if it was possible to leave to leave zero stars or negative stars I would, We ordered a heater core yesterday around noon and was told it would be in today. but when we went to pick it up we were told theres no record of it, in fact our phone number and name aren't even in the system. Funny because my husband is fixing up a car and we've spent about 800$ there the past WEEK. So we will be going to one of the other two part stores in town even if they are more expensive. I wish this was an isolated incident but there was another one where a belt was missing and I was told just come in and they would give us missing belt (out of water pump kit) when we went up the man behind the counter tried to tell us we have to bring entire kit back even thought parts of it where already installed in the car! This store has the worst customer service and I advise everyone reading this to go to Napa or advance auto
I went in this evening and the woman at the front desk, Tonda, was so helpful! She even offered to put my headlight in for me. Everytime I go in, they are very courteous and helpful. Thanks Tonda!
Absolutely phenomenal customer service from Matt. I had to buy a battery and he put it in my car. Great service by an awesome employee. I am extremely grateful for him putting the battery in my car. If you need any parts for your car this is the Autozone to go to. Very respectable and knowledgeable employees.
I had a great overall experience with the guys that work there, I pulled into the lot last night one Tuesday Oct 7th 2025. They were already locked up but they gladly let me in and sold me the parts I needed. Their names were Joseph crites and Carson Whetzel.
Just want to commend Matt for his efforts in helping me with engine diagnostics. He went above and beyond, helping me out and getting me on my way. Thanks, Matt!
Christine and Carson were incredibly helpful and spent a lot of time finding just the right windshield wiper blade to replace my completely decimated blade—there was a whole thing with clips and sizes and issues of standard vs nonstandard. They opened packages and tested clips and opened more packages and tested more clips, all before I paid for the first one that was *supposed* to be the one I needed. Finally found one that worked, which is great, as I have about 200 miles left to go with a strong chance of rain along the way.
0 stars if I could lady that was helping me was the rudest woman alive wouldn’t listen to a damn thing I said and questioned everything acted like I didn’t know my right from left or anything I was talking about safe to say and still gave me the wrong parts lol safe to say will never go back
I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience at the AutoZone in Moorefield, but I did have a particularly good experience recently. I stopped in because I needed my front blinker light changed as the old one was really blown. One of the women working said she could change it for me if it wasn't too complicated. I really wish I had gotten the woman's name, but she was great! I asked her to explain it to me as she went so maybe next time I could do it myself. She had her tools and showed me what I would need and how to use it and how to get into the area to switch out the bulbs and how to get everything put back correctly. She was so very helpful and kind.
1 star because the one lady was no help and wouldn’t listen to a damn thing I told her. Just kept saying they didn’t have it and she didn’t know. Some other guy that was newer it seemed, did help me and looked up the part number I shown him and even checked to be sure the removal tool I needed would fit on the part on my truck by pulling off the shelf. So 5 stars to him but that lady was awful being negative and not knowing how to solve the correct size tool or make effort to look anything up. She needs to find another job that doesn’t require skills to help people and know tools and use the computer system. 2nd time I’ve been in there and she’s done the same thing before just not as drastically as today.
To pricey and the brown headed lady with glasses was so rude when we were there today along wirh the chucky blonde haired guy. She doesn't need to be working in a place that has to deal with people. She is worthless.
She doesn't even know the parts. No way I can give more than a 1 star.
Employees are helpful and friendly, they are knowledgeable about auto parts and tools. If they can't answer your questions they will tell you they don't know, which I've found out is better than making stuff up. I shop for my auto parts here first before going to the other stores because they seem to have better inventory.
My car broke down in Moorefield a few weeks ago and we spent several hours at the Auto Zone trying to figure out how to address our car problems. John, the manager of Auto Zone was so helpful to my son and i while we were figuring out our plans. They were wonderful. I suspect John and his team are equally as customer friendly when dealing with their day to day customers. I can not thank them enough for the assistance. Great people
Went into the store looking for a lockout kit. I was informed they no longer sold them but advance auto probably did. The lady at the counter proceeded to look up alternatives if the other place didn't have it. When I confirmed the other place did still carry the kit, Dave offered to drive me to the other store to pick up the kit. I really appreciate what Dave did, he's an awesome guy.
I was out on a weekend drive 80 miles from home when my radiator started to steam. I decided to not push the luck and had the car towed to Autozone. I lucked out at Kate, Brandon and team were superb,. Kate really helped out and I am grateful as I thought I would have to wait for a few days until the shops opened to get the car repaired. Kate was very patient, checked online for the issues, the options and we decided to refilled the radiator with fluids, drive it around, come back and rechecked. She was confident that the car could make it back home once the new fluid had a chance to work itself in the radiator and I decided to accept that view. I made it home! I really was stressing and she came thru as a true professional. She knows her thing! Highly recommend this Autozone in Moorefield, WVA!
We are so grateful for the customer service here! They went above and beyond to help us fix our problem and get help on a Sunday. Lisa Dave was so kind and helpful and the customer John who helped us really saved the day. This was the best trip to autozone we have ever had in any state.
The staff and management are all amazing. They made us feel like family while we were broken down in a bad situation almost 3 hours from home. Its rare to find staff that go above and beyond anymore. Epically dave, Jeremiah, rj and lisa. 10/10 awesome wholesome people that put in more than asked.
Drove 35 minutes my husband walked in and it was 8:28 and the guy working saw he has a list, and was like whoa, what time is it and then proceeded to say that Autozone doesn't carry metal fuel lines...... We always go here, very disappointed!
Best parts store in town has a few employees that actually no whats goin on, and unlike the one on the other end of town they have never given me the wrong part for a vehicle.

While the staff is always helpful and friendly, the prices on parts are astronomical. I would love to give a local business my support, but just can't justify spending hundreds more on parts.
The employees were very very helpful the products are easy to find they don't try to sell you parts that you don't need just to make an extra dollar and most of the people working for them can give you a general idea of what might be wrong with your car if you talked with them. This is the company that I left Advanced to take my business to.
