Took my trans up there to be built. James kept me updated on every bit of the build. One of my sensors went bad, (wasn’t even their fault at all) mailed me a new one. Has answered any questions I’ve ever asked, he definitely knows what he is doing. I live in southwest, VA and I would never take my truck anywhere but here. Great work and someone that actually takes pride in what they do. Definitely recommend!!
I’ve been using Brian as my only mechanic for over 12 years on my Cummins trucks. In that time I’ve owned at least 10 different Cummins trucks between my personal ones and my workers trucks. My father and grandfather and nephew and brother all have had numerous Dodge Ram Cummins and all exclusive use Brian Vannest.
There isn’t a better Cummins mechanic anywhere in the Country and I’d argue anyone that says different. There are really good mechanics and maybe some just as good... maybe... but I’d doubt that there is any better.
Brian and his son James can take a Chrysler transmission in a Cummins truck and turn it into a bullet proof machine that can’t be stopped!
Vannest is the most knowledgeable person/shop I have ever been to or heard of when it comes to Cummins. This shop is very clean and well kept all of the mechanics I have dealt with were personable and took their work serious. I would recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely make the 2 hour trip when my vehicle needs attention.
One of the worst places I have ever had any work done on a vehicle. Had to take vehicle back seven times, then they done more damage than good. Then when they said it was fixed, two months later my transmission went out. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Now my transmission is junk when they told me it was the top of the line.
