If I could give this place zero stars I would his willingness to just up front lie to me and my significant other about our car pisses me off. We went there to get a car off of him and yes we were desperate because at the time we didnt have a car. We had heard good things about Sammy and wanted to go thru him to get a car. When he sold us this car he had us both under the assumption nothing was wrong with it just needed minor repairs keep in mind we got this car back in July. We started driving and the brakes were bad we took it to a garage and they informed me that the ball joint and control arms on both sides were shot and to make ot even better the one on the driver said was just welded there was no bolt. The knock sensor in that car has went out and has been out since we got it. The entire frame of this car is completley rusted out. I have put so much money into this car its unreal and it still has problems. This is a good car and it runs good but it should have never gotten an inspection sticker. Every time I have called him and let him know what was going on with the car it was always an excuse as to why he couldn't or wouldn't help. He would say u get the money for the part and the part and ill put it in but im gonna have to charge you.. highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. His wife isn't much better i was asking her questions and its like she didnt want to be bothered by me or my questions.. its almost like they dont know anything about the cars they sell. I am so tired of garages doing half ass work on this car hust because of the condition the frame is in. The converter was completley clogged and we had to get a universal converter put on our car. There's so much wrong with it we cant even afford to begin to be able to repair these issues we fix one thing something else goes out
We have used Sammy D’s for everything since we moved to Clarksburg. Sam and Courtney are two of the most personable and down to earth people I have met. They provide great services. I 10/10 recommend for service, repairs, auto body work, and paint jobs.
Im from Georgia, and was heading though the area when we blew a trailer tire at 10 at night with no mounted spares. A kind tow truck driver told us about this place and called his nephew to see if he could open up the shop for us. Then when we got lost he came looking for us! Sammy D's and their staff saved our night and had us back on the road asap. I cannot speak highly enough of this experience. I would genuinely give them 10 stars if i could. Thank you guys.
I needed a complete headlight put into my Subaru. He ordered the part and did it in 2 days. He drove me home so I wouldn't have sit in his shop while he did the work on my car. The price was reasonable. He was very polite and professional.
If you want someone who actually gives an actual care about you and your car. Then look no further. Sammy Ds and the staff will take care of you no questions asked. They have worked on my white kia multiple times and treat you like family. Professional but personable.
Sam and his wife are wonderful, I had an emergency where my brakes had locked up and they provided immediate service to get my vehicle back on the road. Great job and wonderful to work with for auto repairs.
Let me tell you...Sammy (and Jeff!) is a pretty fantastic person and has kept my old, annoying Trailblazer running for over a year. The boys can be a little crass, and they're definitely ridiculously busy on numerous projects, and if something isn't going to kill my kids sometimes they will say they just don't have time to fix something. But they have kept the truck running (and running well) when I was told I should scrap it by other shops. Once you get to know them, they are kind with big hearts, good intentions, and sailor mouths but let me tell you...they do stuff quick, cheap, and honestly. They'll let you know what they really think and what they can do for you. Call ahead...give them a heads up...let them tell you when to bring your stuff by. They'll fix it.
Went here to get an inspection sticker. That's all. Politely went in and asked if they could do. The woman at the counter said hold on and went in the back. A guy comes in and demands, yes rudely demanded, our registration and insurance cards. Apparently us being there was an invonvience. Fine. After following us out to our car, he said he couldn't inspect our car because the tires' threads were showing. Not true. The indicators are still visible. He said he would give us a rejection sticker. We left before he could. Do yourself a favor and don't give this guy your business. Plenty of better places to buy vehicles from and plenty of other places to get inspections done. I truly hope this place gets shut down.
