My husband (truck driver) stopped by to get truck serviced. Mechanic broke the nuts. He proceeded to inform the manager, who was rude to him, dismissing him (not once, but twice) did not want to help him with the problem, and threatened to call the police. It was the first time he’s stopped through WV, but if racism is what BLACKS have to experience while being in the state, it’s best to keep it moving.
$9 for a $6 jug of washer fluid. There is making a profit, and there is having so much contempt for your customers that you want to fleece them for everything you can. What a terrible organization.
My trailer lites went out in night stopped at TA around at 9 pm checking to get in fixed was been told mechanic will go it on morning 10 am finally call my 3 pm they started work on it just after 10 minutes say said he got a hart disease he can not work any more so my advice stay at home don’t work don’t waste anyone’s time also in my opinion I will suggest to fellow drivers to check healthy mechanic before bring your truck here

I pulled into this TA with a cracked radiator. Checked in around 1345...they had me out of there and rolling by 8 pm. 🫡Salute to the mechanics that got on it. They made their money and I was able to continue making mine✊🏿#Trucker4Life
Shower was ready and clean. Hard finding parking at times, but with the tracking in this area, that's expected. Lots of truck traffic, not enough truck stops.
These guys have ZERO knowledge. Wasted 24 hours here — three different mechanics worked on the trailer trying to fix the air lines. In the end, I was charged $1,200 for labor, and it was only temporarily fixed — which means NOT fixed — and that’s against their so-called safety policy they love to talk about when negotiating. But when it turns out their mechanics are incompetent, suddenly they have no problem compromising — yet still charge you for the time you wasted and their “labor.” Don’t come here. Save your time and money.
Never come for wheel seal replacement, they have their special wheel seal policy and told me the hub assembly to be replaced. I declined and paid 516$ to chain up and roll out the shop. Took to a local shop and hub assembly is all good, replaced wheel seal and left from them within 2h total. Not recommended to come here at all
Big respect to the TA Road Service at Exit 11 on I-70. After I got ripped off by another roadside guy who charged me $500 and didn’t fix a thing, I called TA and they showed me what real service looks like.
Their mechanic showed up in about 45 minutes, checked the problem, and fixed it right there on the spot. No attitude, no games, no trying to push a tow — just honest work. The bill was $358, way less than the scammer who left me hanging.
I really appreciate how professional and respectful they were. As a trucker, that means everything when you’re stuck on the road. I’ll call them again any time I need help around here.
The food selection was average. Same stuff but I really wished that they prepared food from the region, like southern comfort foods known in the south, Mexican and other cultural foods in the west, definitely seafood in the pacific northwest.
Most staff members at all the locations are friendly.
The window washing buckets are hit and miss. Just hope that you can clean your windows before some of those drivers who throw the entire bucket on their windshield.
So far, I'm really pleased with TA/Petro locations.
The food is my reason for the 3 star rating.
We were on our way to Wheeling, hole in the wall, using Truckers lingo. We stopped there on the way to and from. My son and I made the trip to Wheeling in good time and when we did stop the people at TSA are very nice and friendly. I used to stop there a lot back when I drive over the road trucks. The Highlands is also a good place to check out.
Another TA failure as usual. Nothing works. 4 truck pumps are closed. The potholes a wheel deep and nobody gives a shit. That's the company moto.
The worst travel chain in America.
Lots of parking. All parking isn't free. I parked here near the catscale but in a marked space. That was on 07/04/25. All amenities & goodies in store and of course, there is a repair shop too.
Buffet may through you your order in container instead give you plates. Terrible experience, dont take risk be discriminated there. This one star related to buffet only, I just leave truckstop.
Unlike other truckstops, this one has a great amount of restrooms for hardworking truckers! There is 2 more booths upstairs next to the showers. Thank you for that! We dont have to stay in a line in the mornings! Lol
I've been waiting now for 5 hours to get in and get my radiator fixed. They said they'd call but nothing yet as truck drivers, we have a job to do and time is money, but they don't seem to really care about that. So now I've wasted half my day just sitting here, I'll end up probably staying the night. Hopefully, they get better mechanics or more of them.

If you're looking for a place to sleep without having to pay $20, do not come here. The entire parking lot just about is reserved only anything from the store to the back. You have to pay for it. This was enough for me, never to stop at another TA. And will definitely be putting in that our seven hundred other drivers not come here. I plan my trip to stop here. Because usually T A's are not like this, but if they will allow one to be like this, how long before the rest of them will be the same? I guess a 100 gallons of gas plus money you spend on the inside is not enough for them.
Have a big parking lot here. And the breakfast is good here also !! Plenty of seating. Showers are available here. Paid parking available close the building. Handicap parking available and wide doors for entry of building
This was once a good shop. Came in to get purge valve on my air dryer replaced or rebuilt. Ended up with a new air dryer because "rebuilding or replace purge valve never last". Well maybe it's because you don't know what you're doing. Last rebuild lasted 3 years. Parts changers is all they are. What happened to the mechanics that were once around. Will never see me in this place again.
And a 50% mark up over OEM!!!!
If yall have to come get yall trucks fixed don't. They will kill your time. Do 1 thing and take a smoke break look at tires take a smoke break go pee take a smoke break. Your time is really wasted here I came in at 11am and my tires only just got looked at and it's 4:41pm. They are so lazy I'm not even sure why they even got a job. Oh because the manager is out here taking a dang smoke break to. Like what type of hill Billy junk yard is this they have no type of Consideration for were you have to be or what time you have to be there. Everyone do more walking and standing then working here, your best bet is just to go some were else if yu can.

I stopped for the night to relax while being greeted by Kari/Karri. They were amazing staff members and very nice helping me with rewards. I appreciate them alot this is always a friendly stop.

Get ready for a rollercoaster if you come out here and get any service done to your truck and/or trailer. Came out here to do a mid trip inspection and full trip inspection since they were due. Called in and they said it would be a 1-2 hour wait. Got here and put my name on the list and we got to go ahead and put our truck in the bay. Waited a little bit for air filters which wasn’t an issue but somehow it’s 9 hours later and we are STILL waiting to do a DOT inspection for our tractor. You hardly see any technicians working on the trucks but you’ll see them having “constant meetings” in the back and they wonder why so many people are getting frustrated with them. I see why there’s no seating in the shop because they know they are going to take their precious time. If I go to another truck stop and get it done in two hours. Only reason why we are here is because it’s the only thing we got around here and thought we could get it done in time since it early in the day. I won’t make the mistake and come to a TA again.
Koodos to cashier Sierra and the cook in the back at Homestyle Express!!! Sierra was so polite, friendly, prompt and just downhome customer service driven! We were not too sure what to order, but when I tell you, "they put their FOOT" in the chicken pot pie, 3pc chicken & 4pc chicken tenders, even the size of broccoli 🥦 was delicious! Everything was seasoned and tasted great. We were passing thru, but we'd definitely go back if ever in the area. From time to time you want a good home cooked meal while on the road as truckers.
