Great experience! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. When my vehicle was done there was something that didnt need to be fixed and I was not charged for it. Appreciated the quickness and honestly. They will have a life long customer in me.
We were driving home when our car broke down close to this mechanic. We live two hours away. They were very helpful and communicated well with us. We needed to spend the night to wait for the parts that were arriving the next day. One of the employees gave us a ride to a local hotel. Due to the holidays, it was determined that the parts we needed wouldn't arrive for many days. There is no way we could stay in a hotel until the parts arrived. One of the mechanics took us to the closest car rental location, which was above and beyond what they were required to do. They communicated well with me from a distance and kept me updated on everything that was going on with my car. The car is fixed, they were honest and went above and beyond to help us. We would highly recommend ZZ Auto Repair.
It was a bit difficult to get updates on the progress to coordinate a pick up day/time and the end cost was around 50% higher than the cost I okayed over the phone after diagnostic but reasonable with what work was done and it is working as well as before my engine issue happened. Overall happy with the service just would've like more clarity on the progress and final cost.
ZZ Auto got me in quick to fix a tire so I could go to work within a reasonable time. A flat tire is never a good start to the day, but the made it an easier process. I got an inspection while there, top notch service.

My husband got his van serviced and they stole the license plate off and tried to say it never had a plate when it got there. When Asked to see the cameras their story changed to "maybe it was on there but we'll have to look into it" Cops have be notified. There attitude towards my husband was unexceptionable as well. Bunch of thieves!!!

I paid to get a family members vehicle out of the impound lot. Guys seemed super nice on the phone. First sign of shadiness was when I Showed up to pay and the guy behind the desk tried to change the price we agreed upon. Meanwhile, his helper was trying to jumpstart the vehicle for us w my wife. The entire time he was messing w the battery terminal/connection. I was very short on time and they said they’d go over the vehicle and have it ready for me the next day. I knew they were trying screw me over so I had tow truck lined up to get it the next day. Next morning they called and told me the car needed a new battery and alternator and some other odds and ends.
Had the vehicle towed to Pa, alternator and battery tested fine. That was in may. It’s now October and the vehicle still holds a charge on the same battery and alternator they wanted to charge me $2800 to replace ??
This was a nice vehicle and they were trying to get an abandoned title so they could resell it. Sorry about your loss zz??
I never mentioned a word or left a review until they thought it would be a nice idea to text me and ask if I needed service. I mentioned the situation to the lady and she has yet to respond. What a bunch of scammers!!!

I want to give a special shoutout to the young lady at the front desk. I don’t know her name, but her customer service is exceptional. It’s rare and refreshing to be greeted by someone who remembers your name after just a few minutes—that kind of attention shows they truly care about their customers.

Recently attended BCYF and seen this businesses awesome “vendor booth”. The girl representing was there every day smiling and interacting with folks, always in the ZZ Auto Tshirt. I finally got a chance to stop by and chat for a bit the last couple nights and even as she was packing up with her son she talked all about the repair shop, towing service, and was surprisingly knowledgeable about the business/owner&brand values. They had a great set up and very cool air fresheners! The young men (they seemed to be all hers) were all polite and helped with handing stuff out at the end and carrying stuff away. This constant/positive representation itself is enough to get anyone in your shop. Kudos to the owner!
5 year long customer. Happy with all of the work, refer friends here consistently. They do oil changes, tire changes, sell vehicles, u haul & the tow service is quick and communicative. I have many car troubles and have had plenty of incidents , and zzauto is who I call and have on speed dial.
Needed a winch-out after I managed to back my car into a culvert. ZZ came promptly (less than hour) and the driver, Kelsey (I believe), was friendly, competent and efficient. Because of his expertise, winching my car out only took about 10 minutes. Highly recommended.
Wally and his team are AWESOME! I needed an alternator because mine failed, and they helped me immediately! They were professional and understanding. I couldn't have asked for any better service! The work required to replace the alternator on my vehicle was a real pain, but they got it done quickly, and we're so courteous! THANK YOU EVERYONE AT ZZ AUTO!
The customer service here is impeccable! I spoke with a young lady, Samantha, when I kept calling with questions regarding U-haul. She was so polite and informative and even when she didn’t know the answer to my question, she took my name and number and called me back promptly with the information I needed. She even gave me some information on the shop and services they provide, as well as information on state inspection process and cost. Thank you ZZ Auto Service Center for having impressive customer service which is hard to come by anymore.
The team at ZZ Auto Service Center was really nice and helpful. They got my inspection done quickly and made the whole process easy. I appreciated how efficient they were and would definitely recommend them.
I brought them my Father's Ford Ranger that he left me after he passed. It sat in my driveway for a few years and wouldn't run. They towed it and did a BUNCH of work. They charged me less than what another shop quoted, and the other shop had an employee discount. The prices were fair, and the people were very nice. I have my Dad's old truck back, and it means the world to me. There was even a huge dent in the fender that they bent back, just to be nice.
Dakota came to our rescue after my 73-year old mother and I had maintenance issues in Strasburg, Virginia. He was extremely friendly and professional! Thank you, ZZ Auto, for being there for us in our time of need.

Nice people, but one of the worst run businesses I have seen in years.
I got some very nice tires for my Lincoln in the mail from Tirerack.com. My usual tire place (Hunt County, right down 51) said their machine had broken. So I called and priced a balance and mount at ZZ auto, and was told $15/tire. So when I called in on my day off to schedule an appointment about 11:30AM-NOON, I was told "just bring it in before 4:30 and we will do it."
So I showed up about an hour after I had called (12:45pm). There was either 1 other person waiting or 2. I told her I had called about getting tires put on, and had a seat. I waited AT LEAST 2.5 hours before my vehicle was touched. I would see people getting inspections come and go while I sat there, waiting my turn for my car to even get pulled into the garage. I know its very easy to read 2.5 hours and not think about it, but I could've driven all the way to Delaware in that time, despite me calling ahead to ask for an appointment.
So they finally pull my car back , and the speed is just horrendous. They are still getting inspection customers who had just come in, basically cut in front of me, and were out the door in 20-30 minutes. I would look through the window of the shop, and it seemed as if 1 person was working while everyone else stood around. I saw multiple mechanics walking around outside while they left one person to work on getting my tires on, even though I had been there 3.5hrs at this point. The man doing my car moved about as slow as possible from what I could see from inside. I guess what I'm saying is, there was no sense of "hey, this person has been waiting 3.5hrs, could someone else jump on and help out so we could get him out faster."
Then at hour 4, I was told my lug nuts were stripped on one of the wheels, and that they needed to order new ones. She went ahead and assumed that I was ok with still waiting, and would pay the price ($44) of the new lug nuts; without ever explaining or asking me any of this. I tell her thats fine, as I dont care at this point I just need to eat and get other chores done since it is my day off. I have had the lug nut thing happen at Hunt County on 51 last time I got tires, and the whole time I was there was about 50mins, and they did not charge me anything extra. (Not saying I expect that, but that was my experience there).
So finally, after over 4.5hrs, (enough time to drive from Inwood to NYC), even though I called before going to get an appt or the best time, they finish. Mechanic takes it for it a test drive and gives it back to me, and apologizes for the wait. They seem like nice guys, talk to them for a few mins about cars, but Im obviously worn out after 4.5-5hrs trying to get tires put on when its NEVER taken me more than 1 hour even with the messed up lug nuts.
I get home, I realize 3 of the 4 tires were put on backwards. They are not symmetrical treads, so they need to face the right direction. It is literally written "outside" and "inside" on the side of the tires, and 3 out of 4 were wrong. My vehicle is AWD, so each tire is supposed to be identical. This was the main reason I spent $800 on identical tires for them to put on. It is about the most basic of basic mistakes that could be made, and it was made on 3 out of my 4 tires.
Im not saying they arent nice people, it just seems like the type of business where the owner or manager doesn't care. People are allowed to work at whatever speed they please, and shame on the customer if you thought it would take us less than 4 hours to get a set of tires on, even though you called ahead....
ARE THESE THE PEOPLE YOU WANT WORKING ON YOUR VEHICLE? IF YOUR ANSWER TO THAT IS STILL YES, I PRAY FOR YOUR SANITY THAT YOU HAVE NOTHING BUT FREE TIME...
