Was coming home from Buckhannon and Hitt a deer had to call 911 cause I thought my car was on fire. They called the wrecker service. This guy shows up very nice guy didn’t have any problem with him. I just have a problem with his prices, he double charged me and he told me that night that he can’t take it and drop it off at Total Image, which is bullshit because they’re open all night long and they have a dropbox for keys and he knows this and he can’t say he didn’t! 708.00 everybody, I’ve talked to About. It says that he’s a crook and I’m starting to believe it don’t take your business to this guy unless you wanna be ripped off.! Maybe he should think about changing his prices and he would get better reviews because honestly, he seemed like a nice guy. Just don’t like when people take advantage.
I would like to thank Ed for coming Thursday evening after I fell asleep and found my pickup and trailer 3 feet deep in a swamp. That trailer was a very expensive piece of equipment that is key to my buisness and he was able to extract it flawlessly. The truck was finished thanks to a couple of trees but he still got it out with out doing any additional damage. Very knowledgeable, professional, and nice equipment. Also would like to give his wife a very honorable mention she was also involved in every aspect of the job, ty both for the help.
I had just found out my car had been towed around 5:30 am. My fiance and I are in the process of moving so I have A LOT of things inside the car. As if finding out your car has been towed isn't stressful enough, add on having so many of your personal belongings in it, some that can't be replaced. I wasn't 100% sure who towed it but pretty much knew it was between one or two different companies considering I've lived in Barbour County almost all my life. Naturally I wanted to find out where my car was ASAP so I could start figuring out getting my things out at the very least. Google and his website says "OPEN 24 HOURS" and does NOT state only for towing. He was the rudest most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with when I called him. I simply asked if he towed a (make and model of my car) the evening before and he said, "Yes but why are you calling me now!! You could've waited until 10 o'clock!!" And before I could even get out "Because I just found out" he had already hung up on me. Probably should change that 24 hour thing to 24 hours for towing otherwise don't call until 10am. I'm more than 100% sure that if the situation would be reversed he wouldn't sit and twiddle his thumbs for 4+ hours worrying about his car and all of his belongings. Seems like with his prices a little bit of hospitality would be included. Apparently not. He also towed a car for my father once and I was present and trust me he's just as rude and unprofessional in person. He did more damage to the car than the ditch did while pulling out simply because of where he hooked it up at. Would not recommend to anyone.
very unpleasant man, very rude to me on the phone when asked if he towed my step dads car when his site says open 24/7 assistance. very rude would not recommend.
When called to ask what the bill was i was told it was Sunday n he was doing family time n was open for towing only I stated his website stated open n open 24 hrs n that he should correct that that itshould say open Sunday for towing only now he will leave his family to tow something yet he won't walk next door n get my bill then go right back to family n when hanging up he called me an asshol
Good people my wife dealt with them she said they helped her out so she could pay him in a couple payments not many people have hear but I can actually say Thorne's towing has heart thanks guys appreciate ya
Charged me $225 for a 12 foot tow out of a ditch and was an unpleasant man to deal with. I have been charged half that for a 15 mile tow from a different company. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.
I think he took my stereo. Not the people that stole it. Also charged me 470$ for a 3 mile tow when my truck was stolen. Also not a very pleasant man. Hope I never have to encounter him again.
