Most definitely have gone down hill. You use to ger help, now they watch you struggle and almost kill yourself unloading a motor, subframe, and transmission. Pathetic. Literally sat behind the truck and watched. If busy I would more understand.
Need to change your hours online. Says you close at 4 on Saturday drove there at noon and was told they are closed at noon. Wasted my time and gas. Need you to fix this
When did you all move to a Check system? I haven’t been there in a month or soo, but every time before today I was paid cash from the ATM. Disappointed to say the least I was given a check that I then had to pay to have cashed. The website needs updated to inform of the change.
Pulled in at 11:50am on Saturday sit in line until 11:57 when the guy comes out and informs me the guy unloading in front of me is the last guy for the day..... I thought they closed at noon not 11:49am
Knowledgeable staff, and hard workers. Great place to take scrap steel, radiators, cars or copper. A word of advice... Hold your receipt up to the atm til the green light covers your whole barcode.
Prices well below what WV Cashin in pays right down the road. Did not realize till I had left they did not even pay me the correct grade of metal. All was prepared #2 and they paid me appliances sheet. All for convenience of them being open on Saturdays. No thanks I'll wait till Monday and enjoy about $40 more on my earnings.
In and out easy. Pull up on scale, take them vin written down or take a pic of it and your i.d. get unloaded. Come back. Look for green light. Staff helpful with the atm . Press any button, scan ticket get $$$
Horrible place... The people are so rude and hateful... Their hands down the worst recycling center in West Virginia. Their so shady on their junk prices. When I do have to go here almost every time I have to go back up to the counter because they've shorted me money or gave me the wrong price mainly on #1an #2 copper cant ever seam to get it right. It's never been a good experience!!!
It's a great place to do business with, but you better know your metals and what you have. If you have one irony piece of brass they'll put your whole load down for that. Know what you are bringing in .
I do business with them on a regular basis ...they have had the same employees for the past 5 yrs ..That speaks volumes about the owner and how they treat there employees..That is something I value in a business.
I was there two weeks ago with a load. And I've been stewing on this since then. A little more than 3,200 pounds to be exact. When I cashed out I only got $98. I knew price's were down,but not that low. I looked on the receipt and I was paid for appliances at $0.02 cents a pound. I only had three fridges and they was broke down,as in the compressors and plastic was removed. Two washers and dryers that also was broke down. Unless there was a camera over the scale, they cashier couldn't see the fridges. They was covered by other scrap. Point being is that I lost a whole load to appliances. So my thoughts is that he just pays everyone for appliances. I won't be back for any selling. Makes me wonder how many times in the past I've been cheated on steel or nonferrous. I'll give the junk away for free before I sell to them again.
Great place to take all metals. Needs to be open more hours. A great asset to our community. Less staff chit chat can increase the speed of service that they advertise. They keep tons of metals out of landfills!!!
The lady on the phone said as long as you're there by 430 your good. We pulled in at 4:30, there was an 18 wheeler on the scale. And some fat dude walked out and told us they were closed. I will be taking my stuff somewhere else from now on. I definitely won't be talked to like that with someone I'm trying to do business with. That guy had an absolutely terrible attitude.
