lamp replaced. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was amazed to find that my cabin air filter had been replaced. They charged me 49.99 (50) dollars for the cabin air filter Napa FIL430210. I am not sure what the installation price was (not itemized). I had replaced the cabin air filter 2,000 miles prior and these filters are meant to last 15,000 miles. I felt ripped off and angry. My type of recourse is not to do business there ever again. In all fairness to Mike, he has people working for him, so he may not even be aware of what happened. It’s your business so in the end you need to make certain that these kind of things do not happen. The air filter I used before they replaced it cost 17.85 on Amazon, tax included. Took no more than 5 minutes to install via YouTube video. Remove glove box, pull out old and replace with new, replace glove box. Be careful and mindful out there when getting work done to you vehicle!
Excellent place to have your vehicle serviced or repaired. Honest, fair on price, and usually done the same day. Also a Napa Auto Care Center, which tells me Mike and his staff align themselves with the best auto parts supplier around! I highly recommend them!
I got a flat tire and needed it to be patched. Mike got the tire in and the it was fixed and ready the same day. Great honest pricing too. I would recommend Mikes to anyone. Thank you, Mike and crew!
We were very pleased with the friendly service and the repairs performed here. We had brake issues and they got our car in the day we called, completed the repair the same day at a reasonable cost. We highly recommend this business.

It was a resonable experience. I went for an oil change. Dropped my car off around 7:30 am and got it back around 3 pm. I was asked what day I wanted to come in and what time. I was informed they would call me to let me know when I could pick my car up. Around 11:30 am I was told they were just about to start the process. I didn't hear back from anyone after that. So I called around 3pm and found out it had been done and I could pick it up. I was slightly annoyed with that as I would have came earlier to get it. They did a good job. It was a little more expensive than I assumed it would be. I'm glad to know they are a resource around here.
On Friday 10/14/22 I was on my way from Waunakee, WI to Spring Green, WI to meet my sister & niece for a birthday celebration. Between Middleton & Cross Plains - out in the boonies - multiple lights came on indicating a tire pressure problem. I had gassed the car the night before & my husband checked all 4 tires at Kwik Trip, added air etc. Thankfully I made it to Cross Plains & I came across Mike's Mobil on Main Street - never been there before, knew nothing of the place - & a super nice guy (darn I didn't get his name) came out. I told him of my dilemma, & asked if he could please check my tires & I would gladly pay him for his time/efforts. He did, all tires were low, he put air in them, I offered him cash for helping me, but he refused saying to put it towards the birthday celebration. I insisted, but he wouldn't take the money. Without his help, I honestly don't know what I would have done. He saved the day & I went on to have a wonderful day/birthday celebration with my sister & my niece. Thank you so very much to Mike's Mobil! P.S. The next day I called Kwik Trip about the air issue & they told me that another person had also reported a problem & that they had the air pressure gauge & pump checked & their equipment was at fault!
Mike and his staff were great! I had a ignition coil go out on a case in town and they were able to squeeze me in right away. I thought I was going to have to use AAA to get me towed back home to my mechanic 120 miles away, but they got me taken care of and back on my case in 90 minutes! They even topped off my fluids.

Mike always goes above and beyond! I wasn’t able to pick my Jeep up, a bad storm was on the way so Mike drove back to the shop and put it inside, good thing because a tree came down where it was parked!
Great! I had a screw in my tire and Mike quickly fixed it while I played with his dog in the office. Mike won’t upcharge you or try to sell you something you don’t need.
Mike’s is the BEST! Stopped in with my Prius to get a rear wheel noise checked. No appointment; was in XP for a work meeting. They fit me in for diagnosis (brake caliper stuck closed) and brake job (requiring them to go to Mt Horeb for the parts), around and in between their previously scheduled work, finished by my stated deadline, and charged me less than 40% of what the dealer said they would have charged. We have known Mike for years. And for years he has been rehabilitating, coaxing and gluing together our very old cars. He does this without complaint and always good humor. He has always provided us with excellent service and often, advice about our vehicles. He is a top mechanic always being able to explain issues with our cars and getting them fixed.
We can't thank him enough. Plus he's got the cutest dog in town.
I am so incredibly grateful for the save yesterday! My truck battery died and Mike let me use his jumper box at no charge! He didn’t bat an eye to help a fellow neighbor! I just found my new mechanic in town!!! Thanks Mike!!
