I have been coming here for years and I have never had such a bad experience as I did last night. My friends and I purchased tickets for almost 50 dollars to skip the line 3 days in advance, and we still waited 2 hours. The bouncers let people skip, or in right away if they knew them, it was complete bullshit. They did not prioritize the skip the line passes it would have been better to just get in the regular line. Everyone was rude and it was complete bullshit and we should all get refunds for that.

I’ve been in Morgantown for a year. I absolutely love Morgantown. This place absolutely tarnished my experience. I came with my girlfriend and her friends. They charged a cover on a Saturday night which was not surprising but after waiting in line with my gf (we realized they only took cash while in line) we realized the morals of this establishment was quite extreme. I had the cash to pay for the cover ($10) this night and I just wanted to wait downstairs while my gf was waiting for her friends to give her the cash for the cover but I was met with physical violence during this time. Respectfully I said “can I wait here while she is waiting for her friends” (because I why enter a bar/club without my gf?) and they said “no we don’t do that that and they put their hands on me and pushed me into the road in front of a moving car. I had the cash to pay the cover but just because I wanted to wait to go upstairs until my gf was allowed in, I was pushed onto a road with heavy traffic on a Saturday night. I never even touched them but they felt inclined to push a customer waiting for their significant other onto a busy road because they wanted to wait for their partner to enter with them. I am only writing this review due to the irrational behavior of the security staff of this establishment. Whoever the blonde bouncer was Saturday night on 10/25 must have been drunk or something to act that irrational. He’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Bartenders were super sweet to me. They got me help right away when a guy started putting his hands on me because he wouldn't let me get to my friend that his group was harassing. Don't expect for bartenders to give you the sweetest service ever if you don't tip ? I feel like tipping is like common courtesy in a bar/nightclub, plus most places only make their money from tips. Good for them that they stand up for themselves. Security was awesome thank you for getting that guy away ?? Bouncer was also nice and understanding when my friend got sick there

Bartenders are pushy and ask for extra tips. Drinks are good and well priced, but it is dirty. The bathroom floors are flooded and no toilet paper or handsoap, also stall doors don't lock. Waited two hours in line, bouncer was talking to people in line instead of iding or letting groups in without iding at all.

Drove an hour and a half, looked at social media and online, club didn’t mention being closed but was. Bartenders are typically rude. Recently had a bartender tell my friend to not coming back up to the bar if she wasn’t going to tip. Drinks are great, and decently priced, but the club plays mediocre at best music. Bathrooms are disgusting; no tp, hand soap, dirty floors and trash on the ground. Good if you live close. Wouldn’t recommend going far out of your way for this place.

Best club in Morgantown 100%. Bouncers are respectful, bartenders are super cool. Overall had an amazing time!

I've came here almost every weekend since I started college, it's the best club I've been to. The bartenders know what they're doing, the bouncers make me feel safe and it's never empty or boring. I love the music too.

Love this place ! Bouncers and Bartenders do a great job at their jobs. The bouncers are very handsome and always keep you safe when needed. The bartenders can make a hell of a sex on the beach and always know how to talk to customers even when busy.

This place is the best of the best. Elite bouncer group. Incredible and friendly bartenders. Best club experience I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to go again! The bouncers are very handsome as well.

My friends and I go here a lot. It might just be the best club in West Virginia. The bartenders are extremely kind, the bouncers are super respectful and know how to handle certain situations. Top notch service that I have ever gotten. The bouncers are just absolute sweethearts and keep you safe always.

There was an altercation between my gf and another group of girls here and the bouncers came and told us we needed to leave but the other girls could stay, when I tried to explain to the bouncers what had happened & that the other girls had actually thrown a drink on my gf first, 4 of the bouncers came up to me and dragged me out like I was an animal, I don’t recommend coming here because the bouncers are very unprofessional and will throw you out for literally no reason if someone tells them something that isn’t true. Meanwhile the girls who actually started the altercation were screaming over the balcony saying “bye”, mind you it was a group of white girls and the white bouncers wouldn’t even listen to me and my black girlfriend.. idk seemed very racist to me I also tried to show the bouncer the drink she threw all over the back of me it was very noticeable bc I was wearing a white button down. But before I could get a second sentence out of my mouth 4 of them came and dragged me out down the steps and threw me out when I actually saved them trouble by breaking up a fight . this place is very over priced for all its hyped up to be and takes 30 minutes to even get a watered down drink..imo anex is a much better club and I will never bring my friends out to Ivy again.

I was downstairs at their feugo bar and I kept asking when last call would arrive because it could be at any time. They promised I would have enough time to finish my drink. When last call arrived earlier than expected, this pimply faced blonde guy told me to leave asap. I had 5 minutes. I do not chug my drinks. He was so rude. I’m close to 40. If you’re a parent, do not bring your children here. They do not care about your business. They are amateurs.

My only issue with the club is the bathrooms. When you go to the bathrooms, on the left is the mens bathroom. You have to round a corner so nobody can even see in there. On the right, is the women’s. Stalls in plain view of everyone and the stalls also don’t have locks. I’ve seen guys just standing there, looking into the women’s bathroom because it’s so open. Most people just think it’s a hallway. I find that pretty disgusting and extremely unsafe for all the women that go here

Me and my group showed up, and the bouncer refused to let me in because of my ID (im 21) refused to elaborate what was wrong with my ID, and when we asked for a scanner or at least to let me in as underage he threatened to bring the cops

Fun place for 18 to 21 years old people. Ive never had a problem there but if you cause trouble the bouncers don't put up with it.

Do not go here. It costs $10 just to get in even if you’re 21. I have never had a worse experience at any bar. The bouncer was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Questioned my ID even though I am 21. Then when I got in the girl that asks for your payment was also rude. Then I went to get a drink and the bartender demanded I give her a tip or else she wouldn’t serve me. So needless to say this place is not only a waste of money but will also ruin your night.

Great bar. Nice atmosphere. It's a damn shame we have people that want to destroy other people's property. The mens bathroom was recently updated and within 2 weeks ot was destroyed. Drunk is no reason for stupidity on their part.

one bouncer was RUDE all we asked was which line was which!!! We stood in the wrong line for 20mins but the girl bouncer ended up helping us A lack of diversity but good drinks and music

Worst bar in morgantown. Security and stuff very rude. I wouldn't reccomend spending a penny here. Went for a concert and bought vip tickets for free food and to have a good spot and was forced from my spot, cussed at, and the "free food" was frozen chicken nuggets. Bathrooms disgusting but overall worse staff I've ever dealt with.

Nice bar to go to and dance. The other reviewer is sorta right in that the security is racially biased. I’ve been here 3x now and two of the three times the bar staff overcharges by $2-3 and the receipt doesn’t supply the drinks ordered to fight it so I usually shell the extra small cost because it’s not worth arguing over with deafening music playing. Get these small things under control and easily a 5/5 club
