I had a great experience with the mechanic at Stanley Truck Sales. I was traveling along Hwy. 29 from St. Paul, MN to Upper Michigan. My Check Engine light was on and when I stopped for gas in Stanley, there was some difficulty re-starting the car. I was told that Chad, the mechanic and son of the owner, could do a diagnostic for me to determine the problem. He found the MAP sensor to be my problem but couldn't locate the part to repair it that day, but reassured me that I would be OK to continue my trip.. One week later, I returned to St. Paul and had the MAP sensor replaced without going through a much more expensive diagnostic. I found Chad to be a very helpful, friendly and competent mechanic. And it was a pleasure meeting and talking with his dad. When you're on the highway, hundreds of miles from home, it sure is reassuring to know there are good people out there to help you through a bad situation. -Mike B. St. Paul, MN
